  • FULL-TIME: Norwich City 1-0 Tottenham. A massive, massive win for the relegation-threatened Canaries, as they fight off concerted late pressure from Tottenham to seal a deserved victory over Chris Hughton's former side, whose own Champions League push takes a huge dent. Snodgrass' excellent goal just moments into the second period moves Norwich into 14th and, most crucially, four points clear of the relegation zone to arrest the slide of four league games without a win.
  • 90' + 2'
    Yellow Card John Ruddy
  • 90' + 1'
Chadli thinks he has been fouled in the penalty area by Johnson as the midfielder tracks back to deal with the winger, whose cross sails out of play, but referee Craig Pawson is unmoved by his penalty claims.
  • 89'
Dawson is booked for cynically hauling down Hooper, who has been excellent since coming on but the hosts are fortunate to survive when Chadli clips a cross in and Spurs somehow fail to get any meaningful connection on the ball as a goalmouth scramble ensues.
  • 88'
    Yellow Card Michael Dawson
  • 87'
Wes Hoolahan comes on to replace Redmond, who has worked tirelessly on the left and Norwich go close once more, with Hooper running through and unselfishly teeing up Tettey, but he cannot quite direct an effort towards goal as Spurs survive. It is remarkable how the home side have not sealed all three points yet.
  • 86'
    SubstitutionNathan Redmond Wesley Hoolahan
  • 85'
CROSSBAR: Norwich desperately close to a second as Johnson's ferocious strike from a dead ball crashes back off the underside of the bar before Hooper collects the rebound and slides in Redmond, whose effort is too close to Lloris. That would have sealed the win and how.
  • 83'
Sherwood knows he must go for it now and introduces the attack-minded Townsend for Rose but it is Norwich who continue to offer more in attack as Hooper knocks down Johnson's crossfield pass to the onrushing Snodgrass, but he is slightly off balance and his right-footed effort flies over the bar.
  • 82'
    SubstitutionDanny Rose Andros Townsend
  • 81'
Dembele does brilliantly to feed the unmarked Chadli inside Snodgrass and Martin and, while his first touch was excellent, he could not beat the superb Ruddy, who spread himself to block the winger's goalbound effort.
  • 79'
    Yellow Card Jan Vertonghen
  • 79'
Hooper wins his side a free-kick after some intelligent forward play to draw a foul from Vertonghen after some neat football down the right. Snodgrass takes and flights it delightfully but his shot crashes into the side netting. Close, but Lloris looked like he had had it covered.
  • 77'
Bentaleb loses possession too cheaply and trips Snodgrass as the Scot looked to feed a ball between the lines into midfield. A win for the Canaries here would take them up to 14th in the table.
  • 75'
Adebayor and Soldado have shown some neat linkup play since the latter's arrival but, on this occasion, the ball is overhit by Adebayor and Ruddy is able to collect easily.
  • 73'
Chadli whips a ball into the area but Yobo is there first to head away for a corner. From the subsequent set piece, Naughton is unable to beat the first man as Spurs' frustrations in front of goal continue.
  • 72'
    SubstitutionRicky van Wolfswinkel Gary Hooper
  • 71'
Gary Hooper is being readied to come on and face a side he had a trial with at the age of 14. Unlike Spurs, however, Hughton does not revert to 4-4-2 and it is a straight swap for Van Wolfswinkel.
  • 69'
Another deep cross is headed back across goal by a Tottenham head but there is no-one at the back post for the visitors, who are able to clear before Chadli tricks his way past Martin and supplies the ball for Adebayor but his header is wayward. Norwich holding firm here.
  • 67'
WHAT A MISS: Soldado squandered a sitter in the week at Dnipro and it's a similar story here, thrashing the ball wide after Adebayor had done everything in his powers to set up the sub following good work from Lennon. He almost atones for his error but cannot quite direct his header goalwards from a Lennon centre.
  • 65'
    SubstitutionPaulinho Roberto Soldado
  • 65'
Bassong has to get his side out of a hole once more as he reacts quickest to a cross in from the left by Rose after Joseph Yobo had contrived to miss his clearance. Spurs' gradual influence on this game almost rubs off when Paulinho slips in Adebayor but his touch is heavy and he will be grateful for Soldado's introduction, as the Spaniard replaces Paulinho.
  • 63'
Spurs waste a presentable opening as Dembele and Paulinho link up to feed the ball into the feet of Adebayor but Bassong, who has marshalled his defence so well, is in quickly to steal the ball off his toes having been outmuscled by the Togolese frontman for his chance moments earlier.
  • 61'
The two sides trade chances in a matter of minutes as Adebayor advances on goal but is stifled at the last by John Ruddy's brave goalkeeping before Snodgrass - Norwich's best player this afternoon - stings the palms of Lloris with a rasping strike.
  • 59'
Johnson almost picks out Olsson's rampaging run down the left wing with a raking crossfield pass but the full back is unable to gather the ball as it bounces out for a goal kick. The Swede had done well to elude Lennon, who was ball watching.
  • 57'
Norwich are quickly back on the counter attack, however, and if Redmond had picked his head up, he would have seen Van Wolfswinkel peeling away from his marker in acres of space on the far side. As it was, he attempted to take on three Tottenham players and was eventually crowded out. A bit of a let off, there, for Spurs.
  • 55'
Bassong has to have his wits about him to deny Adebayor before the Togolese and Chadli link up well to earn Spurs a corner.
  • 53'
Sherwood is prowling the touchline, trying to evoke a reaction out of his side who have not turned up so far. They are keeping possession well but with Harry Kane, Roberto Soldado and Andros Townsend on the bench, surely a change is in the offing?
  • 51'
Tottenham building slowly but Norwich are getting through a lot of groundwork to deny the Champions League chasers the space they need to get close to an increasingly isolated Adebayor.
  • 49'
Norwich come forward again as they look to grab a quickfire second but Vertonghen is alert enough to head back to Lloris before Van Wolfswinkel can nip in. Tottenham look shellshocked here.
  • 47'
    Assist Bradley Johnson
  • 47'
    Goal Robert Snodgrass
GOAL! Snodgrass breaks the deadlock and Norwich City have a richly-deserved and crucial opener. Rose is slack in possession over on the left and when the ball is released through to the Scot, he brings the ball onto his favoured left foot and curls it into the far corner to send Carrow Road into delirium.
  • 46'
Spurs get us back underway for the second half here. Can either side force a breakthrough?
  • Blocks have been flying in from both sides, as frustrations have been rising in general. Snodgrass and Olsson have been threatening for Norwich, with Van Wolfswinkel still looking frightened of the opportunity to score. Lennon and Chadli have caused a few problems on the flanks for Spurs, with Adebayor looking isolated. It's defensive problems that could be the visitors' undoing, however.
  • HALF TIME! The corner comes to nothing for Norwich, and that's it for the opening 45 minutes! No goals for the home side, as usual, with Van Wolfswinkel less than uninspiring. Spurs have had their chances too, but it's more of a case of Norwich living up to their negative stereotype - playing well but earning nothing as a result.
  • 45' + 1'
Fer is brought down on the right flank, around 30 yards from goal, allowing for Snodgrass to deliver with his wand of a left foot. The Scotland international whips the ball to the back post, with Johnson looking to win the header, but Lloris is quick off his line to beat the cross behind for a corner.
  • 45'
Naughton looks long for Adebayor, as the Togo international tries to win the aerial battle over Bassong, but the ball is too heavy, bouncing through to Ruddy. Adebayor is happy to jostle with the two Canaries' centre-halves, but the service and support hasn't been consistently impressive.
  • 43'
Well claimed by Ruddy! Naughton overlaps down the right hand side, before curling a cross towards the head of Adebayor. Ruddy does well to race out and catch the delivery above the head of the opposition striker.
  • 41'
Less than five minutes until the break, and Norwich can be buoyed by their first half performance, they've definitely threatened on the break. Much like Dnipro on Thursday, the Canaries have pace and quality in wide areas, which at times has dragged the Spurs' defence around.
  • 39'
Great challenge from Lennon! The pacey winger races back into a central area, getting goalside of Fer, before robbing the former FC Twente midfielder of the ball. As to why he was positioned there, nobody knows, but it was excellent tracking back nonetheless.
  • 37'
Norwich continue to break relentlessly, taking advantage of the rather worrying trait of Tim Sherwood's side, that they're always wide open. Though they offer more of a threat going forward, there have been plenty of gaps appearing at the back for Spurs, especially with Rose and Naughton's tendency to push on somewhat.
  • 35'
VAN WOLFSWINKEL! What a chance spurned by the former Sporting forward! A mistake from Dawson allows the Dutchman in behind the visitors' lines, but Van Wolfswinkel wastes too much time, allowing recovering defenders to get back. Vertonghen makes the vital sliding challenge.
  • 34'
BASSONG! The Norwich centre-half rises highest in the Spurs' penalty area, but he can't quite stretch to reach Snodgrass' delivery! It was helped on unintentionally to the back post by the outstretched leg of Rose, but the Cameroon international couldn't find the goalscoring touch.
  • 33'
JOHNSON! The former Leeds midfielder tries his luck from range, but his shot loops into the air, before Van Wolfswinkel is unable to control the loose ball to thrash an effort towards Lloris' front post.
  • 32'
    Yellow Card Mousa Dembele
  • 32'
Fer and Dembele have a case of handbags, with the Belgian midfielder needing to be calmed down by Tettey. Frustrations are perhaps rising a little, with both sides being regularly foiled by opposition defenders making good blocks.
  • 25'
Good block by Bentaleb! The French youngster throws himself of a Snodgrass shot, after the Scottish winger cut in from the right hand side. Spurs are having to weather the storm a little here, with the Canaries really pushing on.
  • 24'
TETTEY! Ambitious, but high, wide and not very handsome from the Norwegian midfielder. This game is very open, with Hughton's side giving a good account of themselves in the opening half an hour.
  • 23'
OLSSON! Great work from the former Blackburn left-back, who rockets to the byeline, before cutting a ball back into the penalty area! It's a reasonable delivery, but it evades both Snodgrass and Tettey!
  • 22'
PAULINHO! The Brazilian midfielder curls over from the edge of the box, after Chadli and Adebayor linked up well in the build-up. The Togolese striker is having to be at his physical best to stand up to the strength of Yobo and Bassong.
  • 17'
Tottenham win two free kicks in quick succession after Martin hauls down Lennon before Van Wolfswinkel barges into Spurs skipper Michael Dawson. The hosts are really getting stuck into Sherwood's side here.
  • 15'
Jan Vertonghen is forced to concede a corner from which Alexander Tettey narrowly misses after a dangerous ball in from Bradley Johnson towards his defensive midfield partner.
  • 13'
    SubstitutionEtienne Capoue Nacer Chadli
  • 13'
Capoue has to be replaced and it is Nacer Chadli who comes on to replace the Frenchman. It results in a tactical shuffle for Sherwood, with Chadli and Lennon flanking Adebayor and Dembele moving back into a central role to accompany Paulinho and Nabil Bentaleb.
  • 11'
A long pass down the wing is intended for Olsson, who had run off the back of Naughton, but the ball sails out of play for a goal kick.
  • 9'
Mousa Dembele almost springs the offside trap from Aaron Lennon's pass after a Martin Olsson slip, but he cannot quite control the ball and ends up fouling the left-back.
  • 7'
Russell Martin provides the overlap for Snodgrass and his delivery is a good one, but Van Wolfswinkel is stretching to connect with his header and can only direct it straight at Lloris.
  • 5'
The home side have started this match very brightly and are looking to get forward at any opportunity to unsettle the Spurs defence. Etienne Capoue is hobbling around in midfield having suffered a knock just prior to the Van Wolfswinkel chance.
  • 3'
Norwich force an early corner but Van Wolfswinkel is unable to take advantage of it. Robert Snodgrass' delivery finds the Dutchman six yards out but he could not quite reach to nod home or prod past Hugo Lloris with his foot.
  • 1'
Norwich City come together in a huddle before moving out to their respective positions and the Canaries eventually get us underway after an inflated ball is thrown onto the pitch.
  • Carrow Road stands as one to applaud the late Sir Tom Finney ahead of the game and we are moments from kick off here.
  • And you get the sense they will have to rectify their issues quickly given their final four fixtures are against high-flying Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. The gulf between the two clubs today can be reflected in the fact only Chelsea and Manchester City have secured more points than Spurs in the last 10 league games, while only Stoke City and Cardiff City have amassed less than Norwich in that time.
  • The Canaries have also won just one of their last 11 league games and are becoming many pundits' choice for the drop this season. The Norfolk outfit are the only club in the bottom six to stick faith with their manager since the start of the season but Hughton was warned this week he must steer his relegation-threatened side clear of the bottom three sooner rather than later.
  • Given his Tottenham background, it is also a clash which serves for a trip down memory lane for Hughton but given his side's current plight, there is no place for sentiment this afternoon. His side have scored just four goals in their last 10 league outings and they have 11 in 13 home league games all season.
  • It is a fixture which Norwich fans dread, with Spurs coming not tasting defeat in any of their seven visits to Carrow Road and Sherwood's men are eager to continue their Champions League push, particularly with the earlier Liverpool result leaving his side six points behind the fourth-placed Reds.
  • Norwich's defeat to West Ham has put added pressure on Hughton, whose side have scored just 19 goals this term with only Crystal Palace's total of 18 worse than the Norfolk outfit. Van Wolfswinkel leads the line today in place of Hooper but has not scored since the opening day in a 2-2 draw with Everton.
  • The boost, from a Tottenham perspective, is the inclusion of Emmanuel Adebayor up front despite rumours he may miss out this afternoon due to a leg injury. The Togolese striker has scored twice as many goals in 2014 (six) than the Canaries (three).
  • Spurs substitutes: Friedel, Soldado, Townsend, Chadli, Eriksen, Fryers, Kane.
  • Spurs starting line-up: Lloris; Naughton, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose; Capoue, Bentaleb, Paulinho; Lennon, Adebayor, Dembele.
  • Norwich substitutes: Whittaker, Howson, Hooper, Pilkington, Bunn, Hoolahan, Elmander.
  • Norwich starting line-up: Ruddy; Martin, Yobo, Bassong, Olsson; Tettey, Johnson; Snodgrass, Fer, Redmond; Van Wolfswinkel.
  • TEAM NEWS: A few changes for Spurs following their Europa League midweek defeat, with Hugo Lloris taking over from Brad Friedel in goal. The midfield trio stay the same, but Mousa Dembele and Aaron Lennon take up positions on the flanks. Emmanuel Adebayor leads the line, after Roberto Soldado once again failed to make an impact during their travels to Ukraine.
  • TEAM NEWS: Ricky van Wolfswinkel starts in attack for the home side, with Gary Hooper dropping to the bench. Nathan Redmond starts on the left hand side of midfield, with Joseph Yobo and Sebastien Bassong making the central defensive partnership. A big chance for Van Wolfswinkel to show that he's worth the big transfer fee that Chris Hughton stumped up for him in the summer.
  • I'm Tom Marshall-Bailey and I will be leading you through all of the action from this clash, which has huge implications on both ends of the table. Norwich have only managed to pick up one win from their last five matches, and head into this fixture without a victory in four consecutive match-ups. Spurs' league form is much better, but the visitors arrive at Carrow Road following a 1-0 defeat to Dnipro in the Europa League last Thursday.
  • Hello and welcome to live coverage of Premier League action between Norwich City and Tottenham Hotspur, as both sides look for a very important three point boost. The Canaries are hovering above the drop-zone on a mere 25 points, needing some kind of spoils from today's match to pull themselves out of the mire. Spurs, on the other hand, could extend their lead over sixth-placed Man United to eight points with a win at Carrow Road.
