FULL TIME! Sunderland 3-1 QPR Goals from Bendtner, the outstanding McClean and Sessegnon seal a good win over relegation-haunted QPR, who other than Taiwo's consolation late on did not have a lot to shout about. Oh and they also had Cisse sent off for good measure too. Cheers for joining us.
Shaun Wright Phillips fires a shot wide but it is all very desperate stuff now for the Hoops. Four added minutes to come.
Sunderland could have wrapped it up, McClean crossing for Bendtner, who heads just over. Bendtner then goes off for Ahmed El Mohamady and QPR replace Zamora with Jay Bothroyd. Buzasky and Taiwo both whip in threatening crosses, but there is no-one there to turn them in from a QPR perspective.
Ahmed El Mohamady
Goal Taye Taiwo
GOAL! Hold on, QPR aren't finished just yet. Taiwo curls a delightful free-kick into the top corner, leaving Mignolet with no chance. Comeback?
Assist David Vaughan
Goal Stéphane Sessegnon
GOAL! Sessegnon adds a third for Sunderland, and this is becoming a rout for the Black Cats. He fires home after a flick-on from McClean after Vaughan's cross. It's his seventh goal in the Premier League this season.
Goal James McClean
Goal James McClean
GOAL! McClean doubles the home side's advantage. After his initial shot is blocked, he follows it up with an effort which deflects off Anton Ferdinand and past Kenny.
James McClean could and maybe should have wrapped it all up here but he is denied by a superb block by Young at the back post. McClean then drags another effort wide. It appears a matter of time before Sunderland add a second here.
Game has petered out slightly after that red card. Cisse will miss four matches after that poor tackle and leaves his side facing an uphill battle now. Shaun Wright-Phillips comes on for the disappointing Taarabt.
Red Card Djibril Cissé
RED CARD! Things go from bad to worse for QPR. Joey Barton will not be happy at not being put on for the subbed Diakite. Akos Buzsaky comes on instead. Then, Cisse is given his marching orders for a two footed challenge on Fraizer Campbell. It is his second sending off since he joined the club in January. They could have been two down as well, Craig Gardner smashing the underside of the crossbar from a free-kick.
And that better second half I asked for has started brightly. First QPR waste a free-kick. Taarabt blasts it into the wall before Diakite before a Gardner cross is just too strong for McClean. Good start.
QPR get us back under way at the Stadium of Light. Let's hope for a better second half.

Yellow Card Wayne Bridge

HALF TIME! Bendtner's header seperates the two sides at the break here after a lovely cross from McClean. Sunderland have been largely the better side but QPR have threatened in patches and cannot be discounted.
QPR almost level immediately. Taiwo's whipped cross finds Cisse, who has a great chance to score but Turner and Kyrgiakos bundle it behind between them. There are three added minutes here.
Assist James McClean
Goal Nicklas Bendtner
Goal Nicklas Bendtner
GOAL! Bendtner heads the Black Cats into the lead as he rises above the QPR backline to nod home McClean's deep cross.
The major talking point in the last five minutes has been Zamora feigning a headbutt when there was no contact whatsoever. Taarabt fired a free-kick into the wall after Mackie is tripped on the edge of the box by a clumsy Turner challenge.
Yellow Card Sotirios Kyrgiakos
Yellow Card Bobby Zamora
Zamora and Sotirios Kyrgiakos both booked after a silly scuffle between the two.
Sunderland go close through Sessegnon again after he runs at Shaun Derry. QPR are beginning to enjoy more possession now but Diakite must be careful after conceding a free-kick, he's already been booked.
John O'Shea has had to come off injured and is replaced by Fraizer Campbell. Graig Gardner goes to right-back to accommodate.
This game is far more even than the possession stats suggest. Sunderland have had 74% of the ball in the first half but John O'Shea has to be alert to block a strike from Djibril Cisse before Sessegnon drags his shot wide. Paddy Kenny then goes down after taking a goal kick and the medical staff are quick to come on and look at his ankle, but he is fine to play on.
Yellow Card Luke Young
Young booked for a poor tackle on McClean.
The match has become far more end to end in the last five minutes. Sessegnon sets up David Vaughan, but his shot is blocked before Adel Taarabt's ball to Zamora is well dealt with by the Black Cats defence.
The hosts are starting to force the issue now. First Sessegnon crosses for Colback but he scuffs his shot wide when well placed. The young central midfielder then flashes a left foot shot wide after Bendtner heads on. QPR do make a chance of their own though, as Mackie's header from a Young cross is deflected just over the bar.
Yellow Card Samba Diakité
Samba Diakite booked for hauling down Jack Colback.
James McClean is beginning to threaten here. After a direct run at the R's defence, which sees Taiwo eventually clears under pressure. McClean takes the resulting corner and despite pressure from Sessegnon, Luke Young excellently heads clear. Jamie Mackie tries to ease the pressure on his defence by going on a mazy run, but he is stopped in his tracks.
A cagey opening on Wearside. Both teams have enjoyed small spells of possession. Both sides have had openings. Sessegnon was caught offside after a route one from Simon Mignolet is worked to the Benin international via first Nicklas Bendtner and then Craig Gardner. QPR whip in a dangerous cross which is cleared by Wayne Bridge despite pressure from Bobby Zamora.
Referee Mike Jones blows his whistle and Sunderland get us under way here at a sunny Stadium of Light.
QPR make two changes from the side that secured a stunning fightback against Liverpool in midweek. Match winner Jamie Mackie replaces Joey Barton, who was booed off by his own fans when he was substituted on Wednesday and Taye Taiwo comes in for Armand Traore, who has suffered a grade one hamstring injury.
Sunderland welcome back Stephane Sessegnon after he served his three-match ban, but skipper Lee Cattermole must sit out one more game. John O'Shea has recovered from a hamstring injury, whilst Jack Colback returns to the side in place of Sebastian Larsson. Phil Bardsley is missing whilst Fraizer Campbell drops to the bench.
Hello and welcome to Goal.com's live commentary of Sunderland v QPR. Both sides want wins for different reasons. QPR are hoping to stave off relegation worries whilst Sunderland are hoping to achieve their best finish in the Premier League since 2000/2001 season, when they finished seventh.
