FULL TIME! West Ham 2 - 4 Manchester United. Wayne Rooney's second-half hat trick wiped out West Ham's half time 2-0 lead, before Hernandez added a fourth to secure all three points for the current league leaders.

Manchester United corner is played back to Fabio by Valencia as the visitors look to retain the ball. Bebratov is caught offside following a long ball from Carrick.

Good defensive play from Hernandez who dispossess's Obinna inside the Man United half.
Hat trick hero Rooney leaves the field and on comes Nani in his place.
Good play from Berbatov again, as he beats Jacobsen again on the left hand side and makes his way into the box only to play a poor ball. West Ham are beginning to tire.
GOAL! West Ham 2 - 4 Manchester United. Hernandez gets onto the score sheet, after a deflected cross goal shot from Giggs finds its way to the Mexican, who slots the ball into an empty net fro 3-yards out.
Obinna replaces O'Neil, whilst double goalscorer Noble makes way for Keane.
Chance! West Ham lose the ball cheapily on the half way line, and Berbatov breaks, but the Bulgarian lacks the pace to go for goal. Great hold up play before he plays the ball to Gibson on the edge of the box, who fires over the bar.

GOAL! West Ham 2 - 3 Manchester United. Rooney secures his hat trick as he sends Green the wrong way and slots the ball into the right hand corner.
Penalty! Lovely play from Valencia and then Fabio down the left hand side, before Fabio's cross meets an Upson arm, harsh decision.
Good save from Green. This time Berbatov is given too much time, who fires at the keepers near post from the right hand side of the box.
GOAL! West Ham 2 - 2 Manchester United. It's Rooney again, who collects Valencia's ball on the edge of the box and makes space for himself in the box with a great first touch, before firing across goal into the left hand side of Green's goal.
Piquionne concedes a free kick after a push on Vidic in the box following some patient build up from the home side.
Great play from Berbatov, who turns Da Costa on the left hand side and drives into the box, only for Green to turn the cross behind for a corner.
Piquionne replaces Cole. Solid performance from the Englishman who has been a handful with Ba all day for the opposition defence.
Park Ji-Sung makes way for Dimitar Berbatov, as Manchester United look to conintue to pile on the pressure.
GOAL! West Ham 2 - 1 Manchester United. Great free-kick by Rooney, who curls the ball around the West Ham wall into the right hand side of the goal from 25-yards out.
Rooney breaks again, making space for himself as he drives forward and plays Hernandez through down the left hand flank, only for West Ham to clear.
Jacobsen concedes a free kick on the half way for a needless push on Ji-Sung. The quickly taken kick finds Hernandez who cuts inside towards the edge of the box, but once again Parker makes the tackle.
Yellow CardManuel Da Costa Trindade
Da Costa receives a yellow card after a foul on Rooney from behind. Giggs takes the free kick from 35-yards out, which is sent into the box but manges to evade a Manchester United player.
Rooney holds on too long as he brings the ball from the half way line to the edge of the West Ham box, only for Parker to intervene from behind.
Da Costa scuppers a clearance from a Hernandez cross under pressure from Ji-Sung, and concedes the corner. The resulting cross makes its way through the box without any contact.
Wasteful crossfield ball from Smalling gives possession back to West Ham. Not the first poor ball the centre back has played today.
O'Neil brings the ball forward and plays in Ba on the right hand side, who then cuts in and shoots, only for the strike to be safely cleared by Smalling.
Good move again from the visitors, as Rooney's dink makes space for Hernandez on the left, only for the Mexican to play a poor ball into the box.
Vidic is lucky not to receive a second yellow after bringing down Cole on the half way line with a clumsey challenge.
Hernandez breaks down the left before cutting inside to play across to the right hand flank to Valencia. Decent build-up but results in nothing as West Ham break play down.
CHANCE! Man United straight onto the front foot, with a first time Giggs cross met by Hernandez who flicks over the bar on the volley with his first touch of the game.
Second half kicks off at here at Upton Park, with West Ham two goals to the good thanks to two Noble penalties. Evra makes way for Hernandez, as the visitors look to salvage something from the game in the second half.

HALF TIME! West Ham 2 - 0 Manchester United. The visitors are unlucky to be two goals down at Upton Park, after a pressing first half display. Yet West Ham find themselves ahead after two Mark Noble penaltys, the first a result of an Evra handball, whilst returning Captain Vidic's trip on Cole bringing the second. Good game so far at Upton Park.

Valencia in space again down the left hand side, but his cross is poor and the referee blows for the end of the first half.

Two minutes of added time here in the first half at Upton Park, as Da Costa fouls Rooney from behind. Man United free kick 30-yards from goal is laid off to Gibson, whose shot is then blocked by the West Ham wall.
Ba loses the ball in midfield, and Man United continue to press for a goal as the half draws to a close.

Hitzlsperger takes the free kick from 25-yards out which goes just past the right hand post.
Yellow Card! Vidic is lucky not to go as a long West Ham ball goes over the Serbian, who then brings down Demba Ba. Only yellow despite being last man.
Man United free kick just inside the oppositions half after Upson bumps Ji-Sung off the ball. Posession retained as Valencia gets the opportunity to cross twice in succession, with West Ham failing to clear convincingly.
Nice ball by Rooney feeds in Giggs, who works his way down the right hand side to win a corner kick. The worked corner finds its way to Valencia on the 18-yard line, who fires high over the bar.
CHANCE! O'Neil breaks down the right-hand side and plays an early cross to the back of the box, which is met by Hitzlsperger on the volley and his first time volley fires just wide of the left-hand post.

Yellow card for Gibson as he loses the ball to West Ham before kicking out at Noble. Frustation possibly beginning to show already.
CHANCE! Great save from Green as Rooney's cross deflects to Park Ji-Sung, who blasts the ball towards the West Ham goal only for the keeper to save well.
West Ham free kick in the box as Green is fouled.
Valencia still looks a threat, again looking to play the ball across goal before Upson clears for a corner. West Ham concede another corner from the resulting kick.

GOAL! West Ham 2 - 0 Manchester United. Great penalty from Noble, as Kuszczack dives the same way to his left hand side, Noble drives the ball into the top right hand corner, superb penalty.
Penalty! Cole steps past Vidic into the box from the right hand side, only to be caught by the Serbian's trailing leg.
West Ham seem to be growing into this game as time elapses, but continue to waste possession in the final third of the field.
Lovely ball for Cole from Ba, which sets the striker free inside the box, only for Smalling to intervene which a great sliding tackle.
Park Ji-Sung is inches away from making contact with Rooney's low cross, which then bobbles on the six yard line only for Giggs' shot to be deflected out for a corner.
Rooney finds space on the right hand side and wins a corner. Man United beginning to find some good space amongst the West Ham defence. Giggs' corner is cleared by Da Costa
Valencia is looking lively, he collects a cross field ball from Rooney, then jinks past Bridge to drive another low cross into the West Ham box, which is again cleared for a corner.
Poor corner which by-passes the box to go out for a goal kick.
Gibson's crossfield ball finds Valencia on the left hand side, who fires in a low cross which is cleared by Upson for the corner

GOAL! West Ham 1 - 0 Manchester United. Noble slots the penalty to the keepers right hand side to put West Ham ahead.
Penalty! Cole gets in past the Man United defence, Evra gets back and the Frenchman handles as Cole tries to loop the ball over him.
Evra drives down the left, only for O'Neil to block his cross and concede the corner. Giggs loops it into the back of the box, only for the ball to be easily cleared.
Carlton Cole and Wayne Bridge clattered in the space of 10 seconds. Gibson catches Cole, before Fabio concedes a free-kick after knocking down Bridge. Resulting free-kick is swung in only for Kuszczack to easily collect.
Giggs with the second corner which again is won by Smalling, who heads high and wide this time
Poor Upson clearance eventually leads to a Manchester United corner. Giggs with the in-swinger from the left hand side which meets the head of Smalling at the back post, only for Green to tip over the bar

West Ham are currently one of the Premier League's form sides, having gained 11 points from their last 6 games, compared to Manchester United's 9 points. Yet West Ham have failed to win or score in their last five games against today's opponents, despite a 4-0 Carling Cup victory over the Red Devils earlier in the season.
West Ham's Scott Parker has been passed fit to start today, whilst Carlton Cole and Demba Ba retain their places up front, with Frederic Piquionne recovering from a toe injury to feature as a possible substitute.
Edwin van der Sar misses out today, yet Sir Alex Ferguson can recall captain Nemanja Vidic to the centre of defence today, whilst Nani, Hernandez and Berbatov are all available from the bench.

It's a welcome return to Premier League action after the international break, and we should hopefully be in for an exciting clash today, with Man United hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table, and West Ham looking to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
