Milan continue to dictate the play with ease and tranquility as we approach the final minutes at San Siro.

What is Robinho doing? He majestically dummies Julio Cesar and makes him stumble over, but takes too long to finish, and Cordoba makes the clearance. Rossoneri just toying with their opponents now.

Zanetti launches one long for Eto'o who runs into an offside position for Inter.
Seedorf feeds Boateng who shoots from the edge of the area... the shot is charged down and cleared. Milan are pressing Inter back with an unsatiable energy.
Miracle save from Julio Cesar who stops Robinho's drive from range from becoming a third goal for Milan.
It's looking really bad for Inter now and their title hopes look to be over as 2-0 down with ten men seems a big ask with just over 25 minutes to go.

Good work by Eto'o on the byeline as he swivels around on the ball, but both Boateng and Thiago Silva are alert.
Zanetti is forced to conceed a corner as Inter's numerical disadvantage begins to show. Robinho swings it in, Zanetti closes the door on Pato.
If Inter had it tough before, they are in real trouble now as they have to scrap it out and hope for the best. Thiago Silva's free-kick is punched clear from Julio Cesar.

Ohhhhhhhhh! Van Bommel hits the bar! A powerful effort takes a deflection off Chivu to leave Julio Cesar for dead, but the ball can only hit the crossbar! Inter escape.
Milan on the charge as they break down a free pitch as Inter commit too many men forward. Robinho sees Pato... he runs down the line, cross for Boateng as he switches the play... great comeback tackle by Chivu.
Great defending by Nesta again as he stops Sneijder's run into the box... the playmaker complains to Rizzoli, but his appeals are futile as they are turned down.
The broil and battle was always on the cards as Nesta takes down Sneijder with Motta going in hard on the Italian just for good measure.
Pazzini tries a one-two pass and move with Pandev, but they get mixed up and the chance is wasted.
Lets look at the shot count... Inter have had four compared to Milan's three. Inter are also edging the possession on half hour with 53 percent compared to Milan's 47.
Captain Zanetti does well to stop Pato and launches the break for Inter... Maicon plays it up for Pazzini, but his run is too early, and he is caught offside.

Ohhh! From the corner swung outwards, Zambrotta goes for the shot, but it's always rising.
Boateng finds Pato who starts a series of dummies... Ranocchia is alert though and he gets a foot on the ball... Good defending from the Italian.
The ball takes a deflection off the referee... it sets up nicely for Pandev who doesn't hesitate to shoot... just wide!
Inter are raising the standard here at San Siro as they continue their effort for a breakthrough... Milan hold on as Thiago Silva anticipates Pandev's cross.
Ohhhh! That should have been a goal from Pazzini, but he fluffs it by sending the ball straight at Abbiati one on one from Pandev's assist!
Zambrotta makes his presence felt on Pandev, and it's a free-kick to Inter... Sneijder takes it but it flies well high and over the goal. The Dutchman moans about a laser which appeared to be aimed at him from the stands.
Nerazzurri on the up as they start to take control of the ball. Sneijder does well to wriggle free and cross in search of Pazzini, this time it's Thiago Silva who gets his body to the ball first.
Inter show themselves forward with Thiago Motta who tries to play a ball towards Italy international Pazzini, but his stretch is not enough to make contact as the chance fizzles out.
Great work from Seedorf who feeds Pato... he plays in Robinho, but he cannot get to the ball. Milan are looking very good tonight as Inter struggle to get a foot in.
Inter move the ball well with Motta, he finds Pandev... the left foot shot is taken quickly, but weakly, and it's no problem for Abbiati.
It's all Milan as Robinho shows quick feet down the line, but he is met by a hard tackle from Maicon. Down goes the Brazilian, but Rizzoli waves play on.
Milan want a second as Seedorf goes long for Pato... ohh! He cannot get to it. The Nerazzurri are shaken here.
What a start for the Rossoneri who draw first blood. Inter are stunned as their early game plan goes out of the window.

And we are off at San Siro in what is, perhaps, the biggest game of the season for these two teams domestically... GOAL! Pato scores for Milan who strike instantly from kick off. Gattuso plays in Robinho... Cesar makes the save, but Pato reacts fastest to tap the ball over the line.

Plenty has been said in the build up to the game. The latest from Milan club chief Silvio Berlusconi who said: "Cassano will be decisive"... but the Italian starts on the bench tonight.
