  • That brings an end to’s live commentary of the game. Despite finishing goalless, the match had plenty of chances and both sides should have got themselves onto the score sheet. Spain finish bottom of the group with just one point from their matches and no goals. Morocco finish third.

    What an unbelievable miss! Adrian is clean through on goal with a defender nowhere to be seen. With only the goalkeeper to beat he casually tries to hit the ball pass Amsif but the ball bounces wide. The Atletico Madrid man tries to make up for his attempt by running after his effort but the balls already crossed the line for a goal kick. That really was a poor miss!

    Mata miscues an effort wide of Amsif’s goal after a dangerous cross in to the box. He’s been one of his countries better players during the tournament but should have done better there.

That move sums up the match so far really, decent build up play but the final product has been found lacking.

Surprisingly only one of the sides is still in with a chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals and it’s not Spain, who have failed to score in their opening two games, losing both 1-0. Morocco need to win and hope other results go their way if they are to progress.
