That is all we have got time for here at The Hawthorns. I have been Grant Miles and I look forward to seeing you all next time.
WEST BROM SECURE VICTORY. It is FULL TIME at The Hawthorns. The Baggies win 1-0 against West Ham. How precious this victory could prove to be in their fight for survival remains to be seen but this is a huge coup for Mel and his charges.
FULL TIME: The referee blows the whistle early. The West Brom players look delighted and Pepe Mel fist pumps the air in delight.
West Brom are capitalising on the Hammers desperation to get forward and have completely slowed down the pace of the game. Mel is pacing up and down the touchline, praying this game will end.

West Brom's hero comes off to a standing ovation. Claudio Yacob comes on to see the result home.
FIVE MINUTES OF ADDED TIME: There is a real chance for West Ham to find a winner here. These five minutes will weigh heavily on West Brom's mind.
West Brom have now dropped deep. Berahino is the only man still forwards. They get the chance to go forwards and briefly try to hold it in the corner, before West Ham tackle them and desperately try to hoist the ball up the other end to no avail.
West Brom will be worried at the amount of free kicks they have given away but continue to look dangerous when they push forwards. They have more energy and drive.
FREE KICK: Again Noble puts a ball into the penalty area but nobody is there to make the most of it. It is far too predictable and West Brom are determined to hold on to the result.
There is a nervousness to both teams as they start to realise the implications of this result. The game has become stop start and this will suit the Baggies.
West Brom aren't holding on for the win. THEY WANT THAT SECOND GOAL. Anichebe comes on to try and force the issue.
Jarvis will feel unlucky to have been subbed off but the Hammers are looking to really force a late equaliser with their physical strikers. Mel makes indications to his bench as if he will change the shape of his team accordingly.
Carlton Cole is THE LAST THROW OF THE DICE. The physical striker signed a new contract in January after a brief goal glut. The Hammers would settle for one strike from their talisman at The Hawthorns.
DIRECT DISPLAY: West Ham have become desperate in their attacks. They again hit the ball into the box but can't find a way through. There is real anguish on the faces of the West Ham bench, do they fear for the worst if they lose here? Possibly.
West Brom have won fewer games than any other Premier League side and they are fighting tooth and nail for every ball here to try and get hold of the ball. They are trying to hurry forward whenever they can too. Amalfitano wastes a good counter attacking opportunity and slaps the ground in disgust after he skies a cross out of play.
FINAL 15 MINUTES: The Baggies are edging closer to victory here. GREAT SHOT from Sessegnon on the volley. He fires the ball into the ground and it could have been the vital second goal they have been craving, had he struck it cleanly.
The Hammers really trying to draw on that chance to gain some momentum. Carroll is looking lively again and getting back into the game. Mel looks as cool as you like on the touchline. Sam Allardyce is constantly looking at his watch in disgust as time is running out.
CROSSBAR!!!!! SO SO CLOSE. Andy Carroll fires a header at goal from a corner. He puts all his neck muscles into it, yet it hits the crossbar, which is still shaking.
West Ham know that a seventh defeat in nine would really pile on the pressure and have started to pick up the pace. They simply can't find an answer to breaking down West Brom's organised defence today.
West Ham really looking to find a way back into this and Sam Allarydce has looked to his bench and brought on Joe Cole. The former England international is looking to re-find his former glories here.
Morrison passes the ball to Dorrans. West Brom camp themselves around the West Ham box before a ball is fired at goal. Mulumbu SO NEARLY gets on the end of it.
West Brom are really looking trying to seize the initiative as West Ham are tiring. They force another corner and are piling bodies into the box. The Hammers are penned into their own half.
NEARLY THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN: West Brom seize upon the lowered intensity and drive forward. Berahino gives the ball to Sessegnon who fires a shot straight at Adrian in the box. He should finish that from there.
Sam Allardyce looks tense on the bench as West Brom launch yet another counter attack. The Hammers look weary from their attempts to provide the momentum in this game.
West Ham pass the ball around in triangles in their own half but are looking to launch another assault on the West Brom defence who are holding their ground.
JONES!!!! Morrison gives Billy Jones the ball just outside the box. He FIRES it at Adrian who makes a WORLD CLASS save. He parries it away. He has just kept West Ham in this one.
CARROLL CLIMBS: The England international rises above his marker to head a ball just wide of goal. He is threatening here.
SESSEGNON SURGE: The West Brom striker drives into the West Ham box and laces a ball at goal. He is not too far off scoring. He fired the ball with some ferocity and his intent is nearly rewarded. JUST OVER THE BAR!
CORNER: West Ham force a corner with their aggressive attacking play. Foster sees the telegraphed corner towards the near post from Jarvis traight away and sets Sessegnon on the counter attack.
The Baggies surge up at the other end. There is some football ping pong going on in this game. West Ham then go straight into the Albion half moments later.
West Ham manage to gain a foothold again and Noble gets on the ball. They insist on attempting their direct passing. The ball gets back to Mark Noble who forces a free kick which he spurns and fires straight into the box which Ben Foster easily collect.
CLOSE: The ball is fired in and Adrian beats it away. West Brom have a spell of concerted pressure. West Ham are chasing the game early on.
We are back underway and it is more of the same. West Ham start off with a high tempo. West Brom instantly counter attack and force an early corner.
WEST BROM 1-0 WEST HAM. Had a chance to breath yet? That first half flew by. There was plenty of crunching challenges, West Brom counter attacks, and sensational wing play. Berahino's fine finish separates the two teams at the break but it will be no suprise if this game is turned on it's head in the second half.

Steven Reid's torrid afternoon comes to an end. West Brom change their shape with James Morrison comes on. Chris Brunt switches to full back.
West Brom are strong down the middle, but they have had a serious problems dealing with wingers and the same has applied today.
There is a tactical re-shuffle for West Brom now. It could revive them. They will be extremely worried that they will again suffer late heartbreak. Chris Brunt will be at full back. This will be a real worry.
Steven Reid feels a twinge in his groin and the West Brom defence have been run ragged, yet still maintain their lead. His game will be over.
It has been more Allardyce than Allardici of late but he has never been relegated and his side are certainly playing with more zip and drive today.
WEST HAM THREATEN AGAIN: Jarvis is brimming with confidence. He once again skins his man Steven Reid. It goes to Nolan who fires a volley high and handsome into the stands.
Diame, Noble and Stewart Downing try and find a way through. They have to be patient. West Brom have set up two banks of four. They need to move the defence around. The Hammers earn a free kick for their more inventive passing, but don't make the most of it. Winston Reid's flick on doesn't trouble Foster.
SESSEGNON SHOULD TAKE THIS! He gets half a yard over James Collins and should shoot first time, but gets blocked off. A corner follows which is then cleared by Reid for a 2nd corner kick which Adrian eventually collects.
Noble has time and space. He dinks the ball in the box. Nobody follows his creative vision. He can't pick anyone out and Foster has a goal-kick. West Ham turning the screw but still can't find enough end product here.
Tomkins suffering from his earlier knock comes off for James Collins. Big Sam has become used to injury problems this season particularly with centre halves.
DIAME: He uses his sheer strength to beat two or three players. He fires it over the bar, but he signals his marauding intent.
END TO END. West Ham force a stunning saving from Ben Foster. Diame hammered the ball at his near post. The England shotstopper saved excellently there. Berahino and Dorrans break with blistering pace just seconds after the save. Dorrans opens up and gets a chance to shoot from just outside the area. He should do a lot better there. Very similar to his chance v Man City on Monday.
West Ham are bombarding West Brom. Foster takes a HUGE RISK and rushes out and commits himself to a long ball. He slides in and Foster just there before Jarvis. A corner follows.
Jarvis has Reid ONE ON ONE as the last defender. He just jinks and jives through the West Brom defence but lacks confidence at the crucial moment and is tackled.
The tempo has slowed slightly after a ferocious intensity at the start of the match. This would be a huge three points for West Brom, the supporters will feel like they will have earn't it as they are getting soaked here.
DELIGHTFUL CROSS: Amalfitano fizzes a world class cross into the penalty area. Billy Jones really should have made it 2-0. His diving header narrowly misses the far post. Adrian would have had no chance
SESSEGNON: The West Brom striker rifles the ball at the goal before it is blocked. Selfish play. He has magic in his boots.
Carroll has scored three goals against West Brom and is constantly looking to reach the end of the West Ham diaganol balls to the England international but they are too predictable.
BRILLIANT DEFENDING: James Tomkins stops the lively Berahino making an impact once more with a great headed clearance. He goes off with an injury which looks like a dead leg- temporarily.
FREE KICK: Dorrans fires in a free kick at the target. It never looks like troubling Adrian. But it is another shot on goal. They have thrown away several leads this season and will be wary here.
West Brom counter attack at the other end with blistering pace. Berahino twists and turns and earns a free kick.
SENSATIONAL HEADER: A fierce atmosphere at West ham really look to force the issue. Carroll gets across his marker Reid and Foster makes a remarkable save. Carroll will feel he should have equalised there.
Diame makes another encouraging ball looking for Jarvis. Mark Noble is a sensational passer and West Ham really looking to get a foothold back into the game. Downing looks for Carroll but he Olsson clears it away.
Nolan nearly troubles the keeper with a flick on. West Ham respond positively to going behind. West Brom continue to confidently stroke the ball around confidently. Efficient from West Brom. 1 attempt, 1 goal so far.
Assist Morgan Amalfitano
He leaves Berahino plenty to do, but the Baggies striker makes no mistake and finishes off with aplomb.
Goal Saido Berahino
GOAL: Left footed shot from close range. Berahino applies the finish. WHAT A FINISH IT WAS. He drives the ball into the far corner into the back of the net with plenty of confidence. It was an exceptional break away goal. Just the start Pepe Mel was looking for.

The Hammers are starting to put their stamp down on this game, getting the ball wide and attempting to find targets in the box. One cross from Jarvis comes close to being converted by Carroll.
There are plenty of tussles going on in the middle of the park. It is a real suprise that referee Mike Dean hasn't reached for his pocket with all the audacious challenges flying in. HALF CHANCE! Carroll can't quite get the contact needed from a menacing low cross from Matt Jarvis.
Mulumbu comes back onto the field. He is feeling fine again. There are plenty of challenge flying in here and this game has started at 100mph.
Andy Carroll shoots from a difficult angle on the left. Beautiful set up from Kevin Nolan. Sam Allardyce's men have fought back here. The shot is easily parried away.
INTENSE POSSESSION: Both sides have really engaged early on. There is a fantastic atmosphere in The Hawthorns with the home supporters providing a raucous atmosphere.
Mulumbu needs a spell of treatment on the sidelines following a challenge, but he's good to go now. It's been a highly contested start to the game, with tackles flying in.
LIVELY START: Chris Brunt makes an early impression. He drives a low cross to Berahino before Steven Reid makes a last ditch clearance. West Ham then break at the other end before Olsson WIPES out Carrol and his own teammate Mulumbu.
West Brom have made a lively start here. 88% in the opening spell. No shots on target yet.
ALLARDICI ALERT: It has been reported that Sullivan and Gold have demanded that Sam Allardyce plays a more attractive style of football. £30 million was spent in the summer and January on player accquisitions and the supporters expect more than just results.
PEPE MELT: The West Brom boss has described this fixture as another "cup final". The Baggies are in serious danger of getting caught up in the relegation mire. They have an astonishing propensity to throw away points in the final minutes too.
BREAKING: Saido Berahino starts for West Brom. Only last November he was several top pundits shoe-in for a suprise call up to Roy Hodgson's England World Cup squad in Brazil. He will be happy to get on the scoresheet today, to show his early season promise was no flash in the pan.

Italian striker Marco Borriello still remains in the treatment room with a long standing calf injury, which will mean he is sidelined for the rest of the season. Guy Demel has recovered from a virus to take his place in the matchday squad. Pablo Armero is likely to make way.
TEAM NEWS: West Brom will have to make do without influential centre back Gareth McAuley after he limped off the pitch during Monday's defeat to Man City at The Etihad. Fellow defender Liam Ridgewell misses out too after picking up a knee injury in the same fixture, whilst Scott Sinclair is ineligible to play against his parent club. This leaves the door open for Saido Berahino to make a rare start for West Brom.
I'm Grant Miles and I will be leading you through all the action as both teams will be desperate to secure all three points. Nicolas Anelka took centre stage the last time these two teams met with his Quenelle gesture but he definitely won't be featuring today. Pepe Mel has pinpointed this game as a must win game for West Brom. West Ham won't it easy though and Andy Carrolll will want to illustrate why he deserves a place in the England World Cup squad, today, with chances to do so running out.
Hello and welcome to live Premier League coverage of West Ham's trip to West Brom. The Baggies know that a victory will distance themselves from the relegation fight but have only won one in their last ten Premier League meetings against the Hammers. West Ham too will be looking for a positive display at the Hawthorns having lost six of their last eight Premier League outings. The pressure is really mounting on Sam Allardyce, with speculation circulating that the West Ham supporters are due to submit a petition for Big Sam's removal on Monday morning regardless of the result here.
