So a much-improved performance from the Hammers then, who climb to 15th in the league table after that emphatic win. Fulham looked completely shot towards the end and you have to wonder if Jol can turn things around from here. That's it for our coverage but do check back into this very website a bit later for live coverage of Newcastle United v West Bromwich Albion. Cheers.
90' + 3'
West Ham play keep ball in the closing minutes before the referee puts Fulham out of their misery and blows the final whistle. Huge win for the home side.
90' + 1'

Goal Joe Cole
West Ham score again! Morrison does brilliantly to slalom his way past three defenders before laying it off for Joe Cole, who puts it away in style. Superb goal.
Zverotic fires well wide from a tight angle. That's as close as Fulham have come to scoring this afternoon really.
Will this be the end of Martin Jol? His team have been quite poor and Jaaskelainen has not had a single save to make yet.
Last throw of the dice from Fulham as 17-year-old French striker Moussa Dembele replaces Richardson.
Assist Stewart Downing
Goal Carlton Cole
Carlton Cole scores! Downing beats Richardson for pace before laying it on a plate for the much-maligned England striker. Game over.
Morrison with a dazzling run into the Fulham box before a dragging his effort just wide as Maiga departs the field of play to be replaced by Carlton Cole.
Noble surges forward before finding Maiga, but the striker drags his effort wide. Carlton Cole is getting ready to come on for the home side.
Nolan departs the scene to be replaced by Ravel Morrison, while Fulham swap Sidwell for Giorgos Karagounis.
Fulham are seeing a lot of the ball now but their build-up play is too slow and ponderous to seriously trouble West Ham. Taarabt's dinked ball to Bent runs straight into the arms of Jaaskelainen.
Joe Cole cuts in from the left and unleashes a drive at goal but Stekelenburg is equal to it.
West Ham desperate for a second goal to kill off this contest. The visitors are not providing much in the way of goal threat as we enter the final 20 minutes.
Downing's cross from the right bounces back off the crossbar! Still only 1-0 to the home side as they bring on Joe Cole for Matt Jarvis.
Kasami takes aim from long range but the effort squirms just wide of the post. Jaaskelainen had it covered anyway.
Jarvis heads straight at Stekelenburg from a Downing cross as Fulham bring on Bryan Ruiz for the ineffective Duff.
Oh my. Downing's resulting corner kick is headed marginally wide by Tomkins. Fulham got out of jail there.
West Ham keeping the ball well now as Jarvis' cross is cut out by Amorebieta. Corner.
Maiga takes aim with a swerving effort but Stekelenburg saves brilliantly to his right. The rebound falls kindly to Downing, who cannot keep his shot down and blazes well over. Let off for Fulham.
Noble with an excellent ball to Maiga but the striker is adjudged offside. Doesn't look too happy with that call.
West Ham have some possession at last after a period of sustained pressure from Fulham. But McCartney's cross from the left is poor, rolling out for a Fulham throw.
Fulham ping the ball about around the West Ham box as they look to find a way through. Duff's cross just fails to reach Kasami as West Ham clear.
Sidwell with an excellent cross to the far post but Kasami's first touch is poor and the ball rolls behind for a goal kick. So frustrating that for the visitors.
Fulham responding well to going behind here as Kasami overhits his cross straight to Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Fulham have a corner as they look to respond immediately. Taarabt's delivery is too close to the keeper, who punches clear.
Goal Mohamed Diame
West Ham take the lead! And it's Diame, whose strike from long range takes a big deflection off Amorebieta and wrong foots Stekelenburg.
Fulham gets us underway in the second half. No changes made by either side.
So a very nervy half of football comes to an end, with the best chance falling to Maiga. Both teams were short on confidence coming into this London derby and it shows. Do stick around for the second period.
45' + 2'
Yellow Card Mohamed Diame
45' + 2'
Diame gets booked for a reckless lunge at Duff. And there goes the whistle for half time.
Zverotic is in the right place to head away a Downing cross with Kevin Nolan lurking. The ball eventually falls to Jarvis, whose overhead kick is straight at Stekelenburg.
Noble takes a West Ham free kick from the right. It's a poor delivery, though, and Fulham clear easily.
Into the final five minutes of what has been a very scrappy half. Diame has a chance to volley from an angle but his shot lacks power and Stekelenburg gathers.
Noble picks out Downing with a searching ball but Ricardson does well to recover ground and win the ball back.
Diame motors towards the Fulham goal with intent but he tries to beat one too many defenders and loses the ball. Still 0-0.
Amorebieta lands awkwardly after a clash with Maiga. The Venezuelan looks a bit groggy but is fine to continue.
Parker plays a through ball to Bent but he overhits that one and Guy Demel steps in to clear.
West Ham were the more impressive team during the opening stages but Fulham are starting to creep into the contest now. The visiting side are beginning to see more of the ball.
And that is shockingly poor from Richardson, who fires wildly over from a position of real promise.
It's all happening here. Downing cuts in from the right and unleashes a drive to test Stekelenburg before a Fulham counter attack is brought to an abrupt end as Bent is fouled just outside the box. Great chance this for Fulham to open the scoring.
Yellow Card George McCartney
Diame finds Nolan with a looping cross, but the England midfielder is adjudged to have fouled Amorebieta and Fulham are awarded a free kick.
Good block by Collins as Taarabt pulled the trigger. Duff's resulting corner is cleared comfortably by the West Ham defence.
Sidwell next to go in the book for bringing down Diame. It has been that sort of a niggly game thus far.
Yellow Card Steve Sidwell
Taarabt goes on another mazy run before finding Damien Duff. However, the winger cannot play in Bent and the chance is gone.
West Ham come again through Diame before Sidwell steps in to concede a corner. Noble's delivery is headed marginally wide by James Collins.
Mohamed Diame volleys over from Tomkins' headback. West Ham are knocking on the doors here.
Taarabt draws a foul from Noble and wins a free kick in a good area. Elsad Zverotic cannot keep his effort down, however, blazing into Row Z.
James Tomkins is fractionally late on Pajtim Kasami and is booked. Kasami will a need a bit of treatment for that.
Yellow Card James Tomkins
Kieran Richardson goes into the book after a late challenge on Downing. Free kick in a dangerous area for West Ham, which Noble takes. And that is so close to the opening goal as Modibo Maiga's header rattles the post. So unlucky.

TEAM NEWS: Sam Allardyce makes four changes to the side that lost to Chelsea with George McCartney, Mohamed Diame, Matt Jarvis and Modibo Maiga all starting, while Damien Duff, Steve Sidwell and Adel Taarabt make returns to the starting XI for Fulham. Full line-ups coming right up.
The pressure is ratcheting up to unprecedented levels on Fulham boss Martin Jol, who has seen his side lose 14 of their last 20 league outings including their last four. However, the well-travelled Dutchman will know things can change very quickly in football and a win against their London rivals will go a long way towards restoring a measure of confidence within his squad.
West Ham may have only won two games all season but the pressure on manager Sam Allardyce has been mitigated somewhat by the fact he has had to field teams without a recognised striker due to injuries. The excuses are starting to wear thin, however, as the Hammers were booed off the pitch following last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.
