FULL-TIME: MONTPELLIER HAVE DONE IT! They've eliminated PSG from the Coupe de France 2-1 after a tense encounter.
90' + 2'
Edinson Cavani's miss holds so much meaning now. Had that gone in, this might've been a different game.
90' + 2'
Poor pass from Matuidi, as Deplagne picks up the ball and tries to waste as much time as possible. Back to Douchez, and it's hoofed back across goal. Less than 90 seconds left!
90' + 1'
Into the first of THREE additional minutes at the Parc des Princes.
YELLOW CARD - Thiago Silva. With an awful challenge on Remy Cabella, after PSG were denied a free-kick. Has gone right into the back of him. Poor from the usually composed defender.
Yellow Card Thiago Silva
Ongenda slips a neat through ball into the path of Cavani. A bit too heavy in this increasing rain at the Parc des Princes, and Pionnier claims superbly.
Montpellier president Louis Nicollin wipes away tears as his side are about to inflict a first home defeat in 14 months on PSG, and eliminate them from the cup!
AND BREATHE! The referee was right, Saihi did get the ball first, before connecting with Cavani. Motta down, as play continues. The tension is unbearable, are PSG about to be eliminated from the Coupe de France?
PENALTY? NO!! IBRAHIMOVIC - WIDE!! What a dramatic sequence of events. Tiene gives the ball away, and it allows Cavani to pic up the ball into the box. Hacked down by Saihi, or did he get the ball? Referee waves play on, before Ibrahimovic slams it into the side netting!
Montpellier withstanding the pressure now as Stambouli performs a wonderful tackle on Cavani to deny the Uruguayan. And the tensions continue!!
Superb challenge by Marveaux to dispossess Ongenda, and it relesaes Remy Cabella on the counter. Montpellier are forward in numbers, and Cabella just fires it over the bar!!
Montpellier are putting everything they can on defending their slender lead, but a half-chance opens as Cabella chases the loose ball, but it is blocked off by Thiago Silva.
PSG director Jean Claude Blanc watches on aghast as his side are under pressure. Also watching is former PSG manager Luis Fernandez and France U21 boss Willy Sagnol.
ONGENDA! Fires just wide. Lovely ball played on by Lucas Moura, who holds off Stambouli. Towards the substitute, and it is fired wide.
SAIHI! Oh, what a save by Douchez. The clock is ticking, and that could've killed it off. Lovely ball into the path of the midfielder, who cannot lift it over Douchez, who claims at his feet.
Yellow Card Blaise Matuidi
The last time PSG had lost at home was a 1-2 defeat to nine-man Rennes in Ligue 1, in November 2012. More than a year ago! Can Montpellier hold on?
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Hervin Ongenda becomes the third and final change for the champions. Replaces Javier Pastore.
Corner for PSG. Taken in by Lucas Moura, and headed behind by a defender. Attempts to play it back in by Pastore fails, as Joris Marveaux fires the ball as far as possible away from goal.
Lucas Moura lights the burners on the right flank as he easily evades the defence, and pulls back the ball for a cross into the area. Headed away by the defender.
Matuidi with a strong challenge on Camara, and coach Rolland Courbis has gone crazy at the midfielder. The referee Olivier Thual also ticks off the France international.
SUBSTITUTION - Montpellier: Morgan Sanson comes on for M'Baye Niang.
PSG burst forward in search of an equaliser. Ibrahimovic helps it on, but Camara is taking no risks, and hoofs it away for a throw-in. Montpellier prepare a substitution.
Montpellier will really have to defend now, as they attempt to spring the second biggest shock of this round of the Coupe de France. Meanwhile, Deplagne reprimanded for a foul on Pastore.
Well, the cat is really among the pigeons here. PSG again have dominated to a certain extent in this second half. One set-piece, one goal has changed that. They're now behind.
Goal V. Montaño
GOAL! PSG 1-2 MONTPELLIER!! MONTANO!! From set-pieces, the problematic issues are laid bare again! Corner drifted in from the right by Niang, and Montano has a powerful header into the back of the net!
Montpellier now, with a chance to dominate. Saihi on the right meanders into the box, holding off Matuidi and Van der Wiel. Corner for the visitors.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Verratti replaced by Thiago Motta.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Menez replaced by Ibrahimovic. The Frenchman jeered off.
Woeful free-kick from M'Baye Niang. That was an opportunity that has gone begging. And now for the introduction of the duo.
Free-kick conceded by Verratti on the edge of the box, and Montpellier have a free-kick. Brilliant position as Ibrahimovic and Motta prepare to come on. Chants of 'IBRA' go up in anticipation!
PIONNIER! Brilliant save, right down to deny Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan holds off the defender to fire a low shot with the goalkeeper equal to it. Pressure mounting, frustrations growing!
Jeers against the referee as Olivier Thual dismisses calls for a free-kick. Looked like a hand went in there, as up at the other end, Cabella has a header flashed wide of goal.
Tensions rising at the Parc des Princes as PSG continue to be frustrated. Cross in from the right by Van der Wiel, and his cross is poorly headed by a defender before being cleared by Congre.
Jeers for Menez as he spurns a great opportunity, but the Frenchman does win a corner out of it, as his shot is spilled behind by Laurent Pionnier, the Montpellier goalkeeper.
Motta also warming up for the champions, as PSG look to take the lead in this Coupe de France tie. They have about 33 minutes remaining of normal time.
Lengthy delay for PSG to take the corner, as Digne remains down as the referee goes over to check if he is OK. Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come off the bench to go and warm up. Will we be seeing him soon?
PASTORE! Great save by Pionnier. Nice build-up from Matuidi, as the Argentine sees his effort parried away. Deplagne gets the ball away, injuring Digne on the touchline.
Free-kick Montpellier. Verratti with a rather unnecessary challenge on Jamel Saihi, and the Italian is lucky to escape a booking. Free-kick drilled in, and headed away by Silva.
Marveaux has a neat touch towards Souleymane Camara who attempts to race his way into the penalty box. Has Thiago Silva on him, under pressure and the Brazil captain has won that tussle.
Tiene locates Deplagne, who hoofs the ball far forward, about 50-60 yards. Rolland Courbis looks on frustratingly at the blatant conceding of possession by the young full-back.
Taken by Lucas Digne, surprisingly, and the left-back's bid to score his first goal for PSG ends in failure, as he blasts the ball over the bar.
Pastore's mis-control falls kindly for Lucas Moura who goes on one of his mazy runs. He's hacked down by a defender, and it allows PSG a chance at goal, free-kick about 25 metres out.
Abdelhamid El Kaoutari
SUBSTITUTION - Montpellier: Joris Marveaux has come on for Abdelhamid El Kaoutari.
UNDERWAY in the second half at the Parc des Princes. Can Montpellier put the first cross in PSG's bid for a quadruple?
HT: PSG 1-1 MHSC - at the break, we're all level. PSG have once again had the lion's share of chances as well as possession, but Daniel Congre's 20th minute opener saw them go behind, before Cavani levelled ten minutes later. All to play for.
45' + 1'
HALF-TIME: Montpellier 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain
Into the one minute of additional time signalled at the Parc des Princes.
Cabella's ball into the box is easily saved by Nicholas Douchez, who begins play promptly. Towards Menez, who is hacked down by Jamel Saihi.
Cabella goes down under the challenge of Verratti - too easily, I'd say. PSG bring the ball away as Van der Wiel is released. Tiene gets an important block on the ball, before Cabella wins a free-kick off of a Matuidi foul.
PSG break with speed thank to Lucas' powerful bursts, and he gets the better of Tiene, before finding Cavani on his left, but the striker's touch lets him down.
Five minutes to go until half-time, and Montpellier have another set-piece to try and regain the lead. To be taken by Cabella, with Congrea at the back post, but blocked by Marquinhos.
CAVANI!! The chances are coming. And the chances are going. A brilliant cross into the box is met by the Uruguayan, who attempt to emulate Andre Pierre Gignac's scissor kick for Marseille last night. Flies over the bar.
MONTANO! Stunning shot, and parried behind for a corner by Douchez. Well worked by the Colombia striker, who powers everything behind that. The corner is wasted, however.
Montpellier surviving by the skin of their teeth as Pastore is unsuccessful in front of goal. The visitors are beginning to be overwhelmed, as Cavani glances his header wide, and the cross into the box evades everyone!
Lucas feeds Van der Wiel on the right, towards Verratti, but Tiene's approach forces the hosts to go all the way back, before possession is conceded to Deplagne.
HOWLER!! Well, Cavani has arguably a vote for miss of the season. After scoring an easy effort, this time he has put it wide! Moura picks up the loose ball on the right, squares for the Uruguayan. Open goal, and he's put it wide!
Goal Edinson Cavani
GOAL!! PSG 1-1 Montpellier - CAVANI! The easiest goal he'll score. But the ball, the source of the attack is fantastic. Pastore flicks a superbly weighted pass towards Digne, who squares for Cavani. Fantastic.
PSG equalise, as Montpellier are pegged back within ten minutes of taking the lead. Cavani bursts forward again as Pastore helps it on for Matuidi, but the shot is parried by Pionnier.
The visitors are holding ranks to frustrate Edinson Cavani and go. Can Courbis' side go a full remaining hour and more without conceding? Unlikely. The champions are still in possession.
Cabella, subject of interest from Newcastle United, is upended by Verratti and requires a bit of treatment, but he should return in time. Meanwhile, PSG push forward.
And the boos and jeers continue as Montpellier break on the counter, towards Camara on the left. Only Montano ahead of him as Cabella gets possession, but he cannot get past the last defender.
PSG ramp up the pressure still. Cavani lets it slip towards Digne, who drills it into the box, but the defence holds sway. Poor from the champions, can they equalise?
Really shock opening from the visitors, with their first chance at goal. Already they've broken the deadlock that PSG have been trying so adamantly for 22 minutes. Can they hold on?
Goal Daniel Congré
GOAL!! PSG 0-1 Montpellier - BOOS ring out at the Parc des Princes. Against the run of play, the visitors have scored! Free-kick met by Daniel Congre after a miss from Douchez. It's in the back of the net!
Free-kick to Montpellier as M'Baye Niang goes down under the challenge of a defender. Free-kick to the visitors, to be taken by former PSG defender Siaka Tiene.
Pastore again races forward, as the ball is fed towards Digne approaching on the left-wing. Doesn't get to stretch the goalkeeper, and the score remains 0-0.
Chants of "Allez Paris" rings out, as PSG knock on Montpellier's door in this Coupe de France tie. They've dominated the early proceedings here at the Parc des Princes.
MATUIDI!! Horrible effort. Should've been 1-0 that. Menez cuts open the defence, and seeks Van der Wiel on the edge. The Dutchman finds Matuidi in the centre, but he hoofs it well wide.
Great delivery from Lucas. Corner meets the head of Marquinhos, who glances it wide, via the defender. Another corner for the champions, bt it is unsuccessful.
Montpellier are blocked into their own half right now. Pastore central to most moves as Matuidi tees up Digne who makes a neat run. Turned behind for a corner by Daniel Congre.
Goal for PSG, but it's ruled out for offside. But a rather controversial decision that. Pastore with a superb through ball for Digne, who rifles it home. But, the left-back was onside!
Montpellier really under the cosh in the early stages as PSG break at speed. Lucas Moura hacked down by Jamel Saihi, and it's a free-kick for the hosts in a promising position.
VERRATTI!! Really bright start from PSG, and the roar of approval says it all! Cross from Van der Wiel finds Cavani, but Verratti takes it early, with Pionnier making a sweet save tipped behind for a corner.
Brilliant flick through for Pastore, after a neat move by Verratti. Towards Moura, who connects with Van der Wiel, but neither can get a decent effort on goal.
PASTORE! Strong start from the champion. Pastore bursts through the middle and takes an effort on his right foot, but narrowly shaves the bar with Pionnier beaten.
Explosive run by Jeremy Menez who gets past four Montpellier players before being forced off in the penalty box. Pastore takes over possession, but neither can evade Deplagne.
PSG turning up the heat already. Great shot from Lucas Moura by distance, but it is a good parry from Pionnier, at a decent height. Verratti attempts to connect with the loose ball in the area, but cannot get past Stambouli.
Jeremy Menez bundled over by Camara, and the free kick is played forward by Pastore, towards Digne. But Laurent Pionnier claims possession of the ball.
Referee Olivier Thual gets us started at the Parc des Princes, in the final match of the last 32 of the Coupe de France.
Lyon too were trailing against minnows Yzeure, but they've turned that around. 3 goals in 10 minutes, the latest from Steed Malbranque putting them ahead, and through to the last 16.
And before we start our coverage of tonight's game, a giantkilling result! Fifth division Ile Rousse, who play in the CFA2 league have knocked out holders Bordeaux 4-3 on penalties, after a 0-0 draw.
