José Bosingwa 5' (own goal)
90' + 4'
Another terrible night for Carlo Ancelotti and Chelsea. Bosingwa's own goal condemns them to another Premier League defeat. 85 minutes they had to pull it back but some inspired defending from Wolves and some disjointed attacking from Chelsea was not enough. Great result for Mick McCarthy and Wolves! Thanks for following tonight! Enjoy your evening!
90' + 4'
90' + 3'
Keep ball from Wolves who concede the ball eventually to Terry. Seconds left.....
90' + 3'
Terry concedes a freekick in the Chelsea half for a foul on Ward. Surely the game's up now for the champions.
90' + 1'
Drogba steps up...........and smashes it straight at the wall. Poor effort!
90' + 1'
Four minutes added time and Sturridge wins a freekick in a good position for Chelsea on the edge of the box.
BRILLIANT! Brilliant from Hennessey! Drogba comes back on to the pitch following treatment and immediately releases Anelka in behind the defence. Hennessey acts quickly and decisively and is out to slide tackle the Frenchman and clear.
It goes from bad to worse for Chelsea. Drogba is down following a fair challenge from Milijas and he's holding his back.
Wolves win the ball back and Hunt wins a freekick on the halfway line. Breathing space for the home team.
Desperate defending from Wolves here, 9 defenders packing their box but so far Chelsea are struggling to break them down.
Kakuta's delivery is poor, but Wolves make a hash of the clearance at the near post. It almost ricochets to Terry, but Wolves defenders nip in to clear.
Chelsea's initial delivery from Lampard is cleared, but only to Kakuta who wins another corner.
Sturridge swings a low cross into the box, but Berra miscues the clearance and it's out for a corner.
Terry gets up to meet the corner but can only head it high and wide from a difficult angle. On the bench Ancelotti looks bemused and slightly shocked.
Kakuta finds some space on the left flank but his low cross is deflected behind for a corner off Zubar. Meanwhile Ebanks-Blake goes down in a heap and is subbed for Milijas.
Zubar, who has been constantly marauding forward, almost combines well with Ward but Terry is in to clear.
Ebanks-Blake perhaps shows the mindset for Wolves here by chasing down a long ball with Ivanovic and immediately heading for the corner flag. He ends up fouling the Serb.
Jarvis beats Bosingwa down the left and lifts a cross into the box but Cole is fouled by Ebanks-Blake. Kakuta is on for Malouda. Very bizarre from Ancelotti if he's chasing a game.
Jarvis whips the corner in but Chelsea clear.
Stephen Hunt breaks the Chelsea offside line down the left. But with Ebanks-Blake well placed in the box, he opts to beat Bosingwa and is well challenged though he still wins a corner.
Wolves try to break, but twice they overhit crosses into the box and eventually Chelsea clear easily.
All Chelsea now, Wolves are visibly tiring now. Sturridge beats Hunt easily down the right but rather than take it with his weaker right foot he turns around onto his left and his cross is blocked.
Sturridge immediately involved, picking up Cole's cross and firing a speculative right footed shot well wide.
Sturridge replaces the disappointing Ramires. Bold move from Ancelotti.
OOOOOOOOOOH!! Bad miss that from Malouda!! Route one clearance is chased down by Malouda who breaks into the box and holds off Berra only to lose his balance and send his shot wide of the far post with only Hennessey to beat.
OFF THE POST!!! Hunt hits the post!!!! Freekick whipped in and just cannons off the angle of post and bar! Unlucky!!
Double switch for Wolves. Doyle & Fletcher off and Ebanks-Blake & Ward are on.
Poor challenge from Malouda, needlessly fouling Jarvis on the edge of the box. Decent position this for Wolves-edge of the box and just right of centre.
Anelka is on for Kalou.
DROGBA HITS THE POST!!! Great effort!! Picking up the ball in the box with his back to goal and closely marshalled by Stearman. He makes half a yard and fires a low effort in which ricochets off the near post and back into play.
My word Wolves are living dangerously! First Lampard tries to turn and shoot on the edge of the box but he is crowded out, then Drogba tries to slip Kalou into space in the area only for him to overhit the pass by an inch or two! Fine margins!!
Fantastic defending from Berra again! This time beating Drogba in the air only 8 yards from goal to stop him meeting Malouda's cross!
Kalou fires wide when well placed on the edge of the box after Chelsea work the ball well through midfield. Anelka's warming up on the touchline.
Have Wolves weathered the storm, again the break forward this time through Jarvis whose cross is blocked behind for a corner by Terry. The delivery is poor and Cech claims.
Then Wolves break!! Fletcher breaking clear down the left, but with Doyle in space in the box he fails to pick him out!
End to end stuff now!! Bosingwa breaks down the right, but with men queueing up in the box he opts to lay it off to Kalou on the edge but the pass is short and Foley nips in with a superb sliding challenge to deny the Ivorian.
Wolves playing far better, taking it to Chelsea in their own half. Hunt almost slips Fletcher in on a couple of occasions but Chelsea clear.
Couple of close opportunities to put men through from both teams. First Drogba almost plays Kalou in behind the defence, but it is cleared by Elokobi to Doyle who almost puts in Fletcher only for Bosingwa to get back and deny him well.
Wolves' inability to keep hold of possession could end up costing them here. Lampard in particular is coming to the fore, pinging passes around. This time he feeds Kalou down the right but his cross is tamely headed straight at Hennessey by Malouda.
Chelsea really have picked up the pace in the second half, Wolves are struggling to get out of their own half. But Essien rather wastes an opportunity to build the threat with a hopelessly optimistic 35 yard strike which he skews horribly high and wide.
OOOOOOOOOOOH!! Kalou really should score!!! Brilliant play from Lampard who delivers an exquisite backheel for Kalou in behind the defence. With only Hennessey to beat he hits the ball with the outside of his right foot and wide of the far post. First real chance of note for Chelsea!
Cech punches Jarvis' corner clear. It drops to the winger who beats Ramires but then his cross is blocked. The ball eventually comes back to Jarvis as Chelsea fail to clear but his second cross is overhit and Chelsea have a goalkick.
Kevin Doyle does extremely well to hold off two Chelsea defenders and then win a corner off Bosingwa.
Wolves cut open again by Chelsea, this time Malouda and Drogba combine to set up Cole on the edge of the box. But his low shot is well held by Hennessey.
Purposeful start from Chelsea as Malouda feeds Essien on the edge of the box, but unfortunately his shot is high and well wide.
Wolves get us underway for the second half!
45' + 2'
Well who saw that coming? Bosingwa's own goal after 5 minutes has put the champions behind against the bottom side at half-time. Chelsea have had plenty of possession but done very little with it, denied by a superb Hennessey save and some sterling defending from Berra and Stearman. Surely Ancelotti will have his men fired up for the second half. Back in fifteen!
45' + 2'
45' + 1'
Ivanovic misreads the flight of the ball and fouls Doyle who nips in ahead of the Serbian. Ivanovic is booked for his troubles.
Yellow CardBranislav Ivanovic
All Chelsea now at the end of the half, plenty of possession on the edge of the Wolves box and crosses going into the box, but Wolves are defending brilliantly so far.
Wolves cut open by a neat pass from Lampard for Ramires who breaks into the box, but his effort is well blocked by Berra.
Drogba is caught offside by a tight Wolves line. Marginal call but that sums up his contribution so far this half.
Malouda finds some space down the left and floats a lovely cross to the back post but Ramires stretching just can't make contact. However the ball is chased down by Kalou who picks it up on the right flank and tees up Bosingwa on the by-line whose cross is straight at Hennessey.
Chelsea again playing some neat football in midfield but still no real cutting edge or thrust to their play.
Drogba finally beats Christophe Berra in a challenge but then Stearman and the recovering Berra get back to halt the Ivorian. Great combination defending there.
Chelsea pump a set piece into the Wolves box but Hennessey is up well to claim above everyone.
Slight flashpoint involving Hunt and Terry after the winger is penalised for a soft foul on Bosingwa. Terry then prods him in the back of the head, and both are then spoken to by Mark Halsey. Memories of Cech's injury stirring a bit there?
Hunt gets back well to challenge Bosingwa for the ball, typifies the effort and work ethic in this Wolves side so far.
Zubar's gone down clutching his head after an aerial clash with Cole. He looks ok though.
Chelsea's pressure is beginning to tell on the home side, but Terry wastes a decent opportunity on the edge of the area by firing high over the bar.
FANTASTIC SAVE BY HENNESSEY!!! Brilliant point blank save from the Wolves keeper! Malouda breaks clear down the left, fires a cross into the box. Kalou gets a soft touch on the ball and it's rolling in and Hennessey diving the other way stretches out a foot and somehow keeps it out.
Chelsea's profligacy in the final third continues. This time Bosingwa wastes two decent crossing positions-underhitting the first and overhitting the second.
Good spell of possession from Chelsea, but it's all in midfield. Then Cole is robbed by Zubar who outmuscles the Chelsea full back. He feeds Doyle who hits a low shot from the edge of the box straight at Cech.
Berra is not just dominating Drogba in the air. This time he is facing the striker one-on-one and does extremely well to not only hold him up but then put in a fair challenge to clear the danger.
Both Chelsea's fullbacks are getting forward well. This time Bosingwa charges down the right, feeds Kalou and continues his run. This frees up the Ivorian on the edge of the box but his shot is charged down by Hunt.
Wolves defence do well to win a couple of headers from Malouda's corner-Berra's winning everything in the air against Drogba-and the danger is cleared through Elokobi.
Fantastic cross from Ashley Cole to the back post is headed behind for a corner by Elokobi with Kalou waiting.
Terry rather needlessly barges Doyle over midway through the Chelsea half. Freekick to Wolves, which is pumped forward but Ivanovic is up to clear.
Now Chelsea have some good possession, but the final pass is missing so far as first Drogba is crowded out by two defenders and then Terry attempts a speculative 40 yard pass which goes straight out for a goal kick.
Wolves' turn to enjoy some good possession. Just trying to take out the sting of this game. Cole wins the ball back and feeds Kalou down the right, but he runs the ball out of play. Very few chances for the champions so far.
Chelsea's attack is halted by Zubar who charges 60 yards down the pitch trying to take the game to them but Bosingwa challenges him well and Chelsea have a throw.
Could be a long night for Wolves this, Chelsea are beginning to exert plenty of possession and are all over them like a rash.
Wolves defending deep and hoping to hit on the break and they almost break into a threatening position when Fletcher feeds Hunt who bursts over the halfway line but is fairly barged off the ball by Ivanovic.
Ramires and Drogba exchange passes and the Brazilian tries to break into the box but Stephen Hunt is back to cover and Ramires then fouls him.
First decent spell of pressure from Chelsea. Bosingwa swings a couple of crosses into the box, but Wolves are back in numbers and defend the danger well.
The home fans are delighted and there are cries of "You're getting sacked in the morning" which are aimed at Carlo Ancelotti.
Own GoalJosé Bosingwa
The resulting corner goes in off a Chelsea player, Bosingwa I believe. It's a poor goal for Chelsea to concede, a low corner whipped in by Hunt which isn't dealt with at the near post. It runs across the six yard box and ricochets off Bosingwa with Fletcher close by. One nil Wolves!
GOAL FOR WOLVES!!! They lead the champions!!!
OOOOOOOH! Fantastic strike from Ronald Zubar of all people! 30 yards out on his weaker left foot in the centre, and Petr Cech palms it behind for a corner.
Fairly quiet start from both team's so far. Plenty of loose passes so far and plenty of boos for Chelsea players from the home fans and boos for Stephen Hunt from the away ones.
Chelsea get us underway at Molineux!
Fairly subdued atmosphere at Molineux as both sides are out on the pitch and preparing for kick off.
So neither side has had the best of festive campaigns with Wolves losing to fellow strugglers West Ham and Chelsea losing to Arsenal and then drawing at home to Aston Villa, but Wolves were triumphing at Anfield a week ago and can they rouse themselves for today's clash against the reigning champions?
So Doyle and Fletcher are lining up in attack for Wolves while Bruma and Anelka drop out for Ivanovic and Kalou for Chelsea.
Meanwhile Chelsea are lined up: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Essien, Lampard, Kalou, Drogba, Malouda. Subs: Turnbull, Ferreira, Sturridge, Anelka, Kakuta, Bruma, McEachran.
First up it's the team news. Wolves are lining up: Hennessey, Zubar, Stearman, Berra, Elokobi, Jarvis, Foley, Edwards, Hunt, Fletcher, Doyle. Subs: Hahnemann, Ebanks-Blake, Ward, David Jones, Milijas, Batth, Doherty.
