  • FT Norwich 4-0 West Brom
  • It's a bad result for Steve Clarke, but shoudn't take the gloss off what has been a genuinely great season for the Baggies. They have achieved their record points total for a Premier League season and should end the day still in eight position. Not too bad for many peoples pick for relegation.
  • There we go, it's full time at Carrow Road and Norwich have secured the win which guarnatees them a third successive season in the Premier League, and they've done it in some style. The 4-0 scoreline was richly deserved as Norwich came out with attacking intent right from the off. West Brom simply couldn't contain them today and also struggled to carve out their own opportunities.
  • 90'
    Assist Luciano Becchio
  • 90'
    Goal Jonny Howson
GOAL! Maybe he can't, but Jonny Howson certainly can. It's a fantastic finish from Howson who curls the ball past Foster into the top-left corner of the goal. It's just his second goal for Norwich, but it was worth the wait.
  • 90'
We're into stoppage time at the end of this second-half and Norwich will almost be wanting to keep playing. It's going to be there biggest win of the season by quite some margin as well as seeing them safely n the top-flight for another year. As for West Brom, well, it's a day to forget for Steve Clarke's team.
  • 88'
It's Becchio who comes on for Holt. The January arrival from Leeds has struggled somewhat since his move, can he grab a goal here?
  • 87'
    Substitution Grant Holt Luciano Becchio
  • 85'
Grant Holt makes way for Norwich. He is given a resounding round of applause from the home fans for his effort today and his goal helped seal what will be an impressive win for the Canaries.
  • 83'
Pilkington goes close for Norwich! It's a great save from Foster as he tips the winger's goalbound effort around the post. The home side aren't finished yet.
  • 81'
    Substitution Romelu Lukaku Peter Odemwingie
  • 81'
It has been a frustrating afternoon for the departing Lukaku. The young Belgian has had barely any support leading the line for the Baggies but when he did find himself in some decent areas, often his final ball or touch was not good enough.
  • 79'
Norwich are keeping an excellent defensive shape here and an extended spell of possesion from the away team is eventualy ended by a heavy touch from Long. There's just no way through a resolute Canaries back line for West Brom.
  • 77'
    Substitution Robert Snodgrass Elliott Bennett
  • 77'
    Substitution Wesley Hoolahan Alexander Tettey
  • 77'
Eliot Bennett is about to come on for the last 15 minutes in place of Robert Snodgrass. The winger is applauded as he leaves the pitch, and rightly so. He was the difference between the two sides in the first-half and his goal gave them the platform to go on and dominate this game.
  • 75'
West Brom starting to fashion a few chances of their own here. Both Billy Jones and Shane Long test Ruddy with low shots, but neither can find the required power and the former-England international is untroubled.
  • 73'
Norwich, no longer needing to chase another goal look much more relaxed. They are on course to rack up their biggest win of the season and there is a celebratory feel around Carrow Road. It's been a rotten few months for their fans but with Premier League football all but secured for another season, it all seems worth it.
  • 72'
Hoolahan picks up a yellow for a sliding challenge on Shane Long. And that is about all you can say about Long so far in this match. The West Brom forward has been dreadful today and offered none of his usual, tenacious style of unsettling an opposition defence.
  • 71'
    Yellow Card Wesley Hoolahan
  • 68'
Surely there is no way back for West Brom now after Gareth McAuley's own goal puts them three behind against an invigorated Norwich side. The Canaries have put in an impressive display today despite the immense pressure they were under and have outclassed a West Brom side who are - as the cliche goes - already on the beach.
  • 65'
    Own Goal Gareth McAuley
GOAL! And it is three for Norwich! McAuley has nodded in an O.G. under all sorts of pressure from Holt. And more importantly, it looks like Norwich are staying up.
  • 63'
It really was a howler from the West Brom keeper. He makes no contact with his attempted clearance and allows the ball to run through to Holt who is left with a completely unguarded net to tap in to.
  • 62'
    Goal Grant Holt
GOAL! Grant Holt is the grateful recipient after a dreadful error from Ben Foster. He totally miss-hits his attempted clearance and leaves Holt with the the chance to take the easiest goal he will ever score.
  • 60'
Fantastic ball in from Snodgrass. It all stems from a lovely passing move from Norwich - and you don't here that every week - and ends with a brave attempt to get his head on the cross from Grant Holt. Unfortunately he can't make contact and Foster holds.
  • 59'
Lukaku is still getting into dangerous areas but can't quite convert them into clear-cut chances. This time he tries a one-two with Chris Brunt but the return ball evades him.
  • 57'
There's more pressure from Norwich as Johnson delivers the ball from the left and his cross is spilled by Ben Foster. Luckily for West Brom the ball falls to a defender rather than one of the lurking Norwich attackers and they can clear.
  • 55'
Great chance for Snodgrass after he receives Holt's flick on and breaks away towards the West Brom goal. However the goalscorer clearly fancied another and decided to go alone rather than squaring it for one of his two teammates who were much better placed. Let off for West Brom.
  • 52'
The home fans are well behind their side here. They know they will be safe with a win and must be happy with the way things have gone so far. The Canaries barely look in any danger and are the likelier team to score right now.
  • 49'
Lukaku has a chance top deliver a ball into the Norwich box after breaking away down the left hand side. His cross is woefully disappointing though and the expression on the youngsters face shows that he knows it.
  • 48'
    Yellow Card Jonas Olsson
  • 48'
Olsson seems keen on hogging the limelight in this second-half. Not content with surviving a huge shout for handball the defender clatters into Grant Holt and concedes a free-kick. He is also shown a yellow card for his troubles.
  • 47'
Appeals for a penalty from Norwich! The ball spins up and hits Jonas Olsson in the box, Norwich are adamant it struck his arm but Howard Webb disagrees. Pilkington will be disappointed that he couldn't finish eh chance anyway though. He failed to connect with his volley from point-blank range.
  • 46'
    Substitution Markus Rosenberg Chris Brunt
  • 46'
    Substitution Steven Reid Billy Jones
  • 46'
Early chance for West Brom. Lukaku finds a little space in the box but can't direct his shot on target. Both Billy Jones and Chris Brunt have been introduced here to try and inject some life into the Baggies, can they make the difference?
  • 45'
The teams are on their way out for the second-half. Norwich will be hoping they can grab a second here and put some daylight between them and West Brom. 1-0 is a dangerous scoreline for Chris Hughton's men.
  • So will West Brom actually show up for this second-half? They haven't contributed a lot so far and will need to show a lot more cutting edge if they want to get back into this one.
  • Howard Webb blows his whistle to signal the end of a first-half which Norwich will be more than happy with. They lead West-Brom by one goal to nil thanks to Robert Snodgrass's 25th minute strike. The Canaries have been the better side as well but West Brom shouldn't be ruled out of this one. In Long, Lukaku and Rosenberg they have plenty of attackers on the pitch capable of making a difference.
  • 45' + 1'
    Yellow Card Jonny Howson
  • 45'
It's a corner from the home side at the end of this first-half, the ball hits the first man though and now it's West Brom's turn to break. They take the ball all the way up the other end only for Lukaku to be flagged offside as he tries to get to Rosenburg's knock-down.
  • 44'
Every time West Brom try to commit men forward they are then forced back by Norwich on the counter. This time Howson breaks forward but his ball in is poor and West Brom can clear. Norwich look like they have goals in them though.
  • 43'
There's a few more nervy moments for West Brom fans from the corner. They fail to clear the initial ball in and are only saved by an offside flag as Norwich pile on the pressure. Canaries clearly hungry for a second goal.
  • 40'
Up the other end Hoolahan almost scores a fantastic long-range goal. Fortunately for West Brom Ben Foster is on hand to brilliantly tip the ball over and now Norwich have a corner.
  • 40'
No worries for Norwich, Ruddy comes to claim with ease after the ball is pumped into the home side's area.
  • 39'
The Baggies do have a free-kick in a dangerous area here though...
  • 38'
Lukaku looks to be the only West Brom player with any ambition so far. He has found his way into some promising positions but is often left isolated with Long and Rosenberg struggling to get into the game. Norwich will be grateful they're playing a side with nothing left to challenge for.
  • 35'
West Brom have a corner after Lukaku's cross is blocked by Martin. The ball in is over-hit though and the away side are still searching for an equaliser.
  • 34'
Norwich have managed just eight wins all season, all of those wins being by a one goal margin. Expect this one to be tight.
  • 33'
Martin puts in another dangerous ball from the right, but Hoolahan can't control his early cross and West Brom can clear.
  • 32'
A win today will be just Norwich's third ion their last 19 games, a run which began with defeat to West Brom last time these two met. More importantly it will lift them six points clear of relegation and almost certainly secure Premier League football for another season.
  • 30'
The goal came from a cross from Martin. The ball was nodded down to Hoolahan who couldn't beat Foster with his initial effort but the rebound fell to Snodgrass who smashed the ball over Olsson on the line from a tight angle. Nice finish from Norwich's top scorer.
  • 27'
That is Snodgrass's seventh goal of the season and is surely one of the most important. The tension has been lifted at Carrow Road and suddenly safety seems a whole lot closer for the home fans.
  • 25'
    Goal Robert Snodgrass
GOAL! Snodgrass opens the scoring for Norwich. Hoolahan's initial effort is blocked by Foster but the Scot is on hand to lash the ball into the roof of an empty net.
  • 24'
Pilkington stings the palms of Foster in the West Brom goal! He cuts into the box and lets fly but his shot is straight at the Englishman.
  • 22'
Not too many chances for either side so far but Norwich are certainly the better side. West Brom seem to have their minds on their holidays already and there is a distinct lack of urgency from the team safely in mid-table. Chris Hughton will be disappointed that his side have failed to fashion many decent opportunities so far though.
  • 21'
And now it is Sndograss's turn to make his way into the opposition penalty area. Yacob gets to the winger though and shepherds the ball back to his keeper.
  • 19'
Lukaku burst into the box down the right and his ball into the middle is blocked by Bassong. The West Brom players appeal for a penalty but nothing doing says the referee.
  • 17'
Howson goes in late on Morrison and gives away the free-kick. Perhaps lucky to escape without a card there the Norwich midfielder.
  • 14'
Yacob and Mulumbu are providing an excellent shield for the West Brom defence as ever. Not much joy for Norwich when they try to play through the middle.
  • 11'
And this time it is Garrido who puts the ball into the West Brom box. Chris Hughton clearly instructing his men to utilise the wings and make the most out of Holt's presence in the middle, but Foster is there to claim confidently.
  • 9'
Snodgrass whips in a dangerous ball from the right hand side, Holt is there to challenge but West Brom clear. Canaries still looking lively.
  • 5'
Norwich have come out fighting here. The Canaries look full of confidence and are clearly planning on taking the game to the visitors.
  • We're underway here in Norwich. All the pressure is on the home side, can they step up to the plate and grab all three points?
  • West Brom do posses a fantastic record at Carrow Road though. The Baggies have won all of their last three visits and will be confident they can do the same here today.
  • Norwich do face a trip to Manchester City on the final day of the season however so will be hoping to have secured their top-flight status for another season by the time the final whistle is blown today.
  • A win today for Norwich would take the home side to 41 points, and surely safety. The Canaries have three more points than 18th placed Wigan who have Arsenal and Aston Villa still to play. Chris Hughton's side have Swansea to thank overcoming the Latics 3-2 in Tuesday night's game, a result which makes Wigan overwhelming favorites for the drop.
  • West Brom will continue their experiment with three up front. Lukaku, Long and Rosenburg all start for the visitors in an attacking line-up from Steve Clarke.
  • So for Norwich John Ruddy is set to make his long awaited comeback after suffering a thigh injury in November which has seen him replaced by Mark Bunn in recent months, while centre-back Michael Turner remains on the sidelines with a groin problem.
  • West Brom: Foster, Reid, Olsson, Popov, McAuley, Yacob, Morrison, Mulumbu, Rosenburg, Long, Lukaku.
  • So let's have some team news shall we? Norwich line up as follows: Ruddy, R Martin, Bassong, Garrido, R Bennet, Johnson, Snodgrass, Howson, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Holt.
  • West Brom on the other hand can come into this game with a much more relaxed attitude after already securing their record points total for a Premier League season. Steve Clarke's men lie in eight position and look likely to remain there come the end of campaign.
  • Norwich find themselves just three points from the relegation zone today with two left to play. They will be desperate for at least a point here to drag them closer to safety.
  • Good afternoon and welcome to Goal.com's live coverage of Norwich City v West Brom at Carrow Road.
