  • So West Ham go up to 15th, a season high, and Spurs three-game winless streak sees them stay 5th but they could be five points adrift of the desired fourth place come Sunday night.
  • And the referee blows for full-time! Defintely a frustrating point for Spurs who had enough chances to win this game three times over. West Ham will be delighted with the point, thoroughly deserved for their defensive display.
  • 90' + 4'
That may have been the final chance for Spurs as Modric tries his luck from 25 yards, it sails over.
  • 90' + 2'
Pavlyuchenko thinks he has a sight of goal from the edge of the area but within seconds he has five West Ham defenders around him. Same story all game. Brilliant defensive performance from the relegation threatened side.
  • 90' + 1'
Into stoppage time now and we will have four minutes.
  • 90'
Another great ball from Payluchenko as he flicks it into the area for Defoe to run onto, he seems odds-on to score but Upson gets a foot in just as he is about to strike. That was Spurs' 22nd attempt on goal this afternoon.
  • 89'
Nothing going Defoe's way today. Pavlyuchenko spots Defoe diagonal run and he is fed in superbly by the Russian but Defoe gets the shot all wrong and it sails over the bar.
  • 87'
When these two met back in September, Green was in fantastic form then too to help West Ham to their first league win of the season. He must love playing against Spurs by the looks of things.
  • 86'
What a save by Green! Bale's freekick is sublime as it flies up and over the wall before dipping just underneath the bar but Green is there to palm it onto the bar.
  • 85'
Upson again involved as he hauls down the tricky Modric on the edge of the area. Bale is standing over it... five minutes to go now, it would be a fantastic time to score...
  • 84'
The first mistake of the afternoon by Bridge nearly lets Spurs in as Lennon nips in after the left-back misses a header. Luckily for West Ham Upson is there to clear the attempted cross towards Defoe.
  • 83'
Fantastic interception from Upson as Defoe looked to play Lennon through on goal. He's been great at the back today.
  • 81'
A great turn by Pavlyuchenko sees him nutmeg Da Costa and find space to have a drive from 25 yards that stings Green's hands. He possibly could take taken the ball further before shooting to be fair but a strong drive nonetheless.
  • 78'
    Substitution Carlton Cole Victor Obinna
  • 78'
    Substitution Vedran Corluka Alan Hutton
  • 78'
West Ham change their attack as Obinna comes on for Cole.
  • 75'
Bale tries his luck against Bridge but takes a heavy touch and the left-back claims the ball before the Welshman tries a shot after another Spurs attack that hits the ground before bouncing over Green's goal.
  • 72'
Substitution Rafael van der Vaart Roman Pavlyuchenko
  • 72'
And here is that change. Pavlyuchenko comes on for Van der Vaart.
  • 71'
Great opening for West Ham as Spurs are all at sea for once. Ba does well to play in Cole and the big man does what he does well and holds the ball up to find Noble free on the edge of the area. The younster's first touch is to dummy it past Dawson but his attempt at goal is all wrong and jeers surround White Hart Lane.
  • 70'
Brilliant defending from Bridge as Defoe looks to be striding clear for a one-on-one by the experienced left-back tracks him all the way to stop the striker getting a shot away as he entered the area.
  • 69'
Redknapp obviously hears my calls for a change as Pavlyuchenko is ready to come on.
  • 68'
    Yellow Card Matthew Upson
  • 67'
Here's an interesting stat for you guys, despite Spurs dominance both the home and away side have had 5 shots on target each. West Ham obviously taking advantage when they get the chance.
  • 65'
But Gomes to deemed to have been fouled and Spurs get a freekick inside their own area. It's still 59% possession in Spurs favour.
  • 64'
Modric again with a shot at goal after Lennon's cutback but Da Costa gets a touch to it and takes the sting out of it for Green to collect comfortably. West Ham go straight upfield and Ba nearly breaks the deadlock with a brilliant drive! Gomes palms away for a corner...
  • 63'
I think Spurs need a change, two up front perhaps as they are starting to run out of ideas as West Ham continue to hold strong.
  • 61'
West Ham enjoying a good spell now as Parker tries to pull the strings. They win a throw-in but Spurs win the ball back immediately and rush upfield only for Corluka to shank a cross straight out of play.
  • 59'
    But it comes to nothing.
  • 58'
...and he's going to be fine. Back to the action and its Spurs working yet another attack again...
  • 57'
    Yellow Card Carlton Cole
  • 56'
Sandro is down after a nasty challenge by Cole, it was purely accidental though. He probably wants to throw up even more now.
  • 55'
It's not Defoe's day today. Bale skips free of Ba, who was nipping at his heels to play at great ball forward to Defoe but instead of storming ahead himself he tries to cut back and pace across the face of the area. Parker gets the foot in to clear.
  • 52'
More great defending from West Ham as first Modric, then Van der Vaart, then Defoe and finally Bale are all denied by Da Costa and Upson. They are just shutting the door in Spurs' face at the moment but you get the feeling that if/when Spurs get the first, they will go on to get more.
  • 50'
    Yellow Card Mark Noble
  • 50'
Deary, deary me. How has Defoe not scored?! Robert Green, that's how. Modric gets behind Bridge to the byline and plays the simpliest of balls for Defoe to spin four yards out and shoot but Green gets a vital legs out and diverts it away. Brilliant reaction save.
  • 49'
Modric and Bale combine on the left and as Bale tries to centre the ball for Defoe a big yelp comes from the Welshman and replays show that Noble went slightly studs up with a last ditch challenge. The freekick is taken but West Ham clear.
  • 48'
West Ham centre-back Da Costa looks to be struggling a little bit, could be the subject of an early chance. Confirmation if/when that happens of course.
  • 47'
Strong start from the Hammers. Cole gets the better of Assou-Ekotto down the right flank and he tests Gomes with a great crack at goal.
  • 46'
West Ham get us back underway as Sky Sports show us images of Sandro throwing up his breakfast. Lovely.
  • Coming up to the start of the second half. Spurs were thoroughly on top throughout, but West Ham started getting more and more involved as the game wore on. Will Spurs rue those missed chances come full-time?
  • 45' + 1'
The one minutes of added time is nearly up but Modric gets the chance for yet another shot at goal... and the referee has seen enough and it's half-time.
  • 45'
    Yellow Card Scott Parker
  • 45'
Parker brings down Van der Vaart about 30 yards out and gets a booking for his troubles. The Dutchman takes the freekick himself but it's straight at Green. Easy-peasy.
  • 44'
As the first half nears into conclusion the away side are growing with confidence and are now playing on the counter attack. Spurs need to be careful.
  • 42'
A great, yet simple, turn by Ba takes out three Spurs players and the forward storms in on goal, only to be met by Sandro. Wet Ham win a corner but Spurs clear.
  • 39'
Off the post from Lennon! The winger, who has swapped flanks with Bale is given too much space by Jacobsen and he simply cuts inside and has a low effort that curls around Green and onto the post. The rebound comes out to Defoe but the striker isn't ready and can only divert the ball past the post. A whisker away from a goal there and Defoe has his head in his hands as his wait for his 100th Spurs goal continues...
  • 37'
West Ham win a freekick but it's cleared at the first opportunity by Dawson. Van der Vaart appears to use his arm to bring the headed clearance down but no-one on the pitch sees it, so he continues to charge upfield for Bale to have a low effort at goal that Green gathers with ease.
  • 35'
Modric is everywhere today as they try to build another attack. The Croatian again find space in the centre of the pitch but after multiple exchanges of passes between Van der Vaart, himself and Defoe, the latter is called offside and it's back to square one.
  • 33'
No respite for West Ham still as Defoe does well down the middle before cutting the ball back for Modric to cut into the area and try a drive across the face of goal, it flashes inches wide of the far post. Half a yard the other way and that was 1-0.
  • 31'
Despite their dominance and the continual exposure of Lennon down the right, Bridge is performing well against the speedy winger.
  • 29'
As Spurs try and work another move down the right, Corluka again over hits a pass to give the ball back to West Ham. Luckily for him they don't get too far without giving the ball back.
  • 27'
Great great play from Defoe who picks up the ball in the centre of the park and skips around Noble twice as if he isn't there, the younster doesn't like that and takes the striker down from behind to concede a freekick that Corluka wastes with not the first mis-placed pass of the game. Spurs fans groan.
  • 25'
Corluka, Modric and Lennon combine on the right-hand side of the area as they try and find a way through the West Ham defence but kind of run themselves into a corner. They win a corner off Parker eventually but it comes to nothing.
  • 22'
Yet another chance for Spurs as Van der Vaart spots Defoe's trademark late run into the area and tries to put the ball on a plate for him, which he nearly does but Defoe is stretching too much and cannot get enough on the ball and Green clears up.
  • 21'
Spurs boasting 60% possession here. They really should be at least 1-0 up.
  • 19'
Great chance for West Ham! Demba Ba does great to hold off Sandro in the centre of the park and plays a great through ball that takes Dawson out of action and plays in Cole. Unfortunately the Englishman's second tame effort of the afternoon is straight at Gomes. That really should have been 1-0.
  • 18'
Bale, Modric and Defoe combine well yet again to win Spurs another corner. The Croatian plays it quickly and again West Ham arn't paying attention as Van der Vaart lashes a low volleyed effort just past the near post. Unlucky for Spurs again.
  • 16'
Another real chance for Spurs as they take advantage of some really slack defending from West Ham. Lennon takes the corner and plays it short to Modric who is allowed to turn and run into space on the corner of the area and have a shot. Luckily for Green and company it sails about 3 yards wide of the opposite post. That kind of defending is why the away side are where they are in the table.
  • 13'
Great play between Assou-Ekotto, Modric and Van der Vaart sees West Ham have rings run around them. Parker gets frustrated and kicks out at the aforementioned Dutchman to concede a freekick. It's 30 or so yards out and he gets himself to send it in but Da Costa heads clear before Dawson can get any contact.
  • 11'
Carlton Cole with a glimmer of the Spurs goal, when perhaps he should have passed it out wide, and his tame effort is straight at Gomes.
  • 10'
It's all Spurs here and they look in the mood to score goals, goals, goals. West Ham, who class Spurs as their arch rivals, are looking very nervous.
  • 8'
With the current focus on Bale, don't forget about Lennon on the right flank. He does brilliantly well to get to the byline and send in a great cross that Defoe's volleyed attempt just escapes. The ball flies to the edge of the area for Sandro to have an effort that Da Costa blocks for a corner. Lennon volleys over.
  • 6'
More pressure from Spurs and it stems from Bale again. This time he makes his own way down the left flank, turns back on himself quickly before sending a low ball across the area for Defoe to flick towards goal. Green is scrambling but the shot flies just the wrong side of the post.
  • 4'
OFF THE BAR FROM DAWSON!! Big cheers from the Spurs fans as Bale gets on the ball for the first time. The winger plays it out wide to Modric who puts his foot on the ball and finds centre-back Dawson, of all people, on the edge of the area and with two touches the Englishman curls a beautiful effort off the bar! That would have been absolutely delicious!
  • 2'
Noble tries to make headway through the middle of the pitch but is undone by Sandro. The Brazilian plays a simple ball to Modric and the Croatian storms 40 yards up the pitch looking to release Defoe, only to be snuffed out by Parker.
  • 1'
    And Tottenham get us underway!
  • We are mere, mere moments away from kick-off. London derby time! Spurs need a win to keep the pressure on Chelsea and Man City in the race for fourth place, while West Ham, looking for their first win at White Hart Lane in 10 years, are hoping to make it three wins on the bounce and start climbing away from the relegation zone.
  • For West Ham, their last outing was the FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Stoke. Three changes are made with Lars Jacobsen preferred to James Tomkins at right-back, Gary O'Neill in for Victor Obinna on the right of midfield and the impressive Demba Ba deputises for Frederic Piquionne in attack.
  • Redknapp makes two changes from the side who secured that vital 0-0 draw with AC Milan. Gareth Bale makes his first start since 22nd January, after recovering from a back injury, and takes Steven Pienaar's place on the left wing and Jermain Defoe comes in for Peter Crouch.
  • Green; Jacobsen, da Costa, Upson, Bridge; O'Neil, Parker, Hitzlsperger, Noble; Cole, Ba. Subs: Boffin, Gabbidon, Tomkins, Boa Morte, Sears, Hines, Obinna.
  • First things first, the all important team news... First up Spurs: Gomes; Corluka, Gallas, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Sandro, Modric, Bale; Van der Vaart; Defoe. Subs: Pletikosa, Hutton, Jenas, Pavlyuchenko, Crouch, Bassong, Kranjcar.
