I hope you have enjoyed the action today. I'm sure any Celtic fans stopped reading a long time ago, so the rest of you probably enjoyed this veritable goal feast. Thank you for joining me. Farewell until next time.
Celtic were not quite able to pick up a morale-boosting result against Spurs today as they prepare for their Champions League qualifier second-leg against Legia Warsaw. The Premier League side's class shone through right from the start and Celtic put in a fairly embarrassing performance, with Spurs running riot and claiming a 6-1 victory. Pochettino will likely be left ruing the decision to play the Scottish champions, as they did not put up much of a fight or give his men any kind of test.

Balde is in a bit of pain now following an aerial clash with Kaboul, but he will have plenty of time to receive medical treatment now as the referee blows his whistle to end the match.
90' + 2'
RED CARD! Ambrose, who has had an absolute nightmare today, has received his second sending off in four days. The Nigerian hacked down Adebayor on the right flank and he gets his second yellow card.
90' + 1'
There will be four minutes of stoppage time.
GOAL!!! Spurs get the sixth as Adebayor steps up to take the penalty and, in leisurely fashion, strikes the spot-kick in off the right-hand post.
PENALTY TO SPURS! Rose shows great positivity to race on to a throughball played into the area and, after racing past Ambrose, the clumsy Nigerian hauls him down.
Spurs are passing Celtic to deatch at the moment. The Scottish side simply cannot contain their dynamic movement in attack, or their clever link-up play around the area.
SPURS ALMOST GET A SIXTH! Lennon does very well in the left side of the Celtic area and squeezes a cross into the danger zone for Adebayor, but the Togolese forward can only strike the post.
GOAL!!! ERIKSEN GETS IN ON THE ACT! The Danish midfielder stands over the free-kick and coolly floats his effort over the wall, finding the top-left corner in style.
Eriksen slips a nice pass into Adebayor on the edge of the area and, after a clever first-touch and turn by the forward, Ambrose is forced to bring him down, picking up a yellow card for his troubles.
Virtually the entire of this second half has been played in the Celtic half. The Scottish side have not created any noteworthy chances and I can't even remember Friedel touching the ball since the break.
Celtic make another change. Lindsay's day is over and he is replaced by Fridjonsson.
Adebayor has a sniff of another chance now, this time rising to meet a cross from the right flank, but he nods the ball back across the face of goal, rather than on target.
Spurs almost make it 5-1 from the corner as Sandro meets the delivery at the near post, but his flick-on is grasped by Gordon.
Ambrose makes an important interception as Adebayor latches on to a bouncing ball. The Togolese forward looks set to pull the trigger, but the Celtic man pokes the ball behind for a corner.
We are back underway and Celtic have made another change, bringing Waters on for Twardzik.
We are now having a second drinks break as the two sets of players take on fluids.
If substitutions hadn't caused enough problems to the flow of this match, here come a couple more. Fredericks is on for Naughton, while Sandro replaces Capoue.
Celtic are enjoying a spell of possession in their own half, but they look so short of ideas on the ball. They are aimlessly knocking it about until the ball goes out of play. This has just been so easy for Spurs.
Spurs' corner is almost immediately knocked behind for another, but they don't get so lucky from the second. Nevertheless, Rose manages to get on the end of the clearance and tees Adebayor up, but his eventual shot is curled well over.
This time Lennon appears in a central position and feeds Rose into the left side of the Celtic area. The wing-back's first-time cross is a good one, but it is cleared behind for a corner.
Spurs try to craft another attack down the left flank, but Rose's pass into the Celtic right-back area is easily cut out and Lennon is unable to latch on to it.
GOAL!!! Well, things may have become fairly watered down since the break, but Spurs have opened up a three-goal lead. Lamela cut in from the right and, after being invited into space, he struck a left-footed shot from 25 yards and his effort was deflected past Gordon.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the host of subs have had a very bad effect on this match, with their being no obvious flow to proceedings.
Spurs are seeing lots of the ball in the Celtic half at the moment, but they aren't doing much with it. Pochettino's men are probing and continuously floating lofted pass around from flank to flank.
The first 10 minutes of this second half have not been particularly impressive. At least from Celtic's perspective, though, they are not looking that threatened or too troubled by the new-look Spurs attack.
This second half has been mostly played in the midfield, but Spurs do get themselves moving down the left eventually. Lamela finds space in the final third and plays the ball into the area, but Celtic clear with ease.
Speaking of Celtic subs; here come their first pair. Pukki, who was captaining the side in his home country, is replaced by Balde and Waters replaces Irvine.
Celtic, meanwhile, have not made any changes yet as their inexperienced side remains the same as it was in the first period.
Spurs have made a number of changes at the break. Rose, Lennon, Eriksen, Lamela and Adebayor are all on. Davies, Mason, Holtby, Kane, Townsend and Soldado depart.
The two side are ready to go and the Spurs start the second half.
We can no doubt expect a host of changes from Spurs over the course of the full match, perhaps giving Celtic a chance of capitalising on some unfamiliarity or rustiness. Nevertheless, the Scottish side need to do a lot better if they are to give themselves something of a confidence boost ahead of their crucial Champions League qualifier second-leg against Legia Warsaw.
The referee suspends Celtic's misery as he calls an end to the first half. It has been so easy for Spurs and they could quite easily be four goals ahead of their opponents, rather than just two. Celtic had pulled themselves back into the contest with Lindsay's header, but Holtby restored the two-goal cushion initially created by Kane and Soldado.
45' + 4'
45' + 3'
GOAL!!! SPURS RESTORE THE TWO-GOAL LEAD! Townsend initially causes problems down the left, but Spurs are forced to work the ball back out of the area. Naughton runs on to the pass and shapes to shoot, taking it past a Celtic defender before slipping Holtby into the danger area. The German takes a touch and coolly slots past Gordon.
45' + 1'
There will be four minutes of stoppage time.
GOAL!!! CELTIC PULL ONE BACK! McGeouch does well against Naughton as he twists and turns, and then gets a shot away. Friedel saves the deflected shot with his foot, but the Celtic midfielder pounces again and crosses into the area. Lindsay gets a header away and, despite the goalkeeper's best efforts, puts the ball over the line.
Celtic at least appear to be ending this first half with an attempt at forcing Friedel into work. They are trying to attack Spurs down the flanks as half-time approaches.
Well, there is a half-chance for Spurs. Soldado manages to find space in the area and Celtic to little to counter him. The Spaniard makes his way down towards the byline and then cuts a pass back to Kane, but a deflection takes the sting out of the England Under-21 international's shot, with Gordon clutching gratefully.
The first half is seemingly petering out here. There has been little goalmouth action in the past 10 minutes or so, and neither side is playing with a great deal of urgency, as the ball effectively gets continuously transferred between the two midfields.
Henderson steps up to take the free-kick, but his attempt is dreadful. Instead of crossing into the area, the midfielder went for goal and put his effort well wide of the bottom-left corner.
McGeouch brings the ball forward in the inside-left channel and he is tripped by Kaboul about 30 yards from goal, giving Celtic a rare opportunity to get the ball into the box.
Celtic are coping a little better at the back currently, but they still don't appear any more confident or composed when actually on the ball themselves. Ambrose briefly shows some ability on the ball as he skips past a challenge at the back, but he swiftly gives possession straight back to Spurs.
We are back underway following that momentary break.
We are now having a brief break as the two sets of players take on some fluids.
Celtic get themselves a corner as they attack down the right and see a cross deflected behind, but the set-piece is ultimately wasted, with Spurs clearing easily.
Pochettino's men are enjoying themselves down the flanks and again they get lucky as Holtby crosses low into the area, but Gordon is able to just about beat Kane to the ball.
Celtic are struggling to even register a meaningful touch of the ball in the Spurs half at the moment, let alone creating chances. Every time they finally get the ball, Spurs are so quick to crowd them out.
Decent chance for Spurs as Davies attacks down the left. He passes the ball inside for Townsend, who pokes it through to Kane on the edge of the area. His eventual shot is deflected just over, much to the relief of Gordon.
Spurs are playing some very eye-catching football here at times. Once again Pochettino's men manage to play their way out of danger and the back, letting the ball do all the work as they passed the Celtic forwards into submission.
Spurs' first real problem of the day is not caused by Celtic, but rather Dawson. The centre-back has been forced off with an injury, but it didn't look immediately obvious what the problem actually is. Fryers takes his place.
Another Spurs opportunity appears to be opening up now. Townsend is given acres of space on the left and he runs into the area. The winger tries to produce a stepover to beat his man, but he leaves the ball behind.
Celtic look all at sea here. They lost 4-1 to Legia Warsaw in their first Champions League qualifier during the week and they don't appear to be putting up much more of a fight here at the moment.
Pochettino's men almost get a third as Holtby crosses in from the right and Soldado rises to meet it with a header, but he sends his effort just wide of the left-hand post.
GOAL!!! SPURS DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! Holtby made the most of a ricochet on the edge of the area and, after racing through on goal, he nudged a pass to his left and Soldado found the net, despite seeing his initial effort saved by Gordon.
More good link-up play from Spurs as Naughton manages to play his way out of danger in the right-back area. He plays a one-two with Holtby, before giving the ball back to the German. The midfielder cuts in from the right and tries to slip a pass through for Soldado, but it is just about cut out by Celtic.
Lovely feet from Townsend as he cleverly spins away from his marker out on the left and, although he is blocked off just a couple of seconds later, he keeps Spurs on the ball with a chipped pass back to Davies. The England winger is looking good so far.
Celtic had started the match well and looked threatening on the ball, but Spurs have enjoyed another good spell of possession since taking the lead.
GOAL!!! Spurs take the lead! Townsend does brilliantly down the left as he breezes past a couple of players and, after pulling a pass back towards the edge of the area, Kane takes a touch and fires an emphatic finish into the top-left corner.
Spurs are quickly on the attack themselves and after producing some intricate one-touch football, they effectively run into a wall as Celtic crowd the attackers out.
Encouraging start by Celtic as they make ground down the left and Henderson chips the ball into the danger area following Pukki's backheel, but Spurs clear.
We're off. Celtic start the action off.
The two sides are now making their way on to the pitch as we enter the final five minutes before kick-off.
Mauricio Pochettino has named a fairly strong team in Helsinki today, with the likes of Younes Kaboul, Ben Davies, Etienne Capoue and Andros Townsend all starting. They also have plenty of ability on the bench as well, with Sandro, Emmanuel Adebayor and Erik Lamela among those present.
Celtic subs: Fasan, Waters, McManus, McIlduff, Tierney, Balde, Fridjonsson.
Celtic starting XI: Gordon; Herron, O'Connell, Ambrose, Twardzik; Lindsay, Irvine, Henderson; McGeouch, Pukki, McMullan.
Spurs subs: McGee, Fredericks, Fryers, Rose, Veljkovic, Bentaleb, Eriksen, Lamela, Lennon, Sandro, Adebayor.
Spurs starting XI: Friedel; Naughton, Dawson, Kaboul, Davies; Mason, Capoue; Holtby, Kane, Townsend; Soldado.
