Swansea City win Aggregate 4 - 0
That's it from me Tom Etherington (@tom_etherington), so thanks for joining Goal's LIVE coverage. Goodbye.
It wasn't the greatest of games but Swansea won't mid as they are now one step away from the group stages. Wilfried Bony had a goal disallowed after a tight offside decision and Jonathan de Guzman had a late penalty claim as the Premier League outfit dominated from start to finish.
The game finishes 0-0 on the night but 4-0 on aggregate and Swansea progress to the play-off phase of the Europa League during their debut season in the competition.
90' + 3'
90' + 2'
De Guzman lets rip with a powerful effort but it goes high and wide. That should be game over now...
90' + 2'
Ki tries his luck from outsde the area and there will be time for one final corner.
90' + 1'
Swansea passing the ball around with ease now as everyone waits for the final whistle.
There will be three minutes added time.
CHANCE! Late opportunity for Swansea. Pozuelo lofts a beautiful pass over the top for De Guzman, who goes past the goalkeeper but falls over under his challenge so can't finish into an empty net. The referee almost gives a penalty!
Malmo down to ten men with Petrovic off the field. Swansea make one final change, bringing off Richards.
There's a break in play after a 50/50 challenge between Taylor and Petrovic, and the latter needs treatment.
Into the final ten minutes now and Malmo are seeing more of the ball but it's definitely too late now. The home fans are still in great voice though.
Helander knocks down the third corner but Bony is on hand to clear the danger.
String of corners for Malmo now. Petrovic's first set piece is headed out by Chico Flores, before the Swansea keeper comes out to punch the second.
Tokelo Anthony Rantie
Half-chance for Malmo as Williams fells Rantie in a wide position and the resulting free kick is whipped into the area by Cibicki, but Williams heads it out. More changes as Michu is replaced by Sung-Yong Ki, while Eriksson is replaced by Rantie.
Swansea remain comfortable in possession as we approach the final 15 minutes of action in Sweden.
Halsti replaces Friberg for Malmo. It is understood that there are Middlesbrough scouts in attendance this evening to take a look a look at Tokelo Rantie, but the South African is currently still on the bench.
Williams does brilliantly to beat Eriksson with a header inside the Swansea box. Very strong defending.
Routledge puts a corner straight into the goalkeeper's hands after Michu's deep cross was cleared.
Yellow Card Ashley Williams
Williams is booked for a late challenge on Cibicki. Free kick to Malmo...
The set piece is easily cleared by Swansea, before Jansson tries a dummy in the box but no blue shirts are behind him.
It looks like Nathan Dyer is getting ready to come on. Hopefully a substitution will liven things up...
Just half an hour of play left in Sweden. It seems like Malmo are already thinking about their big league game with AIK at the weekend.
SHOT! Rakip tries to take matters into his own hands, after Taylor was disposed by Eriksson on the right wing, but his first time effort from distance goes over. Neither goalkeeper has had much to do yet.
First change of the game as Malmo bring on the highly-rated Petrovic for Hamad.
SHOT! Michu knocks the ball down for Routledge, who has time to control and shoot but fires his effort high over the bar again. Should have tested the goalkeeper at least.
Yellow Card Filip Helander
Helander bodychecks Bony and picks up a yellow card. Swansea still dominating proceedings but unfortunately, the match has become scrappy in this second half.
OFFSIDE. Another tight call but this time it's Malmo, as Forsberg is caught out.
Bony, who actually has Wilfried on his shirt, wins another free kick for Swansea. I can't see Malmo getting back into this...
Foul from Canas on Cibicki. That looks nasty,
Swansea get the game back underway. No changes from either side, which is a bit of a surprise.
The players are back out for the second 45 minutes.
A solitary goal from Swansea in the second half should seal this tie and send them through to the play-off stages.
Malmo have just shaded the possession in the first period with 52%, but they have managed just three attempts on goal, none of which have been on target, compared to Swansea's four.
What did you make of that first half performance? Are you Swansea fans happy with a 0-0 draw tonight? Let me know on Twitter via @tom_etherington.
So it's Malmo 0-0 Swansea at the break and the visitors dominated the first 45 minutes. Michu and Wilfried Bony have looked lively, with the latter seeing a goal ruled out for offside in the 37th minute, when replays showed that the Ivorian was level with the final defender. Malmo have been much-improved from the first leg, but they still need to score at least four times.
No added time and the referee blows for half time.
Yellow Card Erik Friberg
Cynical trip from Friberg on Michu and Swansea have another free kick. The last ten minutes have been really untidy.
Routledge beats his man inside the box and wants a corner, but the referee says goal kick.
Hamad attempts to take matters into his own hands by striking an effort from outside the box, but it was always moving wide of the post.
OFFSIDE. Swansea have the ball in the net after Bony picks up a pass from Routledge and pokes past the onrushing goalkeeper, but the referee's whistle has already gone.
The resulting free kick is whipped into the box by De Guzman, but it goes straight into the arms of the goalkeeper.
Yellow Card Erdal Rakip
YELLOW CARD. Rakip's name is also taken by the referee for a challenge on Bony. Ricardinho looked like he kicked the ball straight at the striker's head when he was down on the floor. Ouch.
Yellow Card Michu
YELLOW CARD. Michu is booked for a nasty challenge on Ricardinho. The striker chases after the Brazilian defender and lunges in from behind.
Eriksson wins a free kick for the hosts and then sees an effort blocked in the box. Malmo's hopes of scoring rest solely with him by the looks of it!
De Guzman puts it high over the crossbar. Poor effort. Still 0-0 with around 15 minutes of the first half remaining.
Pozuelo draws a foul from Albornoz just outside the area and wins a free kick. De Guzman is standing over it...
CHANCE! Great ball over the top from Canas sets up Routledge, but the winger flicks his effort wide of the post when bearing down on goal. Best chance of the game by some distance!
Canas and Routledge are seeing plenty of the ball but not making the most of it just yet. Malmo are not going to make this easy for the visitors.
Really bright opening 20 minutes from both sides, but still the second leg remains goalless.
CHANCE! Michu beats the offside trap before Dahlin comes out to block his sliding effort. The Spaniard attempts to find Taylor from the rebound, but his cross is too high for the defender.
Forsberg does brilliantly to work his way down the left but goes down under a challenge and the referee waives play on.
Hamad whips the set piece into the box but Michu is back to clear the ball away with a towering header. Swansea break forward...
Eriksson breaks down the right but is brought down by Williams with a clumsy challenge. Dangerous position for a free kick.
OFFSIDE. Michu attempts to thread a ball through to Routledge, but the winger sets off too soon and the offside flag is raised.
The rain has just started to ease off in the last couple of moments, but the surface remains extremely slick. Routledge drives to the edge of the boxbut is blocked off by Richardinho.
Both sides have settled a little now and Swansea are starting to control proceedings. Michu looks as lively as ever.
SHOT! The ball drops to Michu outside the area and the striker doesn't think twice as he immediately goes for goal, but it sails over the crossbar.
The noise is deafening inside the stadium during the early stages of this European tie. Swansea have hardly touched the ball yet.
Just a reminder that Malmo need to score at least four times without reply to have a chance of making the next round.
CHANCE! Great early opportunity for Malmo to score as Cibicki fires a first time shot just inches wide of the post.
Malmo kick off proceedings. The hosts are kicking from right to left in their blue kit, while Swansea are sporting an interesting purple and yellow away number.
Here we go then. Both sides are out on the pitch and after the pre-match handshakes and exchanging of flags we will be ready to get the action underway
The players are in the tunnel ahead of kick off.
Just under ten minutes to kick off now. I'm going to predict a 1-0 win to Swansea tonight. I don't know if the hosts have it in them to find the net, never mind stage a comeback. What do you think? Get involved and send your predictions to me on Twitter via @tom_etherington.
Meanwhile, the hosts have made three changes and name ten Swedes in their starting XI, with Brazilian defender Richardinho the only exception. Eriksson, who has scored seven times this season, leads their line.
So Laudrup has made seven changes for the second leg, which includes second-choice goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel replacing Michel Vorm in the Swansea goal. Jonathan de Guzman returns to the heart of the midfield, while Pozuelo is also given the chance to impress following his late goal last week.
SWANSEA SUBS: Vorm, Britton, Dyer, Monk, Ki, Rangel, Davies.
SWANSEA XI: Tremmel; Richards, Chico, Williams, Taylor; Canas, De Guzman, Pozuelo; Routledge, Michu, Bony.
MALMO SUBS: Olsen, Halsti, Fadi, Johansson, Rantie, Konate, Petrovic.
MALMO XI: Dahlin; Richardinho, Albornoz, Jansson, Helander; Rakip, Hamad, Friberg, Forsberg; Cibicki, Eriksson.
So let's take a look at the line-ups for this evening, starting with the hosts...
Malmo are set to be boosted by the return to fitness of centre-back Erik Johansson, who suffered a foot injury, while the preferred striking duo of Magnus Eriksson and Tokelo Rantie should feature up front after each netted on Sunday in domestic play.
Michael Laudrup is expected to rotate his squad as he looks to keep his players fresh ahead of the return of the Premier League next week. He is without midfield duo Pablo Hernandez and Jon Shelvey through injury and illness respectively, while Chico Flores is available after a thigh problem.
The burgeoning partnership between new £12 million club record signing Wilfried Bony and last season's top scorer Michu was a major factor in Swansea's first leg victory. Bony scored twice on his competitive debut and Michu also found the net, before Alejandro Pozuelo added to Malmo's misery with a fourth goal four minutes from time.
Swansea are just 90 minutes away from booking a spot in the play-off round, following their impressive 4-0 win in the first leg meeting at the Liberty Stadium last week. Should they advance to the next phase it would put the Premier League side just one step away from the group stages of the Europa League.
