  • Take care folks, it's been a pleasure. Bye for now.
  • A breathless end to a breathless game. After all that has happened, you can't really begrudge either side a point, although 10-man Inter were so, so close to the points that would have seen them into fourth place. As it is, the Nerazzurri are in fifth, while Torino move into the top half of the table.
  • 90' + 4'
    Full time!
  • 90' + 3'
Torino have a good chance to steal it, as Cerci makes yet another excellent run down the right, and squares to Immobile completely unmarked, who slices his volley badly. So bad, in fact, that it hits Cerci on the right again, and prompts an offside call.
  • 90' + 2'
Is there a final twist in this extraordinary tale? We're into the second of three allotted minutes, and Inter are shell shocked. They still have some wok to do though.. .
  • 90'
    Goal Nicola Bellomo
Taking charge of a free kick on the right flank, Bellomo whips the ball in towards the far post. Carrizo completely misjudges it, and does not even make an attempt to save it as the ball sails over his head and into the back of the net!
  • 90'
  • 90'
Bellomo finally gets some breathing space in attack, angling a powerful shot in towards the top corner, but misses his target by about a foot. Not too far away, that one.
  • 89'
Some real backs to the wall defending from the visitors, who have all nine of their outfield players camped on the edge of the box.
  • 87'
Good play from Belfodil and Wallace on the right see Inter win a valuable free kick, that allows them to breathe, and milk the clock some.
  • 85'
It's all hands on deck for Inter in defence, as Torino pile forward for the final stretch of the game.
  • 83'
Poor from Cerci. After much buildup and anticipation, he bends the ball far over the crossbar. How must he be feeling now after hitting the post and missing a penalty early on.
  • 82'
Cambiasso has to be careful, going in hard on Brighi at the edge of the box. The Argentine has already been booked, but this time, it's only a free kick, albeit in a good position.
  • 81'
    SubstitutionMatteo Brighi Nicola Bellomo
  • 81'
Palacio putting in work again, hacking clear the resulting corner to put Inter back on the front foot.
  • 80'
    SubstitutionRodrigo Palacio Wallace
  • 80'
    Yellow Card Ciro Immobile
  • 80'
Cerci tries to fool everyone with an arrowed free kick low toward the near post, but Palacio is there to help out in defence, and clears for a corner.
  • 79'
Cambiasso sees a yellow card after bringing down Cerci on the right flank. Dangerous tackle, and dangerous free kick for the home side.
  • 78'
    Yellow Card Esteban Cambiasso
  • 77'
Belfodil has been very impressive since coming on, freshening up a slowly fatiguing Inter outfit. His play on the right, apart from his assist, has been crucial in relieving the pressure.
  • 75'
    SubstitutionPaulo Vitor Barreto Riccardo Meggiorini
  • 75'
Ventura prepares to shuffle his pack with a few substitutions as Cerci sprints down the left and delivers a cross at a good height that no one in red is able to meet.
  • 73'
Torino only have themselves to blame, as they now chase the game. They've allowed the 10-man opposition to score three times, and have not taken their own chances. All credit to Inter though, gutsy, committed, and clinical when it mattered most.
  • 71'
    Assist Ishak Belfodil
  • 71'
    Goal Rodrigo Palacio
I said that they looked sprightly, and my goodness have they made it count! On a rare attack, Belfodil makes the most of his fresh legs to push down the right, past Moretti, and square to Palacio, who taps in from close range!
  • 71'
  • 70'
Twenty minutes to go, and still no sign of any of these two sides making the breakthrough once again. However, Inter look sprightly for a side with 10 men.
  • 68'
Belfodil with a tireless run down the right hand side, but Moretti is right on him, and after a tussle, wins the ball well in the end. The substitute appeals for a free kick, but no dice.
  • 66'
The game, quite frankly, has slowed down to a glacial pace, with Torino patiently circling around Inter, who are holding their ranks. In need of something special to break the deadlock.
  • 64'
Gazzi with a long range stinger that whacks one of his own players right in the head. It looks like Barreto who has taken the punishment, and he stays down for just a second to recover his bearings.
  • 62'
Immobile has been anything but since his arrival, moving well on the left flank and making a nuisance of himself against his opposition full back.
  • 61'
    SubstitutionSaphir Taider Ishak Belfodil
  • 60'
Carrizo does well to control a potentially tricky back pass from Jonathan. Meanwhile, word is that Inter are about to make a change.
  • 58'
A few howls of frustration and annoyance coming down from the Stadio Olimpico stands. Their team should be out of sight, not slogging along with 2-2 draw against a 10-man team.
  • 56'
What a back and forth contest, and Cerci nearly puts another goal on a plate with a driving run and low cross that just misses a teammate.
  • 55'
    Goal Rodrigo Palacio
Taider whips in a cross towards the six yard box, and for the second time. Padelli is beaten in the air. Guarin flicks the ball ahead of the keeper, and Palacio neatly heads home the rebound!
  • 55'
  • 53'
    Goal Ciro Immobile
Excellent play from Cerci, and poor defending from Nagatomo. The full back is caught out of position by the forward, who drives towards the byeline, cuts inside and sees a shot blocked. Immobile is right on the rebound, angling a fine finish into the far side!
  • 53'
No matter, because Immobile scores on the next play!
  • 52'
Nearly another slick Torino goal! Barreto does well to hold the ball up on the near side and lay off to Pasquale, who immediately drills the ball in for Immobile, who sends his finish over the bar!
  • 52'
Torino controlling play comfortably at the beginning of the second half. Inter are finding it hard to advance out of their own half.
  • 50'
Farnerud has surprisingly been withdrawn early in the second half, suspicions of an injury for the goalscorer. Immobile comes on in his stead.
  • 49'
    SubstitutionAlexander Farnerud Ciro Immobile
  • 48'
Prime opportunity for Torino to end their 19 year wait for a win against the Nerazzurri tonight. No excuses, really, if they don't take it.
  • 46'
    Inter get us started again.
  • Quite an absorbing game of football on show at Stadio Olimpico! Handanovic shot his side in the foot by conceding a penalty and getting himself sent off in the process, but replacement Carrizo saved Cerci's penalty. Torino would soon be in front though, through Farnerud, but Guarin brought 10-man Inter level on the stroke of the interval. The second half is set up nicely, so stay tuned!
  • 45' + 3'
    Half time!
  • 45' + 2'
Brilliant from Guarin, and a lifeline at the perfect time, just before the break.
  • 45' + 1'
    Goal F. Guarín
What a goal from Guarin! From a corner, Ranocchia wins a strong header ahead of the goalkeeper Padelli, and Guarin is on the high ball, flashing a lovely overhead kick into the back of the net!
  • 45' + 1'
  • 45' + 1'
And we're into the first of a surprisingly low two minutes of additional time to end the period.
  • 45'
You'd have to imagine a fair chunk of time added on after the drama of the opening minutes!
  • 44'
Torino get careless with the ball in their own half, and Cambiasso nearly steals the ball in a very dangerous position on the edge of the box. The hosts, however, recover through Darmian.
  • 42'
Torino regaining some semblance of control as the first half draws to a close. Pasquale gets an excellent cross into the box, and Cerci is moving dangerously, but Ranocchia is positioned perfectly, leaping into the air to head clear with authority.
  • 40'
Inter are enjoying a solid spell in the opposition half, but are incredibly wasteful whenever they get into shooting range. Guarin, so promising early on, drills a long range piledriver into orbit.
  • 38'
Inter with YET ANOTHER free kick, this one a bit farther out. Cambiasso again takes it, playing it short to Palacio, who cannot get a cross in from the right byeline. Three opportunities, three wastes from Cambiasso and Inter.
  • 37'
    Yellow Card Alexander Farnerud
  • 36'
The Argentine plays it short to Jonathan, who whips in a cross first time towards the far post, where Vives clambers over Palacio to clear the danger. Very hard to award a penalty there, despite Palacio appearing to be impeded somewhat.
  • 35'
Inter win another set piece in an identical position. Cambiasso is on it again, let's see if he can fashion a better ball into the box.
  • 33'
Inter waste a great chance to put some fear into the heart of the Torino defence. Cambiasso takes charge of a free kick on the right flank, but can barely get his delivery past the second defender. The hosts clear.
  • 32'
    Yellow Card Alessandro Gazzi
  • 31'
Darmian, the Torino defender, finds himself at the edge of the Inter ox and tries to clip a soft one over the top for Cerci. The former Fiorentina man nearly goes past Rolando and has a clean sight at goal, but his first touch, on his chest, takes the ball farther away from goal than he intended.
  • 29'
Barreto has the ball on the left, and with three to pick out in the penalty area, cuts onto his right foot and dills a low cross in towards the near post, but Carrizo, who has not put a finger wrong since coming on, is off his line to snare.
  • 27'
Taider booked for fouling Brighi, and very nearly gets himself booked again after hurling down the same player right in front of the linesman on the near side. He's a lucky boy, and walks away from the scene of the crime straight away.
  • 26'
    Yellow Card Saphir Taider
  • 25'
Torino continue to come forward and put pressure on Inter. The Nerazzurri are still playing with three at the back despite their numerical disadvantage, which is opening up all kinds of space on the flanks. Pasquale in particular has found some joy out wide so far.
  • 23'
Inter, and especially Guarin, fell completely asleep on that play. No question that the Nerazzurri should have defended that better, even though it was a slick move from the home side.
  • 21'
    Goal Alexander Farnerud
An excellent team move from the home side. Pasquale plays the ball into Cerci at the top of the D, who clips it with his first touch into the box, and it's nodded into the path of Farnerud, who smashes in a finish at the far post!
  • 21'
As it turns out, they will, as Torino break the deadlock!
  • 20'
Inter fashion another strong chance to take the lead! Guarin again takes control of matters on the right, sliding in a low ball that just misses the onrushing Taider and Palacio at the far post! Will the Nerazzurri rue those two misses?
  • 19'
That chance seems to have sparked something in Inter, as the Nerazzurri hold a solid amount of possession in the Torino half. Good stuff from the visitors, and they'll need to keep this up to have a chance throughout.
  • 17'
Inter, or more specifically, Taider, wastes a glorious chance to get on the board. Guarin shows incredible tenacity to keep hold of the ball under pressure, and the Colombian squeezes in a quality cross that Taider halfheartedly attacks in the six yard box, sending it over the bar. Had he thrown everything he had at that ball, Inter would be 1-0 up.
  • 15'
Cambiasso advances Inter out of their own half for the first time in what seems like an eternity, and works the ball to Guarin, who quickly tries to set Palacio on his bike, but the Argentine is woefully isolated. He'd better get used to that.
  • 13'
Inter defending deep, and defending doggedly. Torino making full use of their man advantage, and are keeping the opposition penned back in their own half. Spaces and channels are appearing for il Toro...
  • 11'
D'Ambrosio, nearly! Cerci is drawing all the attention from the Inter defence, and the winger is left completely free on the right side. He takes Cerci's pass first time on his left foot, but Carrizo reads the attempt, diving again to his right hand side and parrying the attempt! Inter hastily clear the loose ball.
  • 9'
Torino have wasted a glorious chance to take the lead, but they still have the better part of 80 minutes to pile some pressure onto this 10-man Nerazzurri side. Pity for the youngster Kovacic too, who sees his night end early, depriving Inter of some serious creativity in the process.
  • 7'
    Missed Penalty Alessio Cerci
  • 7'
    Penalty save Pablo Carrizo
SAVED! Carrizo makes an instant impact, diving to his right to push away Cerci's penalty! It's worth nothing that the keeper moved well off his line to make that save, but no call from the referee.
  • 6'
    SubstitutionMateo Kovačić Pablo Carrizo
  • 6'
Carizzo comes on to take Handanovic's spot, and Kovacic is the sacrifice. What a chance for the reserve keeper to make a name for himself against Cerci from 12 yards...
  • 6'
Not an outrageous decision to award the penalty, but it's always a tad harsh to issue a red card at the same time. Handanovic certainly was not reckless, and Cerci was not completely in the clear of the last man as Ranocchia was close to him, despite the defender letting him get past.
  • 5'
    Red Card Samir Handanoviç
It's Cerci again causing all the problems for the Nerazzuri. He gets ahead of the static Ranocchia inside the area, and touches ahead of Handanovic, who comes for the ball, misses it and takes out the forward in the process! The referee does not hesitate, awarding a penalty, and sending the keeper off!
  • 5'
  • 4'
Torino very nearly storm into the lead! Cerci, as ever, is at the heart of it for the Granata, storming down the left flank, leaving Jonathan for dead, and then rooting Handanovic with a tricky finish that bounces off the base of the post!
  • 3'
A real haze descending over the ground as, in that time-honored Calcio tradition, a section of fans have lit flares, with smoke spreading all over the stadium.
  • 1'
Off we go then folks, the home side get the ball rolling.
  • No major issues to account for the kickoff delay by the way, it seems that both sides were just a little behind schedule since arriving at the staduim. Whose job is that, I wonder?
  • Here they come, and line up immediately for the pre-match handshake. It's been 19 years since Torino have taken all three points against Inter, could tonight be the streak breaker!
  • The Granata fans are in full voice inside Stadio Olimpico, but we're still waiting for the teams to emerge from the tunnel.
  • For Torino, Barreto and Gazzi both start from the beginning, as Giampiero ventura aims to get his charges into the top half of the table, which will happen should they snare some points off Inter at home tonight.
  • No Ricky Alvarez for the visitors tonight, a big loss given the midfielder's consistency this season. But their other Argentine attacking threat, Rodrigo Palacio, is fit and raring to lead the line.
  • The Nerazzurri can bump themselves into fourth place with a win tonight, after suffering their first reverse of the campaign at the hands of Rudi Garcia's high-flying Roma team. They've had two weeks since then to dust themselves off.
  • INTER: Handanovic; Rolando, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus; Jonathan, Guarin, Cambiasso, Taider, Nagatomo; Kovacic; Palacio.
  • TORINO: Padelli; Darmian, Vives, Moretti; D'Ambrosio, Brighi, Gazzi, Farnerud, Pasquale; Cerci, Barreto.
  • Lineups are in.
