3,500 MK Dons fans go home very happy, their side has just performed fantastically and will look forward to a fifth round tie. A great team performance.
A fine performance from MK Dons but QPR were extremely poor. As much as Redknapp will comment on his other (perhaps bigger) concerns, that performance will not help anything. Embarrassing from the Premier League side.
90' + 3'
Full time, and that is it....QPR humiliated by MK Dons 4-2.
90' + 2'
Goal Fabio Da Silva
GOAL!!! Fabio scores a tap in as we approach stoppage time. Fumbled over the line, scrappy goal.
Dean Peter Bowditch
Zamora slices a chance with his left foot but he gets it all wrong .
QPR still fighting for everything but the old too little too late cliche springs to mind.
MK Dons just making sure there is no more drama and are passing the ball around neatly as we approach the final five minutes.
Goal Jay Bothroyd
GOAL!!! Bothroyd grabs a consolation goal, knocked in from four yards, nice knock down from Zamora.
Mackie had a chance to grab another, but can't steer the ball home. QPR now in full attack mode...finally.
MK Dons fans giving QPR the "ole, ole, ole" treatment as The League One side pass the ball around for fun.
Mackie heads it down in the box but again it's cleared. Very good defensive performance from Dons.
Even since MK Dons scored their fourth it hasn't sprung QPR into action. Very easy for the League One side today.
Bowditch almost makes it five but Robert Green makes a rare save today.
Mackie is working hard but I think he's the only one for QPR. The work ethic is still there but no clinical edge. Where's Granero's creativity gone?
Alan Smith has been a warrior for Dons today, he's heading everything away, absolutely everything.
Corner to QPR, good play from Fabio, making the most of a terrible pass to the Manchester United loanee.
Park off, Bobby Zamora is on. Captain's armband goes to Zamora who runs over to give it to Ferdinand who sheepishly puts it on.
Lowe almost found Williams and it was almost a 5th. It seems this has woke Redknapp up as he makes a substitution finally.
Lowe has been brilliant today for Dons, ran the game and his work rate is fantastic.
Still no change from Houdini. Very strange...
Fans leaving the ground already and it seems QPR's players have mentally gone home as well. MK Dons still dictating play.
QPR fans leaving already! Redknapp to come out and admit how bad this is? Or talk about his bigger concerns pretending he wasn't trying to win?
A simple ball into the box AGAIN not dealt with and Potter strikes the ball past a bewildered Robert Green. Fantastic stuff from Dons but QPR are hopeless.
Goal Darren Potter
GOAL!!! 4-0 MK Dons, Darren Potter smashes the ball into the far corner. Humiliation for QPR.
QPR have officially lost their heads now. Fouling MK Dons all over the pitch. The away fans are loving it.
QPR push forward but Bothroyd cannot convert the chance. Zamora is on the bench...must be a chance soon.
Yellow Card Alejandro Faurlin
Embarrassing defending again from QPR and this is turning into a bit of freak show. League 1's MK Dons battering The Premiership's QPR.
Goal Ryan Harley
GOAL!!! 3-0 MK Dons, too easy. Harley scores after some great build up from Lowe. Puts it on a plate for the Dons super sub.
MK Dons break but Bowditch loses possession, tighter defending from QPR.
And we're back underway, lets see what this QPR team can do. Redknapp clearly sending out the same team to make up for their dismal first half performance.
Teams are back out for the second half, no changes from either team.
Very poor from QPR and MK Dons have jumped on the chance of getting something from the game. Tactically they have been efficient and Redknapp may look to his bench for some fresh ideas for the second half.
Corner is wasted and that sums up QPR's play this half. There is the half time whistle and QPR are currently being outclassed by MK Dons.
Traore has another cross cut out but it leads to another corner. Last chance before half time.
Ferdinand now being booed by the home support.
QPR now look frustrated and Fabio receives a yellow card.
Yellow Card Fabio Da Silva
Fantastic composure from Lowe, he was onto Ferdinand's mistake in a flash.
Absolutely horrendous mistake from Anton Ferdinand, possibly the worst in his career....yep, that bad.
Goal Ryan Lowe
GOAL!!! Ryan Lowe puts MK Dons 2-0 up! Huge mistake from Anton Ferdinand lets the striker slot home with ease.
Home fans getting frustrated now as QPR keep pushing forward but lacking a clinical final product.
Granero gets away from the defender but drags his shot wide. Poor effort although the midfielder did well to get a shot off. Snatched at it though.
DJ Campbell's movement has been good today although his first touch is letting him down.
You do feel a goal is on the way for QPR...
Mackie is denied once more from a great save from Martin. Lovely floated ball into the false winger, but another chance missed.
Dean Bowditch drags a shot wide, poor effort from the striker but it indicates that he will get a few chances today.
QPR still piling the pressure on but MK Dons defending well. Park controlling the midfield so far, Granero hasn't started playing yet (in this game or his career)
Another corner for the R's, Traore bombarding forward once more. The man is on a mission. Corner comes to nothing. Alan Smith with a commanding header clear.
Jamie Mackie fails to get the ball down and fails to jump on a half chance for QPR.
DJ Campbell hits a shot on the half volley but it's a dreadful effort. DJ Otzi could have even been more accurate.
Dons defender Mackenzie has limped off with a hamstring problem. He is replaced by Harley which suggests a cheeky reshuffle for the away side.
Traore breaks up the line and Park is blocked by Potter. Superb run from Mr Owngoal, danced past a couple of Dons players - Peter Beardsley like.
QPR dictating possession now and a goal could be on its way for the home side. MK Dons started to defend for their lives already.
DJ Campbell found a bit of space, and gets a sharp shot away but Martin makes a routine stop. The DJ looks focused today and visually chuffed to be back playing for the team he supports.
Traore almost made amends for his early own goal error but his shot is blocked and Park Ji Sung can't get on the end of the rebound. More composure needed from the boy stripped of his role as captain earlier this week.
Mackie looking lively out wide, the tireless attacker has been gifted somewhat of a free-role today, a false winger maybe? Not sure...
QPR looking very poor, driving forward willy-nilly and looking very exposed at the back. Standard Redknapp.
Decent atmosphere at Loftus Road although QPR fans being out sung by the classic chorus of 'shall we sing a sing for you' after Dons took the lead.
Given as an own goal by Armand Traore now.
The Dons defender didn't know much about it but the ball flew past Rob Green into the roof of the net. Great start.
Own Goal Armand Traoré
GOAL! This one isn't ruled out. MK Dons lead! Dean Lewington runs to the near post and puts it in.
QPR started very brightly, a corner in the first minute and the ball in the back of the net. DJ Campbell getting on the end of Bothroyd header but he was offside after putting the ball in the net.
We are underway! And what a start, Campbell puts the ball in the net but it is ruled offside immediately. Miles off.
5 minutes away from kick off. The teams are in the tunnel. Apologies for any overly critical jibes at Anton Ferdinand...I might not be able to resist.
We are 28 minutes away from kick off...
Full strength line up for Dons and despite Redknapp resting a few keys players he still fields the likes of Faurlin, Granero, Park who he will hope can prove to be the difference. Big chance for Bothroyd to show his gaffa he can still do the business as Remy will no doubt step into the team next week.
MK Dons Starting XI: Martin, Ostemobor, Lewington, MacKenzie, Williams, Potter, Bowditch, Smoth, Chicksen, Lowe, Kay. Subs: Kouo-Doumbe, Flanagan, Harley, Alli, Lines, Rasulo, Ismail.
QPR Starting XI: Green, Traore, Ben Haim, Ferdinand, Fabio, Park, Granero, Faurlin, Bothroyd, Mackie, DJ Campbell. Subs: Murphy, Derry, Hill, Onuoha, Ephraim, Zamora, Mbia. NO REMY . (sums up Redknapp's intentions no?)
Team news is in...let us take a look at the talent on display...
Karl Robinson's MK Dons will be hoping to pounce on a confidence shy QPR side and will no doubt fancy their chances to grab a cheeky draw and do the business back at home. Robinson's side sit just outside the playoffs in league one at the minute and beat Sheffield Wednesday in the 3rd Round to earn their Loftus Road shaped prize.
Interesting match up awaits us today, although MK Dons are up against Premiership opposition you do have to question the full ambition of Redknapp's side who currently have a little problem of trying to stay in the Premier League on their priorities list...the FA Cup is possibly deemed more of hindrance to the R's who sit bottom of the Prem.
Good evening, and welcome to Goal.com’s LIVE! text commentary on this FA Cup tie between QPR and MK Dons. I’m Matt Smith (@ElasticoChop) and I'll be taking you through the action from a Granero deft touch to Dean Bowditch snap shot, it's all here...
