Sydney now have 50 points and are the fastest team to reach that mark as they continue to look good at the top of the table. City will look to bounce back next week and hope results go their way to stay in 3rd.

66' GOAL SYDNEY! SYDNEY 3 CITY 1. Wonderful goal again from the away side as Ninkovic looks as if he has been blocked off by the defence but he puts in a great ball to Bobo and he says thank you very much and buries it into the bottom left corner and extend his team's lead
63' Great lead up from the away side again with Bobo sliding onto a cross but he is flagged offside. Sydney continuing to look for a 3rd goal which you would think would finish this game off with City down to 10 men due to Muscat's sending off in the 1st half

54' Tongyik handballs it and is given a yellow for being deliberate. Great area now for a set piece for the away side.
52' Sydney have another corner which goes out now for the goal kick. Interesting start to the half with not as much intensity as the 1st half. Both teams settling back into their rhythms
51' Grant puts in an early cross which isn't a good one, but he has another chance here as he puts another cross into a good area and Ninkovic has his shot blocked by Tongyik. O'Neill now has a shot from distance which tests out Sorensen.
48' Fornaroli is fouled and Brattan takes it quickly spotting Vukovic off his line but it goes wide of the target. Inventive from the midfielder.

Looking forward to this 2nd half of football as both side's have showed a willingness to attack as much as they can to try and find goals. Both are capable of scoring and this upcoming half should provide us with plenty of entertainment
HALF TIME: CITY 1 SYDNEY 1. A fantastic opening 45 minutes tonight as City and Sydney go into the break level with 1 goal each. Sydney opened the scoring through Bobo's penalty after Ninkovic was fouled but only a minute later, Fitzgerald smashed home from outside the box to bring the scores level. Plenty of chances and we can only hope we get the same sort of half of football in the 2nd part of this game.
45' + 2' Bujis cross is met by Brosque but it's not on target and it goes out for the goal kick. Great first half of football here.
44' Ninkovic gets on the outside of the City defence but his touch is too deep and Sorensen can come out to claim it. Sydney almost with a great chance there to get themselves ahead before the break

34' Franjic now gets into the area with Vukovic having to watch it all the way as he cliams it at his near post. Zullo has had a nightmare half so far at left back as he has not been able to contend with Fitzgerald and Franjic
32' Malik is fouled by Bobo as City continue having a good spell of possession and they are passing it around very well utilising nice one touch football
30' Lovely counter from the home side with Fornaroli finding Fitzgerald again as he tricks his way into the box and Vukovic claims his cross
28' Sydney steal the ball just outside the box but they can't take advantage and Ninkovic fouls a defender. Now City come back the other way with another offside called. It's been a frenetic few minutes with 2 goals and more attacking which looks like it will deliver a few more goals yet with much of the game still to come
27' Fitzgerald has had his best first half in a while and he tries to get in behind the defence but this time he is flagged offside
Goal
