Thanks for joining me, Mohammed Ali, tonight. Congratulations if you're a PSG fan. Enjoy the success, and I'll be back for more Ligue 1 action next weekend.
90' + 5'
THEY'VE DONE IT! Players rush all over on the touchline, and the champagne flows, the t-shirts are out. Carlo Ancelotti has sealed the title for PSG!
90' + 4'
FULL-TIME: PSG ARE CHAMPIONS OF FRANCE!!
90' + 4'
They're all on the sides of the pitch, Gameiro, Menez and the squad. It's going to be over here!
90' + 4'
We're over the allotted time, as PSG play the free-kick short and win a corner. The suspended PSG players rush down from the stands to join the field, It's all going to be over here.....
90' + 3'
90' + 3'
MENEZ! The winger races into the penalty box as his low shot is saved by Lopes. Menez off for David Beckham in the last minute.
90' + 2'
Not since the heady days of David Ginola in 1994 has PSG been at the top of the domestic game. Ginola commentating for French television here tonight, they're on the brink.
90' + 1'
90' + 1'
Gerard Houllier, Artur Jorge, and now Carlo Ancelotti. PSG set to claim only their third Ligue 1 title in their history.
Yellow Card Maxime Gonalons
FOUR minutes of additional time, and Sylvain Armand will come on for the Parisiens.
A minute to go in normal time, and PSG are just keeping the ball to themselves as they wind down the clock. The title's going to be won here. Ibrahimovic wins a free-kick on the edge.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Javier Pastore off for Clement Chantome.
Grenier with the free-kick, towards the far post, as Douchez opts to punch it away rather than claim it. Clever ball towards Gourcuff at the second attempt, but just over-hit!
Dabo attempts to progress down the left wing, and Christophe Jallet with a clumsy challenge on Mohamadou Dabo. PSG looking nervy once more, they're not about to throw this one away, now, are they?!
Well, that is weird. Clear handball by Motta, and it was seen by the referee, but he's rejected the appeals, believing it not to be deliberate. This has reinvigorated the hosts.
Penalty appeals here - and it's furiously waved away by referee Stephane Lannoy. Remi Garde fuming on the touchline. There was a handball by Motta.
Just over seven minutes left before PSG can open up the champagne and celebrate. They look unbelievably comfortable on the ball now. Just waiting for the clock to wind down, barring any late drama.
SUBSTITUTION: Lyon - Bafetimbi Gomis off for 18-year-old Faris Bahlouli. Remi Garde putting his faith in the youngsters.
Gourcuff aims to link up with Gomis, as Dabo delivers in a cross towards the back post. The standard has been poor from the wings this evening, and Alex's flick clears it away.
Salvatore Sirigu and Marco Verratti watch on with smiles on their faces, 13 minutes to go to seal a first Ligue 1 title in 19 years. You can forgive them for looking so positive!
SUBSTITUTION - LYON: Yassine Benzia makes way for Anthony Martial. Just not enough quality on the bench, as Remi Garde brings on the 17-year-old.
Lyon not providing any of that zip and urgency that we saw in the opening stages, a rather pathetic performance from the hosts in the second half. Easy for PSG to keep them at arm's length.
Lavezzi races forward once more, but the cross in from the left-wing is well denied by Fofana, as Ibrahimovic claims a free-kick after a late challenge. He's in some pain.
Free-kick drifted in by Grenier, into the path of Kone, and headed narrowly over the bar by Kone. More of the same, please!
Yellow Card Maxwell
Subdued atmosphere here in the Gerland as PSG continue to impose their superiority, but they have a chance here as Lannoy books Maxwell for a late lunge on Benzia after a short pass backwards.
Catch 22 for second placed Marseille. If Lyon win, the gap to second place and a place in the group stages of the Champions League is closed, but they can still win the title. If PSG win, the title race is, of course, over, but they'll secure a place in the group stages. Dilemma.
Free-kick afforded to Lyon after a poor challenge from Matuidi, and we have 23 minutes to go until full-time. Lyon need a goal to derail PSG's title party, but they've not tested Douchez in this second period.
PASTORE! Fine save from Lopes there. Fantastic run from Mazwell on the left, as his ball finds the midfielder inside the box. Pastore's first-time effort goalwards is well blocked by Lopes.
SUBSTITUTION - Lyon: Lisandro Lopez comes on for midfielder Arnold Mvuemba. Attacking change from Remi Garde, as the Argentine comes on.
Slight lull in play after Samuel Umtiti is caught in the mouth by Ibrahimovic. The Swede looks bemused, and asking what has he done to the referee.
Ibrahimovic's free-kick blocked by the wall, epitomises his rather disappointing performance this evening.
Lyon losing their patience at the moment as Grenier barges in on Thiago Motta, with the visitors winning yet another free-kick near the penalty box.
Lavezzi brings the ball away after a failed Lyon attack. Motta, towards Pastore and they're just calmly holding onto the ball at the minute. Carlo Ancelotti pensive, they're half an hour away from the title!
Half-chance for PSG there, as Jallet swings in a cross towards Motta, helped on towards Matuidi but it's hurriedly cleared by Kone. Lyon on the back-foot at the minute.
Jeremy Menez caught again by Samuel Umtiti, right in front of the penalty box. Free-kick in a dangerous position for the visitors. Can they make it count?
The Lyon defence were nowhere to be seen there, as Menez slots in an almighty goal for PSG. Can the hosts hit back? Marseille's win yesterday means only three points will confirm the title.
Out of nothing, and not even an element of celebration from the touchline as al-Khelaifi, Ancelotti and Leonardo watch on with concerned looks. They're not saying anything until full-time.
Assist Thiago Motta
Goal Jérémy Menez
GOAL! PSG 1-0!!! Maxime Gonalons dispossessed by Ibrahimovic, into the path of Jeremy Menez, who easily slots past Anthony Lopes. Title-winning goal here?
Ibrahimovic not even in the box to meet a Pastore cross, as PSG struggle at the minute. Menez with a low shot, and well saved by Lopes.
Motta seemed to obstract Dabo, which brought attention from the referee. He's only started a handful of games in Ligue 1 this season, and has been sent off twice!
GOURCUFF! Good strike, and good save from Douchez there. Meanwhile, referee Stephane Lannoy having a word with Thiago Motta, who is already on a yellow.
Calm start by the hosts at the beginning of this second half as they gently knock the ball around across the midfield. PSG patient at the moment.
BACK UNDERWAY AT STADE GERLAND! 45 minutes is all that stands between PSG and the Ligue 1 title - if we get a goal first!
0-0 at the end of the first half here in Lyon, and it's been a competitive game with chances at both ends. Lyon have gone close, namely through Grenier and Benzia, with Ibrahimovic and Maxwell giving Lopes a busy first 45. All to play for, but as it stands, PSG will NOT win the title tonight.
HALF-TIME: Olympique Lyonnais 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain.
45' + 2'
Well, it's Ibrahimovic that's headed it away for a corner. Gourcuff over this one. And as soon as the corner is taken, the whistle goes. Awkward.
45' + 1'
Free-kick handed to Lyon after Benzia tripped by Motta once more. We've had the additional minute already. Can Lyon grab the lead at the death here. Grenier on the ball.
ONE MINUTE added on at the end of the first half.
Coming upto the hand of a competitive first half here at Stade de Gerland in Lyon. Kone with a superb block to intercept a pass intended for Ibrahimovic, whose performance has been flat to say the least.
Yellow Card Thiago Motta
YELLOW CARD - Thiago Motta the first PSG man into the book after an off-the-ball challenge on Yassine Benzia. Very late, and he joins Gourcuff with a caution.
Grenier unwittingly hands Pastore the ball, as the Argentine races up the other end. Ball into Jallet on the right wing, but the cross is poor and easily dealt with by Umtiti.
Seven minutes to go until half-time, as Motta plays a pass towards Pastore, who embarks on a mazy run. In towards Ibrahimovic, but he can't connect with a pass.
DABO! The left-back opts for goal despite options available through the middle, and his right footed attempt sails over Nicholas Douchez' goal. Poor effort.
Yellow Card Yoann Gourcuff
Free-kick floated in from the right, and Lopes with a fine catch under pressure. Lyon break, through Gourcuff, but the wicked cross towards Gomis cannot reach the outstretched Gomis. Nice idea though.
YELLOW CARD! Yoann Gourcuff booked after a tough challenge on PSG captain Christophe Jallet. Awkward fall that the PSG man suffered too. Free-kick.
Menez sent tumbling by Mohamadou Dabo in the Lyon penalty box, and remains on the floor despite play going on. PSG have a free-kick after Benzia clips Matuidi.
Fofana a real menace on the right wing in the first half so far, but he runs the ball out of play, allowing PSG to counter quickly. Pastore attempting to find Pastore with a well-angled pass, but that too is overhit.
Half an hour in, and it's Olympique Lyonnais 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain, as France assistant coach Guy Stephan watches on to check up on the likes of Matuidi, Gonalons, Jallet - France play Brazil in June.
Motta feeds the ball towards Matuidi, as he opts for a long pass towards Maxwell on the left, but it's well deflected by Benzia as Lyon come away with the ball.
Menez blocked by Benzia, but the visitors win a throw-in still. Maxwell with a fine one two, on the overlap into the penalty box, but it's a brilliant tackle from Kone which puts the ball behind for a corner.
Pressure growing from the Parisiens, but Lyon hold firm at the moment. Referee Lannoy spots an unfair challenge from Benzia on Matuidi, and affords the visitors a free-kick.
Fabulous through ball by Javier Pastore there, in towards Jeremy Menez. Goalkeeper came rushing off his line immediately. Meanwhile, Yoann Gourcuff penalised for a challenge.
MENEZ! Great stop by Lopes! PSG now attacking at the other end, as the winger diverts a shot which is well parried by the young goalkeeper. Headed away by Umtiti, as in the end, Mvuemba wins a free-kick after being hauled down.
Tense moments at the back for Lyon as Ibrahimovic lifts the ball towards Lavezzi, who slips under the challenge of Umtiti, as Lopes hurriedly clambers towards the ball amidst a scramble.
And that's disappointing to say the least. Ibrahimovic over the ball, and he drills it into the wall, as Fofana clears at the first attempt. 20 minutes gone, 0-0.
Challenge by Burkinabe defender Bakary Kone on Jeremy Menez, he's just gone straight through him there. Lucky not to have been booked there, but PSG have a free-kick to test Lopes.
Jallet attempts to kick-start the PSG revival, as he links up with Ibrahimovic. The ball across the floor on the right is over-hit, and it's a goal-kick for the hosts.
Well, it's the home side who have hit the ground running here. Seriously enterprising effort from Fofana who links expertly with Benzia down this right wing, he wins a throw-in near the corner flag for his efforts.
Corner to Lyon, who lead shots on target 4-1 already. Corner drilled in from the left, helped on but cleared hurriedly by Alex before Motta wins a free-kick after being challenged by Gonalons.
GRENIER! DOUCHEZ SAVES AGAIN! Another marvellous, if not awkward save from the goalkeeper. Grenier with the inswinging delivery, yet the ball travels to the far side of goal, and requires the goalkeeper to tip it over the bar.
Ouch. Not a good tackle from Menez on Benzia, catches the young star deep. Lyon with a free-kick in a dangerous position here.
DOUCHEZ! Top save. Benzia with a fine effort outside the area, and the PSG goalkeeper with a fantastic leg-first save. The ball was moving wickedly in the air.
Still, Lyon look threatening going forward. Whether the likes of Benzia and Lopes can star on a night like this remains to be seen. Bisevac, Lovren and Lisandro the ones to make way for the young guard.
Close again from Lyon. Fofana with a delightful ball in from the right, as Benzia gets up to the ball ahead of Alex, but the young winger cannot head the ball on target, as it flies wide.
Benzia caught offside on the right wing, as PSG win a free-kick. Douchez in goal, taking the free-kick - in the side as Salvatore Sirigu serves a two match ban for his part in the brawl which marred the draw against Evian two weeks ago.
All calmed down a little since that frenzied opening. PSG haven't won here in the league since 2004-05 season, at the height of the Lyon domnance in Ligue 1.
CLEARED OFF THE LINE! What a start at both ends here. Corner delivered in deep, headed away, and fired back towards Ibrahimovic. A block on the line by Dabo! Superb stuff.
Ibrahimovic complements the PSG counter as Lavezzi breaks. Long ball from Maxwell into the Swede, sees the striker hold up the ball before aiming an effort towards Lopes. Headed away by Dabo.
GOMIS! Great save by Douchez. All the early pressure from Lyon here as the corner is delivered in by Gourcuff, met by the striker, who is denied by Douchez's left-handed save!
PSG booed as they get started, and Anthony Lopes calmly collects a long ball. It's his fourth Ligue 1 start, as he plays the ball towards Clement Grenier, his early shot blocked.
Lyon 2008, Bordeaux 2009, Marseille 2010, Lille 2011 and Montpellier 2012. Can PSG 2013 be added to that list tonight? We'll find out. UNDERWAY IN LYON!
What an atmosphere. Midnight City and ticker tape blares out, as OL and PSG shake hands under the setting sun here in the Rhone region. Kick-off minutes away. It's a huge game.
Leonardo takes his seat next to club president Nasser al Khelaifi, after embracing OL president Jean-Michel Aulas. The Brazilian is provisionally suspended following the incident surrounding referee Alexandre Castro.
The teams are out, and it's a sell-out at the Gerland. Tonight;s referee is Stephane Lannoy.
TEAM NEWS: Arnold Mvuemba is preferred to Steed Malbranque in midfield, as Yassine Benzia is handed a start ahead of Lisandro Lopez on the bench. PSG meanwhile are without the suspended Silva, Verratti as Thiago Motta returns. David Beckham is on the bench.
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN: Douchez - Jallet, Alex, Sakho, Maxwell - Thiago Motta, Matuidi, Ménez, Pastore - Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi
OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS: Lopes - Dabo, Koné, Umtiti, Fofana - Gonalons, Mvuemba - Gourcuff, Grenier, Benzia - Gomis
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
Lyon have recovered from their poor form, with three wins to consolidate third place. Like Marseille, they can return to a competition they have graced in recent years, after plying their trade in the Europa League this season.
In any case, Remi Garde's side are fighting for something too tonight. A win for them, and the Champions League return is all but sealed. They sit three points ahead of Lille in the final qualifying spot, having played a game less. This was the objective set by Jean-Michel Aulas at the start of the season, and a win tonight, will not only derail PSG, but liven up the title race.
PSG are unbeaten in the league since mid-March, and they've scored in each of their last eight games, and have have lost just one of their last nine against Olympique Lyonnais. THree points, and they'll resist the late challenge put together by Olympique de Marseille.
The Evian brawl. David Beckham and Marco Verratti's red cards in Annecy. Salvatore Sirigu's red card debacle. Thiago Silva's shock sending off. Valenciennes' draw. Leonardo's push on the referee, and finally rumours of Ancelotti's departure. All is not well in Paris, but you wouldn't know they're on the brink of a championship!
Only a win will do. That's the message Carlo Ancelotti will tell his players tonight, just before they take to the field at Stade Gerland. After two weeks of nervous, tense moments, the mood hasn't always been positive in the capital. But all can be sealed in the next two hours, if the league leaders hold their nerve.
