Got his fingertips to Cisse's opener but couldn't claw it out and was outfoxed by the Senegalese striker for the second goal. Was mostly brought into the game by his team-mates rather than shots from the opposition.
An assured presence who was not afraid to carry the ball out of defence and continues to impress. Twice found himself unmarked in the Newcastle box but could not trouble Krul.
Was heavily involved going forward and always looked to move into attacking positions and provide crosses, but couldn't find a team-mate.
Regularly moved beyond Routledge on the left-hand side but didn't trouble the Newcastle defence with his delivery.
Perhaps caught slightly out of position for Newcastle's opener and allowed Cisse to drift away from him for the second. Otherwise went untested for long periods as Swansea kept hold of the ball.
A typically tidy and uncomplicated performance from the midfielder in the first half, but appeared to see less of the ball after the break and didn't have as much impact on the game as he would have liked.
Scuffed efforts wide in both halves which you would have backed the usually-lethal midfielder to convert. Tested Krul with a wicked strike from distance which was palmed away.
Shot tamely at Krul in the first half when presented with a chance to equalise from 20 yards, and nearly drew his side level when the Dutchman fumbled his deflected effort clear. Had plenty of the ball for an hour and was always positive, but his influence on the game dwindled.
A lively performance on his first start since his return from a three-match ban. Played in a narrow position on the right hand side as Rangel overlapped, but could not provide for Moore on the rare occasions the midfielder moved in behind the Newcastle back four. Replaced by Sinclair in the second half.
Started on the left and moved to the opposite flank at points throughout the game, but could not get in behind either Simpson or Santon.
Pushed a typically-stinging Sigurdsson shot wide in the first half and had to improvise to keep out a deflected Allen effort, but, for all the home side's possession, the Dutchman was rarely tested.
Played his part in limiting the threat from wide areas in a comfortable defensive display. Received support from Cisse and Guiterrez.
Kept Swansea's wide players quiet when called upon, but wasn't one of Newcastle's busier players at the Liberty Stadium.
Booked for a tackle from behind on Moore in the first half as impatience set in, but ensured that Moore and Graham weren't gifted any chances.
Another decent performance from the makeshift centre-back who continues to fill in where required by Alan Pardew.
Back in midfield after a stint at left-back, the Argentine broke up play for Cisse's opener. Typically industrious stuff from the versatile Argentine.
Could not impose himself on the game in the opening 45 minutes. Replaced by Ryan Taylor at the interval.
Instinctive first-time pass found Cisse for the opening goal. The Frenchman saw little of the ball in a midfield dominated by Britton and Allen in the first half. Enjoyed more possession after the break and provided Cisse again before being replaced by Gosling.
H. Ben Arfa
Followed up a delightful nutmeg on Neil Taylor with a weak shot from distance in the first half. Drifted in and out of the game, only rarely showing his class.
Had barely had a touch before expertly slotting past Vorm in the fifth minute to score his eighth goal in as many games, before scooping a delightful improvised shot beyond Vorm in the second half. Lethal and clinical finishing from the Newcastle No.9.
An early slip nearly saw Swansea open the scoring. A largely uneventful game for the striker, who couldn't effect proceedings despite moving into various positions in a front three. Replaced by Ferguson just before the hour mark.

Had a shot deflected wide immediately after coming on for Dyer. Attempted to test Krul with a couple of shots from distance but didn't really trouble the Newcastle goalkeeper.
- 17 J. McEachran
Came on with less than 25 minutes to play, but found genuine chances hard to come by.
- 35 R. Elliot
- 34 J. Tavernier
Replaced Ba with just over an hour to play as Newcastle looked to tighten up.
Brought on at half time in place of Tiote and helped Newcastle get a foothold in midfield in the second half.
- 13 M. Abeid
Brought on in place of Cabaye as Swansea's attacking threat lessened in the second half.
