FULL-TIME! What an end to the match at Hampden Park! A late equaliser from McArthur scraped a late point for the hosts, after an opening goal in the second half from Cernych. Despite desperate attacking play in the dying stages, Strachan's men just couldn't quite force a winner, despite Hanley going inches away from a second goal at the death. That's all that we have time for, as Lithuania grab an unlikely away result in World Cup qualifying.
J. McArthur
Yellow Card
Scotland
90' + 4' McArthur is booked for another untidy tackle in the middle of the park.
90' + 3' This is end-to-end stuff now, with Strachan gesticulating wildly in his technical area. Lithuania are very tired and Scotland are desperately trying to exploit that very fact. Paterson bends in a cross from the right, but Setkus punches half-clear, before claiming a second delivery.
90' + 1' Lithuania break down the left-hand side and find themselves in a three-on-one situation, but a wasteful cross fails to make the most of the situation. There are five minutes of stoppage time.
G. Hanley
Assist
Scotland
89' Hanley uses his height to flick on Paterson's throw-in, which ends up falling into the path of McArthur!
J. McArthur
Goal
Scotland
89' GOOOOOOOOOAL! MCARTHUR MAKES IT 1-1! Paterson launches in a throw-in from the right-hand side, which is flicked into the back of the net by the head of the Crystal Palace midfielder. Scotland are level late on!
87' The away side concede a corner, with Setkus doing just enough to punch a poor delivery clear of the danger zone. The referee also blows for a foul on the goalkeeper, despite no Scotland players getting anywhere near the Lithuanian shot-stopper.
M. Grigaravičius
N. Valskis
Lithuania
85' Grigaravicius is thrown into the fray for the last five minutes, as the visitors have some very tired players on this pitch now.
85' Robertson has a cross from the left-hand side turned behind for a corner. Bannan whips it in,  but Snodgrass can only rise highest to send a terrible header way over the crossbar. Play breaks down, however, as Lithuania continue to have some fatigue problems and some players require physio attention.
83' We're into the final 10 minutes at Hampden Park, with Scotland desperately needing to find a goal from somewhere. The hosts have already thrown two strikers up top, but chances have continued to be hard to come by. Lithuania's players, however, are looking very tired indeed.
81' After conceding twice in the last 25 minutes against Slovenia, Lithuania aren't out of the woods yet. C. Martin is the target of a good cross from the left, but is penalised for a shove on his marker. Moments later, Forrest is fed in behind the visiting back four, but Setkus is quick off his line to cut the danger out.
79' Big chance for Griffiths! The substitute is picked out in the box by a great cross from Snodgrass, but can only direct a header straight at the goalkeeper! That's the closest that Scotland have come this evening.
77' Griffiths is the target of a long ball forward, but the former Wolves striker fails to bring the pass under his spell. Setkus mops up the scraps, with Scotland then able to win a free-kick on the left. A delivery is swung in, but Paterson heads well wide of the far post.
75' The home fans are looking very worried indeed, as only a quarter of an hour stands between the hosts and a disappointing home defeat. Lithuania give away a free-kick, which is taken quickly, but a low cross from Snodgrass is easily cut out.
73' Scotland win a corner on the right-hand side, but Paterson can only flick a glancing header wide of the target. Courtesy of a deflection, the hosts get another corner, but Hanley heads off-target. Lithuania respond with a break, but Cernych can only shoot narrowly wide of the right-hand post!
L. Griffiths
M. Ritchie
Scotland
71' Ritchie takes his leave after failing to offer an end product, with Griffiths given 20 minutes to net an equaliser.
70' Strachan is looking rather concerned on the edge of his technical area, with Robertson being the only real dangerous outlet for the home side. Griffiths is being readied on the sideline, as the hosts look to push for an equaliser.
68' R. Martin is picked out by a corner delivery from the right, but the Norwich defender plants a looping header over the crossbar. Scotland are running out of time and can't afford to keep wasting good opportunities to find an equaliser.
K. Chvedukas
A. Žulpa
Lithuania
66' Chvedukas is replaced by Zulpa, as the away side look to freshen up their midfield options.
66' Frustration is showing for the hosts, with McArthur the latest man to make a rash tackle in the middle of the park. Lithuania have a lead to hold onto, and they have done well to keep the hosts relatively quiet. Ritchie feeds Robertson into the box, but C. Martin is denied at the near post by an important block.
V. Andriuškevičius
V. Slavickas
Lithuania
64' Andriuskevicius comes into the game for Lithuania, with Slavickas replaced for the final 25 minutes in Glasgow.
63' McArthur tries to muster up a cross from the left-hand side, but the substitute bends his delivery directly out of play for a goal-kick. Lithuania respond with a counter-attack, with Novikovas happy to waste some time by dribbling his way down the left-hand side.
61' Scotland only have half an hour to turn this game around, with Ritchie immediately trying to cause problems. The ex-Bournemouth winger bends a delivery in, but Slavickas makes a timely clearance at his back post. Robertson then forces Setkus into a save, with Forrest only able to drill the rebound wide of the target.
V. Slivka
Assist
Lithuania
59' Slivka receives a neat flick by Cernych, before slotting a great through-ball into his captain's path.
F. Černych
Goal
Lithuania
59' GOOOOOOOOOAL! CERNYCH MAKES IT 1-0! The Lithuania captain races forward and gets into the penalty area, following a lovely one-two with Slivka. He takes aim, before drilling a great finish inside the near post!
J. Forrest
O. Burke
Scotland
57' Burke is replaced after a disappointing showing in the second half, with Forrest brought into the fray.
56' Lithuania try to lead a break down the left, but McArthur hacks down Valskis when the visiting forward tries a neat piece of skill. The resulting free-kick is blasted high over the bar by Novikovas - that was a waste.
54' Free-kicks continue to fracture play in this contest, with both sides struggling to get going and gain momentum. Fouls are stopping a lot of counters in their tracks. Robertson bends in a cross from the left-hand side, but a flicked C. Martin header heads wide of the far post.
G. Hanley
Yellow Card
Scotland
52' Hanley gets a booking, as the ex-Blackburn Rovers defender is penalised for jumping unfairly with his defender and catching Girdvainis with a high boot.
G. Freidgeimas
Yellow Card
Lithuania
52' Freidgeimas gets a yellow card for a raised arm, with the Lithuania defender penalised for catching C. Martin with his forearm.
50' Burke breaks down the right and looks to scamper into the penalty area, but Slavickas makes just about enough of a challenge to deny the Leipzig youngster. Scotland release Robertson down the left, with the full-back seeing two crosses in quick succession well blocked, with Snodgrass also seeing a shot charged down.
48' Good stop from Marshall! The Scotland goalkeeper gets down smartly to his left-hand side, after a good shot across goal. That is an early warning sign from the visitors! Lithuania have been mustering up their own fair share of opportunities. The hosts respond with a break, but a Paterson cross is turned behind for a corner.
J. McArthur
D. Fletcher
Scotland
46' Fletcher is replaced at the break by McArthur, who will offer the same bite in the middle of the park.
46' We are underway in the second half! Both sides are searching for the first goal of the evening, but will need to be much sharper in the final third if they are to penetrate two resilient defences.
HALF-TIME! It is still goalless at the interval, with Scotland and Lithuania exchanging an equal amount of half-chances in Glasgow. Both goalkeepers haven't been tested, but there has been a lot to suggest that there will be a breakthrough in this contest sooner rather than later.
45' + 1' There is one minute of stoppage time.
45' The referee waves away a penalty for Lithuania, with a sliding tackle deep in the Scotland penalty area appearing to get the ball. Burke drives to the left byline for the hosts, but bends a cross straight into the gloves of the goalkeeper.
44' Lithuania continue to defend well, despite having their backs to the wall, with Burke coming into his own in the number 10 role. The visitors drive down the right through Cernych, but Hanley covers across brilliantly to deny the opposing captain.
42' Paterson drives down the right and combines with Ritchie, but a pass from the latter is badly weighted once again. Scotland are getting forward well, but their creativity and cutting edge in the final third is severely lacking. Frustrating stuff for the home fans.
40' Burke dances past two defenders and then stabs a low pass into Ritchie's path, but the former Bournemouth wide man is denied by a smart interception. The 19-year-old is just growing in importance during this contest, and looks to be key to a breakthrough goal.
38' No penalty for the hosts! Burke bursts into the penalty area and is put under pressure by Girdvainis, but goes down too easily for the referee's liking. Gradually, the ex-Forest winger is causing more problems and finding pockets of space.
36' Burke dances infield from the right, but the Leipzig winger is robbed of possession easily. Strachan's men just aren't quite clicking in the final third, with C. Martin getting very rare service up top. Less than 10 minutes remain in the first half.
34' The away side continue to defend well. Scotland muster up a long-range effort through Bannan, but the Sheffield Wednesday midfielder shoots straight at Setkus. Lithuania respond down the other end, but Slivka heads wide of the target.
32' Ritchie whips in a cross from the left-hand side, but Slavickas does brilliantly to flick a defensive header away from Snodgrass. Paterson launches in a long throw as a result, but it fails to beat the first man. The visitors have looked confident in the air. C. Martin is the target of another cross from the left moments later, but is promptly outmuscled while jostling.
30' Snodgrass bends in a cross from the right, which is nodded down by Ritchie, but C. Martin can't react quickly enough to fashion a chance for himself on the edge of the box. Lithuania race down the right, but Robertson makes a good tackle to deny Cernych. The opening half an hour has been fairly even, with neither goalkeeper having a great deal to do.
28' Lithuania race forward on the break, but Valskis is pulled back for an earlier foul. Scotland continue to see more of the ball, but both sides are relying mainly on set-pieces to get the ball into dangerous areas of the pitch.
26' Wide from C. Martin! Burke is the target of a through-ball from Paterson, but Lithuania make an important interception. Snodgrass picks up the scraps and drives forward, but a clipped cross from the Hull winger is guided beyond the far post by the Derby striker.
25' C. Martin hasn't been able to get on the ball at all so far, with Scotland relying on Snodgrass and Robertson to cause problems in the final third. Ritchie tries to scamper down the right-hand side, but the ex-Swindon wide man then misplaces what seemed to be a routine pass.
23' Paterson gives away a free-kick for a wild, lunging challenge, which leaves Novikovas in a heap on the turf. The away side bend in a delivery, but it fails to beat the first man. These set-pieces aren't being capitalised upon by either outfit. Vaitkunas takes aim from 30 yards out, but shoots high and wide of the target.
21' Lithuania have a chance to load the box with yellow shirts, after winning a free-kick on the left-hand side, but Scotland head clear with ease. Both of these sides are trading half-chances on the basis of winning free-kicks. Novikovas drives into the box and shoots with his right foot, but the hosts made a good block to deny him.
19' Ritchie takes aim from the resulting free-kick, but the Newcastle winger can only shoot into the wall with a powerful effort. Burke is the quickest to respond and turns the rebound goalwards, but the youngster can only stab a half-volley way wide of the left-hand upright!
M. Kuklys
Yellow Card
Lithuania
18' Kuklys gets the secodn yellow of the match, after a cynical sliding tackle on Snodgrass. The Lithuania midfielder claimed to have touched the ball, but the referee isn't interested.
17' Bannan and Snodgrass stand over a free-kick that is all of 30 yards out from the Lithuania goal, but the latter can only bend a terrible attempt a long way wide of the right-hand post. The away side respond with a quick attack down the left, but Kuklys is frustrated by Paterson well.
15' Paterson is picked out by a free-kick delivery from the left, but the Scotland right-back can only head wide of the right-hand upright. Lithuania respond by winning their own set-piece, but it is easily cleared.
E. Vaitkūnas
Yellow Card
Lithuania
13' Vaitkunas gets a yellow card for deliberately blocking off Robertson.
13' The away side manage to make inroads down the right-hand side, but a poor cross is cut out by Fletcher. The West Brom midfielder feeds a pass down the line, releasing Robertson, who is cynically brought down. Already, Lithuania are showing that they are prepared to be cunning in order to stop any dangerous counter-attacks.
11' Lithuania win a corner on the left-hand side, with the ball cleared easily by the hosts. Slivka picks up the scraps and lets fly from the edge of the penalty area, but a low shot from the visiting midfielder goes straight down Marshall's throat.
9' A long ball searches for Valskis in behind R. Martin, but the pass is too heavy and Marshall gobbles up the scraps. Scotland respond with a break down the right-hand side, but Snodgrass is caught narrowly offside. Quality in the final third hasn't been in plentiful supply so far. Lithuania are very keen to be direct in their approach play.
7' The home side have enjoyed the majority of possession inside the opening 10 minutes, with Lithuania's build-up play being quickly fractured. Novikovas tries to burst down the left, but Paterson steps out at the right time to frustrate the visiting winger. The visitors try to switch play, but a pass in search of Vaitkunas goes straight into touch.
5' Aimless passes have been the result of the opening exchanges in Glasgow, with Scotland rushing possession in the middle of the park. Lithuania try to threaten with a long ball down the right-hand side, but Robertson makes a timely interception to prevent Cernych from getting in behind.
3' Robertson is released down the left-hand side, with the left-back doing well to earn a free-kick from Cernych. The hosts load the penalty area with bodies, but a whipped delivery from Bannan is headed wide of the far post by Hanley.
1' We are underway in the first half at Hampden Park! These two sides have quite a rivalry, given that they have played each other so regularly, meaning that there is more than just points at stake tonight for both of these teams.
