Swansea City - Hull City Preview: Laudrup's men aiming to prolong unbeaten home run

The Dane's side are unbeaten in their last four Premier League matches at the Liberty Stadium, while the talismanic Michu may return from knee and ankle injuries

Swansea City will aim to prolong their unbeaten home record when they host Hull City on Monday evening.

Michael Laudrup's men have avoided defeat in their last four Premier League games at the Liberty Stadium, keeping clean sheets in three, and defender Ben Davies is keen to build on that record when Steve Bruce's side visit.

"We know that we need to pick up the points at home because that is where we should be at our strongest, even though, this year, we've managed to pick up three wins away from home," Davies told the club's official website.

"We just need to find a good balance and, every time we get the games at home, we need to take advantage of them."

13/2 Swansea and Hull are 13/2 with bet365 to draw 1-1 on Monday
Just three of Hull's 17 points have been gained on the road, Bruce's side suffering six defeats either side of a win over Newcastle at St James's Park in September.

Hull have been defeated by Swansea just once in their last five meetings, though, going down in extra time when the teams met in the League Cup five years ago.

Alex Bruce believes that he and his team-mates can bounce back from a 2-0 defeat at league leaders Arsenal in midweek but is also aware of the threat that Swansea will pose.

"The last two games have taken a lot out of us physically but we've got an extra couple of days to recover now compared to what we would normally have," he told Hull's official website.

"We also know that Swansea will be a difficult game as well, so those extra couple of days of preparation are going to be vital.

"Hopefully we can go down there and pick up some points."

Swansea have fitness doubts over Wilfried Bony (hamstring), while Alvaro Vazquez could also miss out due to the groin injury suffered against Newcastle. Michu, meanwhile, could return from injuries to his ankle and knee.

There are no fresh injury worries for Hull, who will be boosted by the return of defender Curtis Davies from suspension.
