Sekou Oliseh runs through the midfield and shoots low but Enyeama puts a hand to it to give the Liberians a corner kick. Nigeria clear and make a fast break through Emenike who threads it through for Musa but he clatters into the goalkeeper and earns a yellow card
Goal scorer Ambrose lost the ball in midfield and the Nigerians were almost punished by the visitors there. However, they clear their lines as the game continues on a knife edge. You have a feeling that there will be lots of goals in this encounter
Teasing cross from Igiebor into the box is headed out by the Liberian defender to clear the coast for them once more
Liberia keep the ball well in defence but can't make much of their push forward as Enyeama sweeps the loose ball into his arms
Remember, as it stands, Nigeria will go through to the 2013 Afcon on a 3-2 aggregate scoreline
Musa gets hacked down in midfield and the Liberian defender is shown a yellow card
Emenike wins a free kick, pulled down by the defender. A tricky kick across to the left is timely caught by the Liberian goalkeeper. Musa then shoots just wide of the post, leaving the keeper stranded. A few centimetres in and it could have been goal number two.
Sekou Oliseh giving the Nigerian defence a tough time out there. He wins a corner kick but soon Nigeria regain possession
The Liberians are coming out now, holding and winning balls in midfield but were caught offside
What an opening ten minutes it has been. My bones are tingling and I'm on the edge of my seat watching this encounter. Absolutely exciting stuff going on in Calabar.
Moses flashes across wide from the right after a pass from Emenike
Nigeria are using the left wing very well as Musa wins a corner kick but the resultant cross goes wide
Igiebor sends a header wide from Victor Moses' cross
The Liberians look to wake up from that first blow and attack immediately but shoot wide. Two important attacking moves but they don't look to be settled at the moment and shoot wide

Nigeria could have scored a fifth goal but Musa, not wanting to be selfish chose to pass while facing Sherman but the Eagles miss the opportunity
Apologies for break in transmission, it was due to the internet connection from one of our mega telecom companies. Back to the game, I was biting my fingers as I watched the Nigerians score two more goals. If you missed it, Victor Moses and Mikel Obi have both scored for the Eagles
GOOOAAALLL!!! Mikel scores from the spot after Nathaniel Sherman upturned a Nigeria player in the box. His first goal for the Eagles in a long time as the crowd chanted his name non-stop
GOOOAALL!!! Victor Moses scores off Nosa Igiebor's pass
There's a minute's silence observed in honour of four students of the University of Port Harcourt who were killed recently. May their souls find peace.
"The clouds that seemed to be pregnant with rain have given way for a bright sunny afternoon. The stadium has come alive now!!" - Kolade Oni in Calabar
Nigeria national anthem is performed with the massive crowd intoning alongside. You have a sense that the crowd have come for nothing less than a victory this afternoon.

Nigeria are dressed in green shirts and shorts while Liberia are attired in red shirts and shorts.
The opening greetings are being performed at the moment. Nigeria's sports minister is being introduced to the Liberians, the referees and then Eagles.
"Nigeria legend Nwankwo Kanu was welcomed into the stadium by the spectators with a thunderous applause. The former Arsenal and Portsmouth man is still very popular with the fans." - Sam Ade Oguns in Calabar
"Nigeria's players came onto the pitch earlier on to warm up and the capacity filled stadium clapped and cheered for them. The Eagles, wearing green and white bowed in appreciation. Liberia wore white tops and red shorts during their work out." - Sam Ade Oguns in Calabar
TACTICAL ANALYSIS With Nosa Igiebor, Keshi is trying to put pressure on the central defence of Liberia as Emenike will be using his strength and speed to create one on one situations where a deep running midfielder like Igiebor can exploit. Also Musa and Moses are in the line-up to keep the full backs very busy and will try to pull them as far away from their central defenders. Mikel and Nwankwo will sit in deep midfield giving cross field passes out to Musa and Moses and occasionally straight at Emenike. The starting 11 looks solid enough to get the job done but if it is not happening by the 60th minute, Ike Uche should come in to replace Igiebor and the Eagles will resort to a 4-2-4 attacking formation. - Babajide Alaka
Nigeria Reserve: Joel Obi, Brown Ideye, Umar Zango, Ikechukwu Uche, Austin Ejide, Ogenyi Onazi, Ejike Uzoenyi
"The stadium has come alive, more than one quarter of the arena's stands have been taken up by spectators with more than one and half hours to kick off. Almost every part of the stadium is bubbling with green and white colours and the cloud looks heavy, like it is pregnant with rains" - Kolade Oni in Calabar
We have the Nigeria starting XI now: Enyeama; Egwueke, Ambrose, Echiejile, Oboabona; Igiebor, Mikel, Nwankwo; Musa, Moses, Emenike
