Fulltime at Loftus Road. A very entertaining game comes to an end and City re-open their five point lead atop of the Premier League, but QPR were also worthy of the three points and will be pleased with their performance.
90' + 3'
Disappointingly for QPR, nothing comes of the corner and the fulltime whistle is blown.
90' + 2'
Smith does well to win a corner and up comes Paddy Kenny!
90' + 1'
Quite an audascious attempt there from Balotelli as the Italian goes for goal out on the right wing from some 45 yards. He misses, of course, but it wasn't a bad effort considering.
QPR ensuring they finish the match with one last good spell of pressure. They're playing the ball around nicely at the moment, with Faurlin impressing in particular. You get the impression they'll get at least one more chance and they'll be hoping it comes from a set-piece.
QPR close to an equaliser again! Barton delivers another good free-kick and once again it's Helguson who meets it, but his header is saved by the crossbar/post angle. So close there.
Yellow CardJoey Barton
Joey Barton very lucky to stay on the field there. The midfielder callously sythed Silva legs out from behind. Receives a yellow card.
Dzeko does well to release Silva down the rght. The Spaniard cuts back onto his right foot, trying to curl into the top far corner, but he couldn't quite pull it off.
Yellow CardMario Balotelli
He's been on for a matter of moments and already Balotelli finds himself in the book for a quite inexplicable dive in the QPR penalty. Rightly booked by the referee.
GOAL!!! City restore their lead! Kolarov got possession on the left wing and crossed for Yaya Toure to head home in the area. Simple as that for the visitors.
GOAL!!! QPR equalise, but City are not happy! Traore's cross is deflected into the path of Bothroyd who heads it towards goal, but Helguson diverted the ball into the net. The City players are outraged, believing Helguson was offside, but replays show the officials are right to allow the goal.
Good effort from Mackie! Traore crosses from the left and Mackie meets it in the centre, but volleys over from 6 yards out. Very unlucky.
Helguson tries his luck from outside the box, but a deflection makes it easy for Hart.
Good play by Mackie as he beats Savic very easily, refusing to go down in the area under the Montenegrin's pressure, but his shot/cross ricochets into Hart's arms.
This time Aguero goes close as the Argentine also tries his luck from just outside the area, but his strike whistles past Kenny's right hand post. Very good effort.
Good save from Kenny! Dzeko was played through and shot with his left foot, but the Irishman launches himself down to the right and palms it away.
City have looked much better in the second half so far. They appeared very sluggish during the first half, however they really came out of the blocks after halftime. Mancini must've given the players an earful at the break!
GOAL!!!! City take the lead through Silva! Dzeko plays a pass into from the left along the floor and Silva produces a fantastic first touch when everyone thought he was going to dummy it for Aguero before lashing the ball past the helpless Kenny. Brilliant football there.
Faurlin plays himself into danger after stealing the ball from Aguero with the City attacker winning possession back following a needless Cruyff-turn from Faurlin. Fortunately for the midfielder, Aguero is crowded out by the QPR defence.
Barely 20 seconds into the second half and Barton tests Hart, trying with his left foot from range, but the England keeper makes a good, flying save.
45' + 1'
Halftime at Loftus Road. An entertaining half of football in which QPR will probably feel disappointed that they weren't able to go into the break in the lead.
Aguero almost puts the visitors into the lead as he goes for goal for outside the area, but his shot hits the outside of Kenny's post.
GOAL!!!! Dzeko equalises for City! Milner plays a good ball down the left to Dzeko who gets nto the area, selling Ferdinand a dummy before beating Kenny at his near post. Classy goal by the Bosnian.
So close to a second for Bothroyd! Helguson plays a very good cross over Savic and the big striker heads back across goal, clipping the outside of the post.
Aguero finds Silva in the area, but the Spaniard's flick off the heel goes wide of the far post.
Good attack from the hosts. Wright-Phillips finds Mackie on the right side of the area who strikes for goal. Hart pulls off the save, then makes another from Helguson as the striker pounced on the rebound. Helguson was offside, but it was still good play from the home side.
More good defending from QPR, this time from Ferdinand as the defender doesn't fall for Aguero's attempted turn in the area. The former West Ham man clears.
City almost reply immediately as Aguero lays the ball back to Dzeko in the QPR area, but the attempt is blocked.
GOAL!!! Jay Bothroyd gives Neil Warnock's men the lead! Joey Barton delivered a fantastic free-kick from the right and Bothroyd rose above everyone to head QPR into the lead.
QPR win a free-kick on the right wing. The hosts are having a good spell here.
So close to an opener for QPR! Barton's corner was headed back towards the near post by Helguson and Ferdinand very nearly got on the end of it just a yard from the goal.
City have managed to take the sting and energy out of the match with a spell of calm passing. It has also quietened the home support too.
Goalkick to QPR. Richards looks to release Milner down the wing, but Traore does well to shield the ball out of play. Little in the way of goalscoring chances so far.
QPR enjoying a decent start to this match so far. City showing their obvious class, but the hosts have shown enough to suggest we have a proper contest on hour hands. Barton, Wright-Phillips and Traore look in the mood.
QPR cause problems down the left again as Wright-Phillips evades Toure before slipping Traore in down the wing. However the Frenchman's cross doesn't quite reach his attackers in the six yard box.
Nothing comes of the corner however as City clear their lines with relative ease.
QPR win a corner as Armand Traore's cross is deflected behind.
Helguson with a decent effort as he volleys just past the far post from just outside the area. QPR showing from the opening exchanges that they don't plan to sit back.
City starting with intent as Yaya Toure finds Barry in space and the England midfielder launches a shot towards goal, but over it goes.
