A solid game as he first dealt well with Rodallega, and then Sammon after the striker initially seemed to be causing problems.
Looked to be forming a good partnership with Wright-Phillips down the left in the first 45 minutes. Moses caused him some trouble after switching to the right, but he will be happy with his performance.
Almost got lucky with a looping cross in the first half but was easily beaten for pace by Victor Moses on occasion. Did well to thwart the threat for most of the first half and played Crusat out of the game.
Relatively untroubled and did well to thwart any attacks coming his way. A quiet game for the centre-back, and he'll take as many of those as he can.
A pretty quiet game for the captain after his Twitter escapades on Friday, but showed some nice enough passing. Did pick up a needless booking though for tripping Moses.
Caused problems in the opening stages as he looked back on form with his mazy style of dribbling. Was threatening for the hosts, but should have done better with a couple of openings.
Some nice passing and was unlucky to see his effort fly wide of the post after turning his marker well. His long range shooting was showcased again just before half-time as he curled in a peach of an effort off the post to give the hosts a two-goal lead at half-time. Hit a fabulous volley that was tipped over in the second half before leaving the field to a standing ovation.
Battled well and won his fair share of challenges, using his strength well. Perhaps held onto the ball for too long on occasion, and blazed his only opportunity high over the bar.
Wasted his first real chance, dragging a shot wide from the edge of the area. Some good running before half-time earned the free-kick for Buzsaky's goal. Was unfortunate to be sacrificed as Hughes went for a change of formation.
Stayed calm and tucked away his penalty really well, right into the corner, but changed direction for his second and it perhaps lacked conviction. Good aerial presence though.
Ali Al Habsi
Made a good save to tip over a cross that threatened to loop in, and his distribution was good early on. Almost got to Helguson's first penalty, and made a great save to deny him from the second.
A fairly solid game from the right-back. He got forward well in the first half and didn't give too much away in defence. Was replaced by the more attacking Stam after the Rodallega's free-kick.
Didn't have the greatest of games at left-back and was outdone by Jamie Mackie too many times. Went forward well though, and earned the free-kick for Rodallega to score.
A good performance from the centre-back. He did get beaten once by DJ Campbell's movement early on but got back well to recover.
Gave away a very soft penalty, but he did have his hands on Helguson as the ball came in and gave the referee a decision to make. Defended solidly for most of the game, but should have closed down Smith earlier for his goal.
Absolutely roasted Luke Young for pace early on and nearly brought the opener but his cross wasn't turned in. Was a constant threat for the away side, but never really capitalised on his opportunities.
Whipped in a fine free-kick that should have brought the opener after two minutes. Played some nice passing in the early stages, but the game seemed to be passing him by as he was first moved deeper in the second half and then entirely off the pitch after the hour.
Played the ball nicely from the deep, often looking for Victor Moses on the left. Kept the ball well but didn't really produce anything from midfield for his team.
Played well but looked fairly quiet in the centre. He was taken off by Martinez as they looked for a more attacking formation.
Inexplicably stuck up his hand when defending a corner to give away the penalty. Looked decent for some of the first half, and improved in the second.
Just unable to get on the end of a flick on to open the scoring early on. Shot on sight every chance he got, but never really came close until his sumptuous free-kick after 65 minutes.

Came on to add more of an attacking threat, and was deployed as more of a right-winger than a right-back. Showed some nice touches but didn't get much of the ball.
Came on in the second half but was almost anonymous. Didn't really get on the ball or force anything from the home defence.
- 9 F. Di Santo
Came on and made a difference for the visitors, offering more of an aerial threat than Rodallega had in the centre and holding the ball up well.
