Saved well from a Mutch header in the first half. Other than that, he did not had much to do.
Replaced at half-time. Wasn't involved much in the game.
Again comfortable on the ball without doing anything fancy.
Yet another consistent and solid performance from the committed centre-half.
Nullified the threat of Campbell well and looked comfortable alongside Shawcross in the absence of Huth.
The game bypassed the Ireland midfielder, who was replaced just after the break. Looks like he is struggling for fitness.
Distributed the ball well in the midfield area and was always looking to get on the ball against a packed Cardiff midfield. Great delivery from corners.
Not the greatest game from the Frenchman. For a player of his presence, he doesn't seem to want to command the ball and dominate the midfield area.
Stoke's main threat all night. He was always causing problems down the left. Probably could have scored had he been braver in the first half.
Very abstract all game. Chased down well when not in possession. Tended to come inside a lot when he did get the ball.
A good performance from Crouch playing up front on his own. Looked determined and aggressive. Unlucky not to score from a header in the second half. Endured a great battle all game with Ben Turner.
Showed good bravery to come out and deny Assaidi in the first half. Other than that,he was relatively untested.
A really good performance from the youngster. His positioning and concentration was good, limiting Stoke's attack from the right.
Enjoyed the battle along with Turner against Crouch. Was good in the air and showed composure with the ball at his feet.
Relished the chance to play against Crouch and defended really well when his team were under pressure late in the second half.

Brave and aggressive but Assaidi got the better of him too many times.
Quiet in terms of getting forward but kept things neat and tidy in the midfield, looking to set-up any of his side's attacks. A disciplined performance.
Came close with a great header which, in truth, was his side's best opportunity. It was another bright performance from the ex-Birmingham man.
Always busy in trying to win the ball back for his side and you can tell he enjoys his role protecting the back four.
Industrial display by the box-to-box midfielder. Worked well with Medel to put out fires and set up attacks, looking to find Whittingham and Mutch with the ball.
Returning to the side he was direct in his play, always looking to make something happen. Generally quite neat on the ball but sometimes was found sloppy in possession.
Closed down well and worked tirelessly against a well-organised Stoke defence. Won free kicks in good areas and always looked alert, despite the lack of service on a night Cardiff failed to create many openings.
