That's it from me, Max Bentley, it's been a pleasure. Until next time, goodbye!
Parma's next match is away to Catania next Sunday afternoon whilst AC Milan travel to Russia to face Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
That result signals the third consecutive 1-1 draw for Roberto Donadoni's Parma.
That result moves Milan up to ninth whilst Parma rise to eleventh. Steady progress for Allegri's side but hopes of sustaining a Scudetto challenge seem unlikely.
So, it finishes all square after an entertaining second half. Milan perhaps shaded the game but failed to create clear-cut chances. A good point for Roberto Donadoni's side although their play in the final third of the pitch will surely concern the Crociati faithful.
FULL TIME AT STADIO ENNIO TARDINI! Parma and AC Milan share the spoils in a tightly-contested affair.
90' + 3'
Jonathan Biabiany does brilliantly to dash past two Milan defenders and loft a cross to the front post but Abbiati is on hand to avert the danger.
90' + 2'
Robinho lines up a freekick on the corner of the penalty box...but he strikes it straight into the wall. The former Real Madrid attacker has failed to make an impact since coming off the bench.
Few chances to report of in the closing stages and it seems this game is heading for a draw. Three minutes of stoppage time will be played.
Yellow Card Jonathan Biabiany
YELLOW CARD: Jonathan Biabiany goes into the referee's notebook after a mistimed lunge on Mattia De Sciglio.
Time running out for both sides. Will there be a late winner at Stadio Ennio Tardini? Five minutes to play...
MONTOLIVO TRIES TO DO A GALLOPPA! De Jong lays the freekick off for the Italian and his stinging 25 yard effort is palmed around the post by Mirante.
SUBSTITUTION: Final roll of the dice for Allegri's side as Giampaolo Pazzini replaces Bojan.
El Shaarawy has been much livelier this second half and again unleashes a venomous shot from distance. However, Mirante gets across to keep the sides level.
Amauri wins the ball in a challenge with De Jong and plays the ball forward to Parolo. The substitute's dipping drive is heading for the bottom corner but is turned away for a corner by Abbiati.
PARMA SUBSTITUTION: Gianluca Musacci takes a knock and is unable to continue. Marco Parolo is the final change for Donadoni's side.
Massimiliano Allegri looks animated down on the touchline and is ushering his players about the pitch. The 45-year-old has been under pressure after Milan's worst start to the season in 82 years. Can his side find another goal with 17 minutes remaining?
Ignazio Abate makes a marauding run down the right-hand wing and all he has to do is pick out a black and red shirt in the box but he contrives to pass straight to a Parma defender and a good chance goes begging. Bojan vents his frustration by berating the Italian right-back.
MILAN SUBSTITUTION: Robinho enters the fray at the expense of Boateng. Can the skillful Brazilian effect this game?
Bojan attempts to restore Milan's lead with a well struck effort from 20 yards but Mirante is equal to it.
Assist Gianluca Musacci
Goal Daniele Galloppa
GOOOALLLL PARMA!! Crociati score the equaliser from a well-taken set-piece. Gianluca Musacci lays the ball off to Daniele Galloppa on the edge of the box and his rasping left-footed drive fizzes under the wall and into the bottom right corner. No chance for Abbiati. 1-1!
Yellow Card Christian Abbiati
MILAN SUBSTITUTION: Massimiliano Allegri makes a change of his own, replacing Massimo Ambrosini with Riccardo Montolivo.
PARMA SUBSTITUTION: Aleandro Rosi's gametime is up and he is replaced by former-Inter Milan winger Jonathan Biabiany.
Mattia De Sciglio makes a rare surge forward from defence and cuts inside onto his right foot but his effort is comfortably foiled by Mirante.
Yellow Card Kevin-Prince Boateng
YELLOW CARD: Boateng is the second Milan player to be cautioned after a mistimed tackle on Gobbi.
Kevin Prince Boateng wins a corner for Milan after his rasping drive is tipped around the post by Mirante. Milan playing with a confident swagger now.
This game has really sprung to life and El Shaarawy looks to add to his tally, surging down the left-hand flank and ready to pull the trigger but he is denied by a wonderful last-ditch tackle from Zaccardo.
YEPES TO THE RESCUE! A cross is swung in from the right causing havoc in the Milan penalty area with Abbiati scrambling and as the ball reaches the back post, Massimo Gobbi is closing in for the tap-in but is denied by a wonderful goalline block from Yepes.
Nocerino tries his luck from the edge of the box and forces Mirante into a smart save down low to his left.
SUBSTITUTION: Parma respond to going behind by throwing on some fresh legs up front. Ishak Belfodil replaces Dorlan Pabón.
GOLDEN CHANCE FOR MILAN! Bojan has come to life in this game and swings in a wonderful cross for Boateng. The Ghanian international is unmarked and just a few yards out but inexplicably heads wide. That was a sitter!
Assist Bojan Krkic
Goal Stephan El Shaarawy
GOOOAAAAALLL MILAN!!! El Shaarawy adds to his double in midweek, latching onto Bojan's pass before surging past his marker and drilling the ball low through the legs of Mirante. Brilliant start to the second half for Allegri's side!
Bojan swivels brilliantly on the edge of the box and plays in El Shaarawy on the right but his dangerous low cross evades all the black and red shirts in the box and Parma breathe a sigh of relief.
Parma get the second half underway. Which side can break the deadlock?
The second half is only moments away!
Milan enjoyed 65% possession during that open period but only mustered one shot on target.
The Rossoneri have top goalscorer Giampaolo Pazzini on the bench today. Could he be the man to turn this game in Milan's favour?
Roberto Donadoni spoke earlier in the week of his connection with Milan being in the past and his side have certainly not given Massimo Allegri's side any favours so far.
AC Milan have a great record against Parma, winning 13 of their 18 Serie A encounters, drawing three and losing only two. Parma's last league victory came in a 1-0 home win back in March 2010.
HALF TIME AT STADIO ENNIO TARDINI. The sides goes into the break goalless.
Parma respond with a piledriver of their own and Ninis' fizzing drive flashes just wide of the post.
Much better from Allegri's side! El Shaarawy tees up Bojan on the edge of the box and the former Barcelona man curls a beautiful effort towards the top corner but sees it agonisingly bend over the crossbar.
El Shaarawy produces a bit of magic to skip past two defenders down the touchline but when he enters the penalty area he opts to pass and the move is cut out.
Milan are struggling to break down this resilient Parma rearguard. They switch the ball from left to right but cannot find that killer pass.
Bojan has been quiet so far but he wriggles past his marker to send a low shot just wide of the post. Shades of his predatory instinct there.
Sotiris Ninis begins to show why he was once described as the 'Greek Messi' and produces an excellent pass to set up Pabón on the left-hand side of the box. The Colombian striker fires his a left-footed drive across goal but Abbiati punches the ball clear.
De Jong assumes free-kick duties but wastefully chips the ball into the wall and Parma break.
El Shaarawy is beginning to drop deep in order to force an impact on the game. He tricks his way past a defender and is brought down on the edge of the box.
Bojan and El Shaarawy are struggling to link up a partnership so far and Milan's attempts on goal have been restricted to long range efforts. Ambrosini is the next to try his luck but slices his shot horribly over the bar.
Parma are growing back into this match after the early Milan pressure. Neither side has been in freescoring form so far this season and chances have been few and far between during the opening 27 minutes.
Rosi has posed as the biggest threat for the hosts so far and he once again gets in behind De Sciglio to provide the cross. Amauri seems the intended target but so far the Colombian defender Yepes has dealt well with the Brazilian.
Milan swing over a corner from the right but the ball is headed clear by Palletta. Parma winning the aerial battles so far.
PENALTY APPEAL! Gianluca Musacci's freekick deflects narrowly over the crossbar and from the resulting corner, Lucarelli goes down under a challenge from Zapata but the referee deems that there is not sufficient contact and waves play on.
Yellow Card Massimo Ambrosini
YELLOW CARD: Ambrosini is the first Milan player in the book after he pulls back Pabón. Good freekick opportunity for Donadoni's side here.
Parma haven't got the shooting boots on at the moment and Massimo Gobi's wild miscue falls invitingly for Aleandro Rosi who slices his shot and wide of the goal. Parma yet to test Abbiati.
Massimiliano Allegri will be pleased with the start his side have made but he knows that his side cannot afford to commit too many men forward this early on. Ambrosini and De Jong happy to sit back and break up play at the moment.
Milan starting to settle into their rhythm now and they force the best effort of the match so far when Abate's deep cross is met by the head of Boateng and it requires a brilliant parry from Mirante to keep the scores level.
Kevin Prince Boateng tees up a shot on his left foot from the edge of the box but his effort goes straight into the gloves of Antonio Mirante.
Parma counter attack down the right wing and it requires a good block to prevent Aleandro Rosi's cutback from reaching Amauri and Pabón in the box.
Speaking of which, Abate has been Milan's brightest performer so far and he is looking to support the attack at any given opportunity.
A mistake in the AC Milan lineup. Ignazio Abate starts at right-back with Mattia De Sciglio on the left. Apologies for any confusion.
Pause in play as Sotiris Ninis requires treatment. The Greek midfielder picked up a knock but should be able to continue.
Gabriel Paletta produces a crucial interception to prevent Stephan El Shaarawy from getting on the end of Kevin Prince Boateng's low cross.
The corner comes to nothing and is safely cleared by the Parma defence.
Good build up play down the right hand side by Milan and Abate's cross deflects out for a corner.
Yellow Card Aleandro Rosi
YELLOW CARD: Early caution for the Crociati when the referee deems that Aleandro Rosi dives under a challenge from Mario Yepes.
Daniele Galloppa plays the ball in behind the Milan defence for the onrushing Dorlan Pabón but his shot from an acute angle is comfortably saved by Abbiati. Good start from the hosts.
The teams are out on the field and it will be AC Milan who kick off this game. Let's go!
Former Rossoneri player Roberto Donadoni makes four changes with Gianluca Musacci, Sotiris Ninis, Aleandro Rosi and Dorlan Pabón coming into the starting XI.
AC Milan will be looking to build on their midweek 2-0 victory over Cagliari and Massimiliano Allegri has made six changes to his line-up, recalling Mario Yepes, Cristian Zapata, Massimo Ambrosini, Antonio Nocerino, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Bojan Krkic.
