A quiet afternoon for Ruddy. Did not have a save to make.
Strong at the back for Norwich. Got the better of Jelavic as the game wore on. An attacking threat for the Canaries but wasted a couple of opportunities that came his way at set-pieces.
Attacked well down the left-hand side for Norwich and dealt with well El Mohamady. Had little to do defensively in a game Norwich controlled.
The matchwinner for Norwich. In a game where his side's finishing let them down, Bennett popped up when the Canaries needed him to most to head home a late winner.
Attacked well and always looked to offer Snodgrass the overlap. Linked with his compatriot and delivered a number of crosses into the area.
A real live wire in midfield, Snodgrass was at the heart of every Norwich attack. Created the winner with a delightful corner. Tormented Figueroa endlessly, prompting Hull to switch formation. Tested McGregor with a stunning piledriver from range. Also delivered a number of dangerous-looking crosses into the area.
A strong performance from Johnson in the heart of midfield. Kept Norwich ticking, linking the play between defence and attack. Created a few good chances for, only for poor finishing to let his side down.
Played deeper than usual and as a result his performance looked limited. Did his job well but Norwich supporters would crave to see him involved further forward. Saw a volleyed effort deflected over in the second half.
A quiet debut, with the Argentine clearly lacking match fitness. Looked good when on the ball but was not as involved as he would have liked. Withdrawn for Anthony Pilkington with 20 minutes to go.
R. van Wolfswinkel
A really wasteful performance from the Dutch international as his goalscoring drought continues, at a time when his side are in desperate need of goals. Second best in the box all game long. Failed to attack a number of crosses into the Hull penalty area. Wasted the rare chances he did get.
A quiet performance from Hooper. Just does not look as influential in the same side as Van Wolfswinkel. Showed desire and his work-rate was good, but final ball often let him down.
Produced a fine save to keep out Robert Snodgrass' long-range piledriver. Had little to do otherwise. Poor positioning cost him for the goal.
Defended well for the majority. Unfortunate for the goal as Bennett's header deflected in past him, but should have done more to mark his man.
A great performance from Rosenior. Attacked well when given the opportunity and a rock at the back, jumping higher than Van Wolfswinkel a number of times to head clear. Missed an early chance to give his side the lead.
A solid performance from Davies at the heart of the Hull defence. Put his body on the line a number of times to block Norwich efforts at goal. Dominant in the air too, also cleared a number of dangerous crosses into the box.
Ahmed El Mohamady
Did not join the attack as much as he would have liked but managed to limit Gutierrez's impact. An average performance from the Egyptian.
Sent off late on for a silly second booking. Struggled to implement himself on the game. Did not see enough of the ball. A rather uninspiring performance from Huddlestone. Will not have enhanced his slim chances of making the England World Cup squad.
A quiet performance from Livermore. He looked a passenger at times. In a game where Hull struggled to threaten Ruddy, the midfielder a number of opportunities off-target from good positions. Passing let him down at times.
Started the game brightly. Offered a creative threat for Hull and nearly set up an opener for the Tigers inside the opening two minutes, only for Jelavic to miss the target. Allowed to attack more after Boyd's introduction.
A bright start from the Croatian, missed a golden opportunity to mark his debut with a goal inside the opening two minutes, firing wide when he really should have scored. Did his defensive duties well but impact lessened as game went on.
Lively in attack. Looked neat on the ball and often caused the Norwich defence problems, without ever really threatening to either score or create a goal. Replaced by Boyd halfway through the second half.
