E. Džeko 67', 79'
S. Agüero 73'
Well, that's all from our coverage at the Etihad Stadium this evening. Man City face Watford in the fourth round after tonight's win. The quadruple is still on. Goodbye for now!
For Blackburn, it's back to concentrating on the league. They're well in the hunt for a Championship playoff place and will be desperate to make a return to the Premier League.
It's all looking rather good for Pellegrini's men at the moment. Negredo has been in inspired form and bagged his 20th and 21st goals of the season, while Dzeko also notched two strikes and Aguero marked his return with an instant goal.
It's FULL-TIME at the Etihad Stadium and Manchester City have in the end cruised to an easy 5-0 win over Blackburn. It looked very different before the break but their quality showed in the end.
90' + 3'
King chases a long ball over the top and goes down under a Kolarov challenge. There are half-hearted appeals for a penalty but the referee waves them away.
90' + 2'
Aguero is nearly in behind as Dzeko collects the ball on the edge of the box before floating it diagonally over the top, but it just skips off the surface and goes out for a goal kick.
90' + 1'
City clear the set piece and Navas sprints forward for the hosts before squaring to Kolarov, who can't quite get the ball out of his feet and Williamson steps in to win the ball back.
Mahoney gets his first chance, picking the ball up on the right before drilling a low cross which is cleared for a corner as we enter three minutes of added time.
16-year-old Connor Mahoney is introduced for the visitors as we enter the closing stages. Not long for City to bag their 100th goal.
SO, SO CLOSE!! That's a wonderful effort from Milner, who bends the ball just the wrong side of the far post with a vicious effort. Eastwood was nowhere near it.
Kolarov squares the ball into Aguero on the edge of the box, and the striker shows good strength to hold off a challenge before being hauled down by Hanley. Milner looks like he fancies a go, here...
Taylor picks the ball up and runs toward the box before facing a strong challenge from Huws. The Blackburn midfielder wants a free kick but nothing is given and the City debutant comes away with the ball.
Spurr wins the ball in the left-back area but immediately gives it straight back to City before Garcia puts it out for a throw to the visitors.
City are keeping the ball comfortably. You get the feeling Blackburn just want this to end as quickly as possible.
JUST OVER!! Kolarov swings the set piece over the wall, but also over the crossbar as it doesn't quite dip enough. The Blackburn fans are still in fine voice despite this mauling, which could yet get worse.
The hosts have a free kick 35 yards out towards the right-hand side. Kolarov is eyeing this one up...
That's 99 goals in all competitions this season for City. Simply astonishing.
Goal Edin Dzeko
DZEKO ADDS A FIFTH!! After Blackburn spur some "oles" with a string of passes, they give it away and Aguero plays wide to Navas, who drills in a low cross which Dzeko meets at the near post to divert low past the goalkeeper.
This is midfielder Huws' Man City debut tonight. The Welshman is certainly one to keep an eye on.
And that's Richards' last contribution of the evening, as youngster Emyr Huws is brought on to replace the full-back. Meanwhile, Pantilimon easily claims a long throw and the hosts have possession once more.
City are allowing the visitors a spell of possession, but Blackburn can't make any inroads at the moment. Spurr advances down the left but his cross is blocked by Richards and goes out for a throw.
Blackburn look shellshocked. This could get embarrassing...
Goal Sergio Agüero
AGUERO SCORES!! That didn't take long!! Kolarov spreads the ball wide to Clichy, who fires in a low cross. Dzeko collects it at the near post and lays back to Aguero, who uses his first touch to create some space before drilling it past Eastwood with his second.
Williamson shoves Kolarov out on the flank and City have a free kick inside the Blackburn half. The break in play means Aguero comes on in place of two-goal Negredo.
It looks like Aguero is about to be introduced. He'll fancy getting on the scoresheet tonight, that's for sure.
The visitors aren't giving up just yet, and Marshall fires in a cross towards the far post. Lowe is there to meet it but can't find King with his header down and it's cleared for a corner. Kilgallon meets the set piece and heads towards goal but Lescott is there to clear.
A very well-timed goal from City's point of view, there. Blackburn were just starting to get hope, and that has been utterly dashed now.
Goal Edin Dzeko
DZEKO MAKES IT THREE!! That's ended the comeback hopes, surely, as Milner floats a wonderful ball out to Navas, who charges to the by-line before pulling back across the box. Dzeko races in to meet it on the corner of the six-yard box and blasts the ball past Eastwood and into the roof of the net.
LOWE DRILLS WIDE!! Blackburn are starting to create plenty, now. Could they get back in this! Lowe fires a shot from 25 yards, it deflects off Lescott and flies just wide of the post, but a goal kick is given.
Yellow Card Aleksandar Kolarov
Williamson does well to sneak in and steal the ball away from Kolarov, who leaves a leg in and takes out the midfielder, earning him a yellow card.
PANTILIMON DENIES KING!! The substitute has a second chance in a minute as Nastasic completely switches off, allowing him to run in behind. King tries to squeeze a low shot inside Pantilimon's near post but the goalkeeper saves well.
Yellow Card James Milner
KING GOES CLOSE!! That's the visitors' best chance of the match as Marshall cuts on to his right foot before swinging in a cross, and King rises high to meet it at the far post but doesn't connect with it properly, and the ball flies over off his shoulder.
Good work from Blackburn to get out of a tight situation by their own corner flag, before King brings down the clearance and finds Cairney. The winger plays a return ball for the substitute which runs out of play, but the referee goes back for a foul as he was taken out while playing the pass.
Just under half an hour to go, and this tie seems pretty much decided now. Pellegrini may choose to give Aguero a run at some point soon.
City make hard work of clearing the ball but eventually turn on the style, stringing together some lovely one-touch passes before Clichy fires an early ball around the back looking for Negredo, but the striker can't quite reach and Eastwood gathers.
Joshua King is coming on for Blackburn, with Campbell making way. Can the youngster make a telling impact tonight?
This is a good spell of possession for the visitors. Marshall fires in a low cross from the left and Lescott doesn't fully clear, but Lowe can't get it under control and eventually City regain possession.
Chance for Blackburn as Spurr swings in an early cross and Nastasic is forced to make a clearance with Campbell right behind him. The visitors have a corner but Pantilimon authoritatively claims the set piece.
Navas' delivery is well cleared and Blackburn have a chance to come forward. Cairney seems their best hope for an attack so far.
Good block from Henley sees City win another corner. Navas lines it up as City look for a third...
Bowyer has only two substitutions remaining after having to bring on Eastwood. Could he turn to Gestede to add more presence up front, or is it damage limitation now?
Not one for Kolarov's scrap book, here. Negredo drops deep before firing a wonderful diagonal ball forward towards Clichy. The full-back lays it back to Kolarov, who tries an audacious first-time effort from the edge of the box, but it slices wildly wide and over.
City get the ball back quickly and are now passing around with consummate ease. There's no rush to get forward as they have a comfortable lead, now.
Williamson tries to start the hard task of coming back, finding Cairney in midfield with a fine pass, and the Blackburn man turns well before being taken down by Clichy in the centre circle.
Your fear this could ba a long 45 minutes for the visitors...
NEGREDO DOUBLES THE LEAD!! It's surely game over now as Kolarove fires a superb ball forward from the halfway line, and it evades Hanley before going through to Negredo, who lifts the ball over Eastwood and into the corner. Superb finish.
The hosts kick off the second half and we're back underway. Robinson has picked up an injury so Simon Eastwood replaces him in goal for Blackburn, while Aleksandar Kolarov is introduced for Fernandinho.
Almost time for proceedings to get back underway at the Etihad Stadium. Is there any way back for Blackburn?
The floodgates should have opened in the first half, really. Blackburn did well, yes, but with all the possession City had they should have created more. The passing and crossing were way off, while Edin Dzeko needs to readjust his radar...
Blackburn, for 45 minutes, were doing well and were still in the match. They switched off in stoppage time and now need to push forward to get back in this, and you get the feeling that could open things up at the other end.
Pellegrini will be relieved to be ahead at the break, but won't be happy with his side's overall performance. They look like there's a Yaya Toure-shaped hole in their midfield right now.
That's HALF-TIME at the Etihad Stadium and Man City have a 1-0 lead thanks to that last-gasp goal from Negredo. The striker has 20 goals this season and has overtaken Sergio Aguero as top scorer. Can Blackburn come back from that massive blow?
45' + 1'
NEGREDO PUTS THE HOSTS IN FRONT!! It's a sucker punch right on half time, just as in the first game. Navas collects the ball on the right and finds Fernandinho on the overlap. The midfielder has plenty of time to swing in a cross and Negredo powers a low header in at the far corner.
Cairney is brought down inside the City have and the visitors have a chance to get men into the opposing box, but Fernandinho comes away with it as we enter one minute of added time.
MASSIVE ESCAPE FOR BLACKBURN!! Milner causes chaos in the box, firing an inswinging cross in from the left. Robinson starts to come out but retreats and it bounces behind the centre-backs, and Richards is inches away from meeting it at the far post but it bounces over him and out for a goal kick.
It's very quiet inside the Etihad Stadium at the moment. There hasn't been that much to cheer, really. The visitors will be far happier if there's parity at the break. Negredo tries to ignite proceedings as he charges to the line before pulling back towards Dzeko, but Blackburn hack the ball clear.
Dzeko charges down Robinson but the goalkeeper clears the ball easily. Moments later Clichy is the latest City player to produce a loose pass, sending it straight into touch.
WIDE FROM TAYLOR!! Campbell produces some good hold-up play, chesting the ball down before playing a reverse ball into Taylor, who runs forward and tries a shot which slices wide of the post.
This does have the feel of a training session, if I'm honest. City are just passing it around before trying a cross, and they're not having much success. Garcia, who has looked a little off colour so far, sends a pass straight out of play for a throw.
Milner is forward again and cuts on to his right before swinging in a cross, but it's a very similar result to most of his crosses as Hanley sends the ball back with interest as he heads it out of play for a throw.
ALMOST FOR NEGREDO!! Navas skips past his man on the right and fires in a dangerous low ball across the six-yard box. Negredo slides in at the near post and is inches away from reaching the ball to poke it past Robinson, but the visitors survive for now.
Lovely play from Blackburn down the right, as Cairney slides a pass through for Taylor, but no-one can reach his cross and Pantilimon claims.
The home fans are just starting to feel things swinging in City's favour, now, with the pressure increasing. Dzeko comes wide and looks to find Negredo in the box, but his low cross is easily cleared by Hanley.
Great work from Milner, who skips down the left and is clipped by Henley on the line. The England man tries to keep going but Hanley comes across to win the ball, so the referee goes back for the foul.
Dzeko tries another pop shot, and again is nowhere near the target as he slices wide from way out, prompting plenty of jeers from the Blackburn fans behind the goal.
Richards meets the corner but it loops to the right of the box, and Nastasic is penalised for a foul on Williamson as he tries to get to it.
So, with half an hour gone it's still goalless, and you'd have to say Blackburn are doing well to restrict the hosts' chances. Navas tries to change that as he battles with Spurr, and the defender is eventually forced to put the ball behind for a corner.
Blackburn waste the chance from the corner as Cairney's left-footed cross bends out of play before reaching the box. That was another good chance to test the hosts.
Cairney finds Marshall on the left with a fine pass, and the wide man charges to the by-line before seeing his cross deflected on to the top of the net by Richards.
Oh dear, Edin Dzeko. The striker meets Navas' cross just inside the area, but the striker's volley is high, wide and not handsome by any stretch of the imagination.
Yellow Card DJ Campbell
ROBINSON PARRIES AWAY!! Garcia has the ball in midfield and tries a speculative shot out of nothing, drilling low from 30 yards. Robinson parries away and makes sure it goes away from the incoming Dzeko. Fernandinho comes forward on the right and Campbell cleans him out, giving City the chance to fire it in the box...
Danger for Blackburn as Kilgallon makes a clearance but City come straight back. Negredo lifts it over the top for Navas, whose cross is again headed away. Richards charges in to meet the bouncing ball and Williamson goes in with a high foot, but nothing is given and the visitors are eventually able to get the ball away.
Straight at Pantilimon!! Marshall steps up and curls the set piece around the wall, but straight into the arms of the grateful City goalkeeper. A good chance wasted, really.
Hanley powers away a clearance and Marshall slides an excellent first-time ball into the path of Cairney, who flies into the City half. The winger has two men in support but goes it alone, eventually drawing a foul and the visitors have a superb chance with a free kick 25 yards out...
Robinson comes out to collect another ball as Navas' cross deflects off Henley, and the visitors have a chance to enjoy some possession of their own.
The hosts go left yet again, and Milner looks to swing in a cross from the by-line, but it's straight into the arms of Robinson. The final ball isn't quite coming off for City right now.
Navas switches sides, popping up on the left before darting inside and hammering a low shot towards goal from 25 yards, but Hanley blocks it with ease. City still in possession though.
Cairney swings the ball in and Taylor meets it, sending it towards Campbell, but the striker can't get a shot away and City eventually clear before Williamson slices a long-range effort way off target.
Taylor gives it away and Negredo charges forward, but Hanley stands strong to dispossess the big striker. The visitors come forward and Cairney sees a 25-yard shot blocked before he slides a ball through looking for Campbell, but Richards puts it out for a corner.
Not much to shout about in the first quarter of an hour, then. Dzeko has had the only two chances of the game and should really have done better with the second. Blackburn are holding firm for now, but are allowing the hosts plenty of time on the ball.
Clichy and Milner link up well again on that left-hand side as the defender finds his captain. Milner ignores the overlap and cuts on to his right to firs a ball in, but it's a poor attempt and goes straight to Robinson.
City aren't in a rush and clearly feel their quality will eventually tell. Clichy looks for Milner on the left flank but Henley gets a touch on the ball to put it out for a throw.
Oof, that was close!! Nastasic plays the ball back to Pantilimon and the goalkeeper takes an age to clear, allowing Campbell to sprint in and slide to try and block. The City shot-stopper is really lucky to get away with it as the ball just evades the striker.
DZEKO BLASTS OVER!! That's a lovely move from the hosts as Fernandinho floats a ball over the top, and Negredo volleys it first time into the path of Dzeko, who takes a touch before firing way over the bar from 20 yards.
Taylor looks for Henley down the right-hand side and Clichy comes across but gives it away. Taylor looks for Campbell this time with a through ball, but there's just too much on it and Pantilimon rushes out to gather possession.
Blackburn try and pushh forward into the City half, but Negredo tracks back well to dispossess Williamson. Navas almost gets away on the right but Spurr slides in to put the ball out of play.
The travelling fans are making plenty of noise tonight, and their side are just starting to get a foothold with some possession.
The visitors finally get a spell of possession as Clichy gives the ball away inside the Blackburn half. Taylor can't make progress down the right so it's eventually worked to Marshall on the left, but Richards stands firm and does well to win a throw off the winger.
Taylor and Marshall try to get involved in the middle but eventually lose out. City are keeping the ball well and the visitors will have a lot of running to do tonight.
Ominous start for the visitors, though. That was all too easy.
DZEKO HEADS OVER!! The visitors give it straight to City at the kick-off, and the hosts have started stroking the ball around already. Negredo spreads wide to Clichy, who cuts back and lays to Milner, and the captain for tonight lifts the ball into the box. Dzeko meets it at the near post but it's slightly behind him and he can't find the target.
"Blue Moon" rings around the stadium before Blackburn get the game started, and we're underway.
The players are out and we're just a few moments away from getting started. Can Blackburn become just the second side, after Bayern Munich. to win at the Etihad Stadium this season?
There's also the small matter of the Champions League last 16 tie against Barcelona next month. So much for quietening down after Christmas...
Pellegrini wants to guide City to an unprecedented quadruple of trophies this season. If they win tonight they play Watford in the fifth round, and that will be their fifth domestic cup game in January.
Wide man Tom Cairney stood out for Gary Bowyer's side in the game on 4th January, and will certainly be a handful for Gael Clichy on that flank. Micah Richards makes his first start since the 3-2 over Bayern Munich in December, so the visitors may target the other wing as well, with the full-back potentially rusty tonight.
For Blackburn, Sean Kilgallon comes in for Rovers' goalscorer in the original tie, Scott Dann, who is out injured. Striker Jordan Rhodes is also out so DJ Campbell starts ahead of Rudy Gestede, who was given the nod in the draw at Ewood Park.
It's also worth noting that Sergio Aguero is back in the squad after spending a month out through injury. City will undoubtedly be delighted to see him back, and Pellegrini may use tonight as a chance to give the diminutive striker some game time later on.
Pellegrini makes eight changes from the 2-0 win over Newcastle on Sunday, with only Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko and Fernandinho surviving. Joe Hart is rested, meaning Costel Pantilimon is in goal for the hosts despite being partially to blame for Blackburn's equaliser in the first match.
BLACKBURN: Robinson; Henley, Kilgallon, Hanley, Spurr; Cairney, Lowe, Williamson, Taylor, Marshall; Campbell. // Subs: Eastwood, King, Dunn, Olsson, Rochina, Mahoney, Gestede.
MAN CITY: Pantilimon; Richards, Nastasic, Lescott, Clichy; Navas, Garcia, Milner, Fernandinho; Dzeko, Negredo. // Subs: Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Kolarov, Huws, Lopes, Aguero.
We've heard tonight's line-ups so let's bring you the teams, starting with the hosts...
The Championship club held Manuel Pellegrini's side to a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park 11 days ago, but face a mammoth task against a team that is in imperious form at home; City have scored an incredible 38 goals in just 10 Premier League games.
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of the FA Cup third round replay between Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers. It's "take two" in this fixture and we've got all the action from the Etihad Stadium tonight.
