Y. Gouffran 9'
So that's it from me at the end of an enjoyable game of football. Newcastle are six points clear of the relegation zone, while West Brom remain on course for a highly respectable Premier League finish. This is Nicholas McGee, signing off!
A late corner comes to nought for West Brom and the referee duly blows for full-time. Newcastle earn a vital point in their fight against the drop. They took the lead through Yoan Gouffran but were forced to hold on after Billy Jones levelled for the Baggies.

Newcastle kill some time as Dan Gosling replaces Yohan Cabaye.
90' + 3'
Yellow Card Moussa Sissoko
90' + 3'
A lack of communication sees Newcastle concede another corner, but they again clear their lines. Rob Elliot has had a difficult afternoon.
90' + 1'
There will be four minutes of added time.
The corner comes to nothing. Newcastle, to their credit, have defended well since conceding.
West Brom win a corner, can they find a late winner.
Yellow Card Yohan Cabaye
Five minutes to play and Newcastle are starting to retain the ball a little better. Neither side looks like adding a second though.
Almost a chance for West Brom as Long just misses out on connecting with an excellent far post ball from Lukaku.
Not much in terms of atmosphere at the moment, this one looks to be meandering towards a draw.
Hatem Ben Arfa
Hatem Ben Arfa is readying himself on the sidelines, can he win it for Newcastle?
The game has died down a little in the last few minutes. A point would be OK for Newcastle but there is time for a twist in tale.
Gareth McAuley heads wide from a far post after Elliot failed to control a Yanga-Mbiwa backpass, Newcastle are all over the place.
Alan Pardew makes his first change as Shola Ameobi replaces Yoan Gouffran.
Newcastle have been very poor since the second half and almost fall behind as Elliot tips over from a Morrison header.
Assist Romelu Lukaku
Goal Billy Jones
I told you Newcastle may live to regret those chances they missed in the first half, and now they most certainly do as Billy Jones draws Albion level, slotting home after a neat link-up with Lukaku. Game on.
Newcastle look to have weathered the storm as we go past the hour mark. They have 30 minutes to secure the points, but they may still need another goal to do so.
Newcastle can barely get a foothold in this half, James Morrison hits a decent effort wide and Alan Pardew must be quite worried.
The half-time change has really had an impact, West Brom are in command and are pushing hard for a leveller.
Another chance for the West Brom as Lukaku heads against the bar from a corner. Newcastle haven't settled in the second period.
The resulting corner falls to nothing, but an early second-half scare for the visitors.
Almost an instant impact from Shane Long as Rob Elliot fumbles a Marc-Antoine Fortune shot into his path, however the keeper makes amends for that error, denying the striker from close range.
The second half is underway with one change for the hosts, Shane Long on for Claudio Yacob.
Half-Time and after that moment of contention West Brom will feel very aggrieved not to be at level, however Newcastle certainly deserve their lead, which was given to them through Gouffran's eighth-minute header. The Magpies have dictated the game and could be further ahead if not for some startling displays of profligacy.
45' + 3'
Real controversy as James Perch appears to foul Billy Jones inside the box but the referee bewildering gives a free kick, The resulting set-piece comes to nothing but the hosts feel severely hard done by.
45' + 1'
There will be two minutes of added time.
The first half looks to be petering out to its conclusion. Newcastle are keeping possession well and have been good value for their lead.
Newcastle look a completely different team to last week, pressing high, they are making life uncomfortable for West Brom.
Will Newcastle live to rue all these missed chances, the Magpies are in complete control but as long as their advantage stays at one West Brom are still in this game.
What a miss from Papiss Cisse! Horrendous defending from Jonas Olsson, who plays the ball straight into the path of the Senegal international, however the Newcastle number nine fluffs his line, dinking an effort over the bar with only Foster to beat.
A bit of a break in play here as Gouffran receives treatment following an aerial collision with Billy Jones.
First opportunity for West Brom as Jonas Olsson heads over from a corner.
A distinct lack of attacking edge from West Brom so far today, Steve Clarke will be very disappointed with his troops at the moment.
Two big chances for Newcastle, first Steven Taylor finds himself through on goal and forces Foster into a smart save. Cabaye hits a vicious volley from the resulting corner, but Foster is again equal to the strike.
Billy Jones is reprimanded by the referee as he catches Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa with a stray elbow.
Newcastle coming under more pressure here, but the hosts have yet to create any clear cut chances. Alan Pardew will be very satisfied at the moment.
The game has calmed down somewhat in the past few minutes, Newcastle - now they have the advantage - seem happy enough to allow West Brom to control possession.
Frustration appears to be creeping in among the home fans. West Brom have yet to get going and for that you have to credit the visitors. Still the Baggies have a big goal threat in Lukaku and Newcastle will have to be extremely vigilant in defence.
Almost a second for Newcastle as Cabaye shoots from 30 yards out, his effort flies just over the bar and the Magpies look good in the early going.
Assist Papiss Cissé
Goal Yoan Gouffran
We have the opening goal and it's Newcastle who take the lead with the first effort of the game, Yohan Cabaye plays a slick pass into Papiss Cisse who finds space before playing a good cross into Yoan Gouffran, who beats Ben Foster with a glancing header.
Both fans making lots of noise in the early going, unfortunately those playing on the pitch have yet to react with anything of any real note.
A slow start to proceedings here, not much to report so far.
West Brom get the game underway!
We're just minutes away from kick-off on a big afternoon for both teams, West Brom will be looking to round off a strong season, and will hope for better luck than they received at St James' Park earlier in the season, when a late Papiss Cisse goal gave Newcastle the points.
So can Newcastle recover from their Tyne-Wear derby defeat at the hands of Sunderland? The Magpies have only lost once in their last six games at The Hawthorns and will be hoping for another positive result today to ease their relegation worries.
Three changes for West Brom then, with Goran Popov, Marc-Antoine Fortune and Romelu Lukaku in for Liam Ridgewell, Jerome Thomas and Shane Long. James Perch and Massadio Haidara replace the injured Cheikh Tiote and Sylvain Marveaux for Newcastle.
Newcastle: Elliot; Debuchy, S.Taylor, Yanga-Mbiwa, Haidara; Perch, Cabaye; Gouffran, Sissoko, Gutierrez; Cisse. Subs: Harper, Williamson, Anita, Gosling, Ben Arfa, Campbell, Shola Ameobi.
West Brom: Foster; Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Popov; Dorrans, Yacob, Morrison, Brunt; Fortune, Lukaku. Subs: Myhill, Roofe, Rosenberg, Reid, Long, Ridgewell, Thomas.
We start with the two team line-ups...
