The Polish 'keeper was given a rare start to make his final Madrid appearance and was a bystander for large parts of the match. Could not be blamed for the goal. Departed the game to a standing ovation and a guard of honour from his team-mates.
The centre-half, like his fellow defenders, had an uneventful game with Almeria lacking in attacking threat. Kept his concentration throughout.
The right-back had a decent. He looked impressive going forward but his defending wasn't always great. His unlucky deflection gave Almeria a goal, but made amends by supplying one direct and one indirect assist.
Not a bad outing from the former Liverpool man who supported the attack well and impressed with his defensive positioning.
Pepe was very solid tonight. He was rarely troubled defensively but he was always looking to play the ball forward to set Madrid on yet another attack.
The Brazilian was impressive in the first-half particularly, linking up play well between the midfield and the attack, but did not have a direct hand in any of the eight goals.
The German playmaker had another impressive game for Madrid. His passing was precise and his ball to Adebayor for the home side's second goal was sublime. Took his assist tally to 17 in La Liga.
Nice performance from the midfielder who did what he has been doing all season, keeping it simple while playing the odd 'Hollywood' pass when needed.
The Togolese striker bagged a hat-trick in what could be his final game in the white of Madrid if the club decide against signing him on a permanent deal. Full of running and took all three goals nicely.
Two goals from the Frenchman and a great way to end a season that started off so indifferently for the former Lyon man. Nice link-up play with Ronaldo and Adebayor in particular.
The Portuguese winger scored a historic 39th goal to make him a La Liga record-breaker. His first goal was a simple one but he executed well, working hard for his side and showing the quality touches that we have come to expect from the former Manchester United man. The second goal was superb and he added a number of assists to cap off a superb performance.
The 'keeper made one superb save from a Ramos header but apart from that, it was a nightmare evening. He could have done a little better with two of the Madrid goals.
Very poor this evening. His marking was dreadful as Benzema, Adebayor and Ronaldo's movement completely caught the former Velez defender out.
The Uruguayan defender had a dreadful outing. His positioning was non-existent and he was unable to make one decent tackle.
The young left back had a torrid game with Ronaldo and Ozil taking it in turns to expose his lack of positioning sense down the wing.
Unlucky for Madrid's fourth goal, which he appeared to brilliantly clear Ronaldo's shot off the line before Adebayor volleyed in. His only telling contribution to the game as he failed to remember how to defend.
The right-back for the evening looked very good going forward, creating a number of chances for his side. His defensive play was average at best but still, one of Almeria's better performers.
The Argentine made a bright start in the early stages of the game but faded badly in the second half where he struggled to string passes together.
With the score at 2-1, the midfielder missed a glorious chance to equalise when his header hit the post. It all went down hill after that. Completely overran by the Madrid midfield.
One of his sides better players in the first period, always looking to get forward. Completely different player in the second period with the former Real Madrid youth player looking tired and ineffective.
The lone striker grabbed a goal but that was his only contribution to the game. Slightly unlucky given the lack of support.
Sure to move on in the summer. A poor performance from the Argentine who really struggled to create anything of note for his team-mates.
The keeper replaced the outgoing Dudek late on but did not have a shot to save.
- 2 Ricardo Carvalho
- 21 Pedro León
- 16 Canales
Impressive cameo from the attacker who added an assist from Adebayor's hat-trick goal.
- 38 Mandi
The youngster scored his first La Liga goal for the club in a brief cameo. Nice finish, too, from Ronaldo's cross.
- 1 Diego Alves
- 18 S. Acasiete
- 2 M. Jakobsen
Brought on for Crusat with half hour to play but he made no impact whatsoever as Madrid continured to outplay the Almeria midfield.
- 24 Juanito
Came on late but hardly touched the ball as Madrid carried on scoring.
The Swedish striker entered the game late on but could not make any impact.
