Tracked the tricky Fuller well and put some decent balls into the box.
The full-back was calm with the ball and defended well, however Hughes would probably have liked to see him get forward to better effect, when he did burst forward he created a great chance for Cisse.
Crouch dominated him in the air for the first 15 minutes but after that the QPR defender was a rock under the high ball. Also solid against the quicker Fuller and Jerome. Assisted Cisse's winner.
Very assured in the air in a game full of long-balls and throw ins. Looked to start attacks from the back too.
The Moroccan returned from suspension and had a pretty lively day. He was good on the ball and tested Sorensen with a number of long-range shots with one free-kick in particular going close. Sometimes tried too much and lacked final product but took the corner that led to Cisse's goal.
Had two great chances to score, one from the following up Taarabt's free kick and one from a header. Probably should have done better with both but showed drive and determination throughout the game and kept the Rs ticking.
Solid defensively but some loose passing and slow play brought the tempo down when the home crowd were urging their side to attack. Replaced in the second-half by Wright-Phillips.
Looked to burst forward when he could but wasted some good positions with poor passes. Brought off just after the break.
The striker was manhandled by Upson and Shawcross at times, having a small shout for penalty turned down. He kept going though and some good work to charge down Upson nearly led to Barton opening the scoring. The ball just wouldn't run for him after the break and was replaced by Bothroyd.
The winger looked dangerous when running with the ball but needed to get his head up earlier, and just lacked the final product needed.
Given a start in place of Begovic to aid his bid for a place in Denmark's Euro 2012 squad, flapped at a few crosses but was largely solid. Made a brilliant save to deny Cisse late on, and was powerless to prevent the winner.
Made his 100th appearance for the club and contributed a number of important blocks.
As expected was physical and good in the air, a solid performance from the centre-half. Did well with one cross in particular from Onuoha which could have gone anywhere.
Found Zamora difficult to deal with and had his arms all over him fairly often, was lucky not to be penalised more. Caught napping on the ball by the QPR forward which nearly led to Barton scoring. Other than that, he put in some good tackles.
Had a torrid time against Taarabt, and gave away one free-kick that the QPR midfielder nearly scored from. Subbed at half-time.
Solid defensively and worked hard, but didn't always use the ball well going forward.
Flew in with a crucial block on Mackie in the first-half and as usual provided a few nervy moments for QPR with his long-throws.
Threatened with some decent runs on the right but lacked final product and was replaced by Whitehead in the second period.
Ran all day to keep the QPR full-backs on their toes, one header nearly provided a good chance for Fuller but overall lacked final product. Nearly gifted the ball to Mackie just two yards from his own goal.
The former QPR man set up Jerome for a golden chance early on. He showed some good touches and won plenty of headers throughout the game, providing a good outlet for Stoke.
Missed a howler very early on and then nearly got on the end of a cross just after the break but did little else. Made some good runs but either his touch let him down or the service wasn't good enough. Brought off in the second half.
Came on for Derry to inject some pace into the side and did just that, earning the corner that led to Cisse's winner.
Thrown on in the second half in place of Zamora, smart turn and shot could have made it 2-0.
Replaced Buzsaky just after the break and the fans were chanting for him. Was denied by a brilliant Sorensen save. Got the vital winner to carry on his incredible record of scoring or being sent-off in each appearance for QPR.
