Good evening in goal for the Parisian shot-stopper. Did everything asked of him, even if the opposition didn't really test him as strenuously as expected.
A positive performance from the left-back who went about his duties efficiently. Didn't really attack as much as expected from the flank.
The 19-year-old is fast becoming one of the top defenders in Europe. Another productive evening, including a second goal in two games, and third in five for PSG. His positional movement and ability to read the game was second to none.
The former Chelsea defender managed to limit the supply towards Oscar Cardozo and also succeeded in curtailing Nico Gaitan's creativity. Struggled with pace though.
G. van der Wiel
Van der Wiel fared well against the threat imposed by the Benfica wingers, but struggled with tracking opposition runs. A threat in attack too, providing some dangerous deliveries.
Verratti once more was the creative hub in the PSG midfield, having a hand in two of PSG's goals to cap off another strong performance for the talented 20-year-old.
His aptitude for set-pieces showed once again this evening, as PSG scored twice in the first half. Picked up an assist for Ibrahimovic's goal.
The dynamic midfielder highlighted his strength in the middle of the park, dispossessing his opponents and powering forward with ease.
Not the best night in front of goal for Cavani who was upstaged by Ibrahimovic, and denied by Artur. Whether he can complement the Swede, or whether the Swede inhibits him, is another question altogether.
Lavezzi linked up well with Ibrahimovic and provided power and creativity on the left wing. Tailed off a little in the second half, as he was replaced.
The star of the night. Showed fluidity in his movement by alternating with Lavezzi and dropping to the wing. Notched two well-taken goals to set PSG on their way to an easy win. Could have, and perhaps should have had a hat-trick here tonight.
A decent evening from the Benfica goalkeeper who perhaps is the reason why PSG didn't get five or six. A couple of world class saves, but spilled a few shots too.
Siqueira highlighted his brief qualify right at the beginning, but struggled ever since. Couldn't test Van der Wiel, nor set up Oscar Cardozo for any kind of opening.
The veteran defender was the better of the Benfica defenders today. Produced a couple of well-timed blocks and interceptions that kept the score at three.
The Argentine centre-back failed to perform, and was easily beaten by Ibrahimovic, more so from set-pieces. He was no threat whatsoever aerially.
Djuricic fared poorly against the French champions as he was closed down often, and fed off scraps and loose balls. Was kept on lock for much of the evening and replaced due to his inefficiency.
Like Almeida, Perez struggled on that right flank. Couldn't offer an attacking threat, and was closed down easily. Failed to seriously trouble Salvatore Sirigu in the PSG goal.
Came off in the first half with the score at 1-0 having picked up an injury.
Making his first start in over a month, the creative Argentine wasn't expected to be a distinct threat for les Parisiens, and so it proved. Had a poor relationship on the wing with Siqueira.
Fared a little better in comparison to his team-mates. Matic was an integral part in front of the defence, limiting PSG's creativity around the box.
The right-back disappointed, and was largely kept at arm's length by Maxwell. A few brief good passages of play, but offered little else.
Nowhere near a threat as expected. Part of it was his own undoing, with a couple of wayward attempts, but he also couldn't get past Marquinhos. Lack of effective supply played an integral part too.
Came on for the injured Fejsa, but failed to make an impact.
Came on at half-time to replace Djuricic, and managed a little better, dragging Benfica into testing PSG a little bit more. Highlighted his quality on the wing.
Replaced Gaitan, but couldn't assert his authority on the game, which was well over by then.
