A comfortable game in the Swansea goal. Had very little to deal with and handled whatever was thrown at him comfortably.
Thought he’d scored early in the second half only to see his header cleared off the line by a combination of Stekelenburg and Riether. Went one better shortly afterwards heading home Swansea's second at the near post.
Showed great desire to get forwards down the right and enjoyed a real battle with Kieran Richardson
A few nervy moments, particularly in the first half, but improved after the break.
Made a super sliding block to deny Dempsey and grew in confidence as the game wore on.
J. de Guzmán
Had two great efforts on goal and was unlucky not to score. Hit a fine effort from range on the hour mark and forced Stekelenburg into a brilliant save minutes later with another great strike. Set up the second goal.
Started off really poorly but showed a few flashes of quality just before the break. Replaced on the hour mark by Nathan Dyer.
Always looked Swansea's most likely source of inspiration and so it proved. Hit the crossbar in the first half, before breaking the deadlock with a long-range shot that needed a few deflections to beat Stekelenburg.
Was a good outlet down the left for Swansea and provided a few moments of real quality from out wide.
Decent display, hit one brilliant pass to Hernandez on the volley and kept Swansea ticking over.
Spent much of the first half with his back to goal, and will have been frustrated by the poor supply from his team. Had a few half chances but that was as good as it got.
Looked confident and make some fine saves, particularly from Flores and De Guzman. Unlucky with the goals which both needed deflections take them into the back of the net.
Coped well with Routledge and made some vital interventions, particularly helping clear Flores' header off the line.
Went close after a great fee kick by Richardson but, on the stretch, just headed over.
Did OK defensively, and was used as an attacking threat too from set pieces, although to little effect.
Enjoyed a good tussle with Rangel. Was a threat from set pieces as you might expect and hit a great free kick to set up Hangeland who should have scored midway through the first half.
Struggled to get involved initially but worked so far. Set up Dejagah for a great chance on the counter with a fine run and cross and had a decent effort on target himself just on the hour mark.
A few bright moments, none more so than a great chance on the break which he headed wasteful straight at Tremmel. Replaced by Bent after an hour.
Started strongly but faded and found it tough going in the second half as Swansea took control of the match.
Struggled to make much of an impact on the game, particularly after the break.
Kept dropping deep to try and pick up possession and had a few half chances but failed to connect properly and test Tremmel.
A few nice touches aside, offered very little indeed. Had a late chance but his header flew over and was replaced shortly afterwards.
Replaced Dempsey and set up Berbatov for a glorious chance with a fine cross.
Given the last half an hour and had a superb chance in stoppage time, but could only fire wide with just Tremmel to beat.
Replaced Berbatov for the last 10 minutes but the game was already gone.
