That result means these sides have shared 26 goals in their last five meetings. Fantastic entertainment. That's it from me, Harry Slavin, this afternoon. Thanks to all of you who joined me for this mesmerising match. FULL-TIME WOLFSBURG 3-3 DORTMUND. Wow. What a finish to this match! Both teams went gung-ho for goals and they certainly delivered. Ivan Perisic left the pitch to a hero's applause after his two goals helped his side into a comfortable 3-1 lead against his old club. However his teammates couldn't hold out and he had to watch on from the bench as Reus rescued a point for the visitors.
90' + 3'
It's Dortmund's turn to lump a free kick into the box. Reus sends in the free kick but Benaglio just about beats Hummels to the ball.
90' + 2'
The home side have one last chance to snatch the victory but Ricardo Rodriguez's free kick sails over everyone. Naldo was closest but in an offside position in any case.
What an incredible finish we've had here. We have three minutes of added on time. I'm not sure my fingers can take any more action!
GOOOAAALLL!!! REUS LEVELS!!! The boy is just pure class. Blaszczykowski just about finds his teammate on the edge of the area but there is still a lot to do. He takes it beyond the last defender before lashing the ball high into the roof of the net via the crossbar. Dortmund are level and I don' think many in the ground saw it coming. I certainly didn't!
Two chances in a minute for Wolfsburg! Olic wastes the first by blasting over when well placed and then on the very next attack Hummels has to divert the ball behind at full stretch to stop a Wolfsburg tap in.
GOOOAAALLL!!! REUS PULLS ONE BACK!!! Hang on. We're not done here quite yet. Reus latches onto Gundogan's long ball and calmly lift the ball beyond Benaglio for his 13th of the season. A sniff of a chance for the visitors.
HUMMELS NODS WIDE!!! Easily the visitors best chance of the second half and it's gone. Reus fires across an inswinging free kick and the centre-back rises highest but heads wide of the left-hand post.
There wont be a hat-trick for Perisic today as he gets subbed but he's certainly inflicted the damage on his old side this afternoon. I imagine he'll be pretty satisfied with that. Marcel Shafer comes on in his place.
Dortmund are pushing forward and as a result they're leaving themselves over exposed at the back. Jan Polak is one good pass away from serving up Ivan Perisic's second tap in of the game.
Klopp rolls the dice once more as he sends on Leitner for Santana in search of a goal that would see Dortmund back on this contest.
Benaglio is less than impressed with Schieber. The BVB sub is played in by Reus but his first touch is a little heavy and allows Benaglio to dive on the ball. This doesn't stop Schieber from leaving his foot in on the Wolfsburg keeper and the Swiss shot-stopper lets the Dortmund striker know what he thinks with a cold death stare.
Nothing is coming off for the visitors today! Lewandowski has the ball at his feet in the penalty area but he's swarmed by a group of Wolfsburg defenders and eventually gives away possession.
Vieirinha breaks clear and is in plenty of space, but lacks support. He tries to pick out Perisic at the back post but Lukasz Piszczek does well to intercept with his head and divert it back to his goalkeeper.
A rare corner for the visitors but Reus' delivery is punched clear by Benaglio. Just under 20 minutes left now.
Dortmund are beginning to struggle with the constant onslaught of Wolfsburg attacks. Those extra games in Europe look to be taking their toll on the players' legs.
ALMOST THE HAT-TRICK FOR PERISIC!!! Olic plays a huge part again as he plays a sumptuous cross-field pass to pick out his teammate. The former BVB man then has time to pick his spot from the edge of the area but he curls just wide.
Still Dortmund cannot deal with Olic. The pacy Croat wins another corner as Wolfsburg catch their opponents on the counter. The corner is well cleared, but the danger of Olic persists!
Yellow CardJan Polak
Jan Polak follows swiflty into the book for a foul Blaszczykowski. His foot was a little high in the sliding tackle and he catches the Pole in full flight.
Yellow CardIlkay Gündogan
Gundogan is the latest player in the book after nudging Olic off of the ball. Yet more frustration creeping into BVB's play.
Chances coming thick and fast now. Sahin tries to curl one in from quite some distance. It comes through a crowd which has Benaglio scurrying across his goal but the ball goes wide, much to his relief.
There's a bit of ebb and flow to this half as Dortmund go down the other end and try their luck. Schieber is the man behind BVB's latest effort on goal but he fires wide.
Their queuing up on thw Wolfsburg team to try their luck. Jan Polak is the latest to let fly but his effort flies wide.
I don't think anyone wants Olic to score this afternoon. The striker is free on the right as Wolfsburg pile forward but the ball into him is far too hard and the Croat has to revert to ball chasing once more.
Naldo doesn't look best pleased and nor should he. The big central defender has just been shown a clean set of heels by his counterpart Felipe Santana. The big defender will have been relieved to see the cross come to nothing but the damage was already done. Santana goes 1-0 up in the battle of the brutes.
Marco Reus is in behind here and not offside but a fantastic bit of defensive work from Makoto Hasebe eases the Dortmund man off of the ball. Dortmund looking a little more lively now.
Signs of life from Dortmund! Reus dances his way into the area and tees up Lewandowski who is denied by a fine stop by Benaglio. You feel Dortmund need to score early on here to put up any sort of fight.
Ivica Olic picks off from where he left off. He works the right-hand channel and turns Hummels inside out before firing in a delicious low cross, but no one is in the middle to take advantage.
We're underway for the second half then. Dortmund make the two changes, Bender and Grosskreutz are the players to make way.
Klopp is indeed changing things at the break. It looks like Jakub Blaszczykowski and Julian Schieber are coming on for the second half.
So what can Jurgen Klopp do to change things in the second half? A lot of his players look in Champions League final preservation mode. If they continue to put in performances like this then they're not likely to feature in the final.
Dortmund may not have second wrapped up mathematically, but to all intents and purposes they are going to finish there. Bayer Leverkusen can still catch them on points but BVB's far superior goal difference means there needs to be a 17 goal swing. Unlikely.
That target of 70 points seems a long way off at the moment for BVB. They're also struggling to seal that one point that will wrap up second spot for them. There may be a few home truths discussed in that Dortmund changing room at the break.
HALF-TIME: WOLFSBURG 3-1 DORTMUND. What an incredible first forty-five! Dortmund looked to be taking the initiative early on when Bender gave them the lead but old boy Perisic has come back to haunt them with two goals and Naldo's strike has put clear daylight between the sides. Long way back for Klopp' side now.
Most of Dortmund have had a fairly woeful half but Sahin is leading the way. He tries to send a free kick into the area but it goes straight over everyone and out for a goal kick. Wasted.
Yellow CardMarco Reus
Marco Reus is the first player in the book this afternoon for a reckless sliding tackle. That probably boils down to frustration more than anything else.
Olic is inches away from the goal his performance deserves. He's played in by Ribas and he takes the shot first time, before Weidenfeller can set. It beats the Dortmund keeper but roles agonisingly wide of the post.
Into the final five minutes of the first half. Can the visitors drag themselves back into this before the break?
INCREDIBLE!! It's almost four for Wolfsburg in the most bizarre of circumstances! A throw in comes into the Dortmund area and Santana rises unchallenged but heads the ball the wrong way, his attempted clearance crashing back off the post! If the visitors don't sort this, it could get embarrassing.
Dortmund don't look like a side preparing for a Champions League final. There are an awful lot of jitters, especially in that back line.
Wolfsburg are well on course now to complete the double over BVB and they wont be the first to do so this season either as Schalke and Hamburg have already beaten Klopp's side twice.
Dortmund have barely responded to those two quickfire goals. They look shell-shocked. In comes another corner for the visitors to defend. They're saved this time by the referees whistle as Naldo is penalised for jumping unfairly.
Ivica Olic has been giving the Dortmund defence a torrid time. He may not be on the core sheet just yet, but his movement and running has been pulling the two centre-backs all over the park. A fantastic exhibition of how to play the lone-striker role.
What an incredible opening half an hour! Dortmund didn't do much to deserve their lead but it has proved the catalyst for an emphatic response from the home side. Can Klopp's men weather the storm?
GOOOAAALLL!!!! NALDO SMASHES HOME A THIRD!!! This is getting ridiculous! Two goals in as many minutes have the home side firmly in control. Rodriguez sends in a corner that is flicked on to the centre-back, who duly leathers the ball home from inside the area. Cue pandemonium in the stands!
Wolfsburg are rampant now. Olic takes the ball down the wing and wins a corner. The home side can smell blood.
GOOOAAALLL!!! WOLFSBURG HAVE TURNED IT AROUND!!! Surely this has to go down as Diego's goal? Perisic takes aim from outside of the D and his effort takes a huge deflection off of the Brazilian and flies into the corner with Weidenfeller rooted. The stadium announcer has given it to Perisic, and the Croat seems happy to accept the plaudits!
BVB are almost back in the lead! The ball is played through for Lewandowski who runs clean through on goal. The Pole hesitates to shoot though and narrows the angle for himself. He tries to lay the ball back for the incoming Piszczek but his effort balloons high and wide.
I predicted goals and so far we haven't been disappointed! two goals and we haven't even reached the halfway point of the first half. I think we could be looking at another five-goal thriller between these two, at least!
Ivan Perisic has to receive a bit of treatment after the goal but he's soon back on his feet and rejoining the action. Back to square one for Dortmund.
GOOOAAALLL!! WOLFSBURG ARE LEVEL!! I told you to look out for him. Perisic scores against his former employers as he taps home after Ivica Olic squares unselfishly. Perisic takes a thwack from Santana as he taps in but that wont deter the Wolfsburg fans celebrating.
Dortmund start an attack from deep for the first time this afternoon and try to get their opponents backpedalling as Gundogan drives at the Wolfsburg defence. He can't pick out Reus' run though and the attack is broken up.
Back when these teams met at Signal Iduna Park back in December, Wolfsburg recovered from conceding an early goal to emerge 3-2 winners. There's hope yet foe Dieter Hecking's side.
The way this game has started, I can't see that being the only goal. Both defences look more preoccupied with getting forward in these early stages. Expect more goals from this one. I promise!
There's a big questions over offside for that goal. Both Santana and Lewandowski were offside when the ball was swung in, Bender was just about level. It stands though and Dortmund have the lead.
GOOOAAALLLLL!!!!! BENDER PUTS BVB IN FRONT!!!! It's been a kamikaze start and we already have our first goal courtesy of Sven Bender. The midfielder gets on the end of Nuri Sahin's centre and prods beyond Diego Benaglio in the Wolfsburg goal. Lewandowski tries to poach the goal on the line but the ball was already over.
Energetic start from the hosts. They win two corners in quick succession as they try to pile the pressure onto a BVB defence that hasn't settled yet. The visitors just about deal with the set pieces on this occasion.
Early chance for the hosts as Naldo pokes Diego Ribas' free kick wide but he had done so from an offside position.
Referee Perl gives a big old blast on his whistle and we are underway!
The teams are out at the Volkswagen Arena and we are not far from kick off.
We could be in for a goalfest if past meetings are anything to go by. These two have produced 20 goals in their last four meetings, an average of five goals a game. Fingers crossed.
It will be a big day for Ivan Perisic in the Wolfsburg midfield. The Croat left BVB in January to join the Wolves and he'll feel he has a point to prove this afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp has followed up his claims that BVB are still taking the Bundesliga seriously with a pretty strong line up. Santana starts in place of Subotic and Blazczykowski is replaced by Grosskreutz but apart from that, it looks a full strength side.
DORTMUND: (4-2-3-1) Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Santana, Hummels, Schmelzer; Bender, Sahin; Reus Gundogan, Grosskreutz; Lewandowski.
WOLFSBURG: (4-2-3-1) Benaglio; Hasebe, Knoche, Naldo, Rodriguez; Polak, Medojevic; Vieirinha, Diego, Perisic; Olic.
We are about ten minutes away from kick-off so lets get some team news, starting with the hosts.

Dortmund only need a point to secure second place, but they need to win their final two games to reach 70 points. Their opponents today however will have other ideas, with Wolfsburg manager Dieter Hecking looking to mastermind a league double over the deposed champions.
Jurgen Klopp insisted this week that his side's Bundesliga season is far from finished. BVB surrendered their title to rivals Bayern Munich a long time ago but Klopp has set his side a target of reaching the 70 points mark. They also need one more point to seal 2nd place in the league. A win today would see them well on the way to those two targets.
Good Afternoon and a warm welcome to Goal's coverage from the Volkswagen Arena as Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund prepare to take on VfL Wolfsburg. I'm Harry Slavin and I'll be here to take you through all the action from this afternoon's Bundesliga clash.
