The Italian will be heavily backed financially when the transfer window reopens, with the Blues desperate to secure a top-four finish and out to strengthen their defence
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will be handed significant transfer funds this January after the club secured a massive new kit deal with Nike, according to the Evening Standard.
The Italian will be heavily backed financially in the transfer market when the transfer window reopens, with the Blues desperate to secure a top-four finish.
Conte has made strengthening his defence a priority and is eyeing Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci, AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli and Roma’s Antonio Rudiger, while Michael Keane of Burnley is also an option.
Conte also wants to buy a midfielder and a striker, with Antoine Grizemann top of his shopping list, though that move may have to wait until the summer.
