What a season it's been! It's been a pleasure to bring you coverage from the division over the course of the last ten months. Thanks for all of your input, and we'll be back for more Ligue 1 coverage with the same glitz and glamour (and Monaco too!) in August. I'm Mohammed Ali, good night!
That's it! The Ligue 1 season comes to an end. PSG are champions, Marseille runners-up. Lyon sneak into the Champions League, whilst Lille drop out of Europa altogether. Nice take fourth, Troyes are relegated.
90' + 2'
FULL-TIME: Lorient 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain
90' + 1'
GOALFLASH: Valenciennes 2-1 Troyes - Troyes are relegated from Ligue 1.
Into two additional minutes of the Ligue 1 season at Stade du Moustoir. It's been an entertaining game, this.
QUERCIA! Well, the shot itself was unspectacular, but the ball dipped alarmingly towards goal, forcing Sakho to pat down before reclaiming the ball. World-class goalkeeping that.
Late flurry of activity here in Lorient, as Gameiro's dreams of a hat-trick is dashed with a wayward shot over Audard's goal. At the other end, SAkho has pretty much nothing to do!
The tempo's died down a little after the controversy of moments ago, but there's a positive feel in the atmosphere, as both sides continue to attack furiously, as van der Wiel's effort flies wide.
Penalty GoalArnaud Le Lan
GOAL! LORIENT 1-3 PSG! Arnaud Le Lan tucks away the penalty with aplomb, as he beats Mamadou Sakho, who doesn't even bother with the dive. They congratulate each other though, nice touch.
SUBSTITUTION - Mamadou Sakho - defender by day, goalkeeper by night in goal. Wearing Areola's shirt, he replaces Chantome.
Well, comical scenes here in Lorient - PSG have goalkeeper Ronan Le Crom sent off, somewhat harshly, after a challenge in the box with Julien Quercia., He's in tears.
Red CardRonan Le Crom
PENALTY TO FC LORIENT!
JOUFFRE! Great effort, but just wide. Le Crom forced to track that all the way, after a mazy run through the midfield. A highlight of what is a disappointing performance on the whole from him.
Lorient are pushing for at least a consolation goal, with another chance, from Jouffre being denied by Le Crom. Superb stuff, but PSG are on the ropes a little here.
Julian Quercia on, as Lorient continue to push, with ashot froma corner forcing Ronan Le Crom into a fine stop. His first action in Ligue 1 this term.
SUBSTITUTION - Ludovic Giuly comes off to a standing ovation, as both teams show their appreciation for a great servant of the French game. Sylvain Armand presents Giuly with a PSG shirt, he played there as recently as 2011.
19 minutes to go here, and it's a foregone conclusion in the Moustoir Stadium. Meanwhile, Lorient are readying a substitution. And I think I know who's going off.
GOALFLASH: Valenciennes 1-1 Troyes - Benjamin Brou Angoua's goal virutally condemns Troyes to relegation to Ligue 2. They need a goal, and for Sochaux to concede to stay up.
That was PSG's 101st goal of the season, a record surpassing the previous tally of 100 set in the 1983 season. It's been a positive season in the capital.
PSG ending the season on a high, with Gameiro on top form. He'll likely be leaving the club this summer after a lack of first team opportunities, but what a game he's having!
GOAL!! LORIENT 0-3 PSG - KEVIN GAMEIRO! Again, two in three minutes, and PSG are on FIRE! Superb finish from Gameiro, rifled into the bottom corner after fine build-up play, encompassing Tiene, Matuidi and Pastore. Game. Over.
GOAAAAAL! LORIENT 0-2 PSG - Kevin Gameiro with the goal! Superb move, and an easy finish against his former side. Ibrahimovic dribbles past Gassama, finds Gameiro, who taps into an empty net. 2-0.
Ronan Le Crom
SUBSTIUTTION - PSG: Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola goes off to be replaced by FOURTH CHOICE Ronan Le Crom. PSG do have keepers to spare it seems, having used all four now in their last four games!
GOALFLASH: Lille 1-1 Saint-Etienne - Hamouma with the goal after fine work by Hamouma. That means Lille drop to fifth, out of the Europa League places, with Nice in 4th. Sainte in sixth, but they've already clinched a EL place by virtue of the Coupe de la Ligue win.
JOUFFRE! Great save by Areola, and Lorient continue to test the visitors after falling behind. It's a fantastic move from the hosts, but the midfielder's efforts bring a comfortable save from Areola once more.
Christian Gourcuff's side continue to push forward, in search of the equaliser, but a tame shot from distance is easy for Alphonse Areola to contend with.
GOALFLASH! AC Ajaccio 0-1 OGC Nice - Dario Cvitanich scores to put Nice ahead as they search for Europa League qualification. He has 21 goals for the season, and cost just two million euros. What a buy!
GIULY! Superb shot, and into the side-netting. What a shame! It was a great chance, fantastically threaded in by Enzo Reale, the 36-year-old holds his balance to rifle past Camara, but frustratingly wide.
STAT: Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now equalled the highest goal tally in Ligue 1 - set by Jean Pierre Papin of Marseille in the 1989-1990 season.
GOOOOOAL! LORIENT 0-1 PSG - Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Who else? Number 30 of the Ligue 1 season, a record by the Swede in his career. Lovely move by Gameiro, who crosses towards the striker, and Ibra cleans up by heading past Audard.
Yellow CardYann Jouffre
Lot of questions to ask as the Ligue 1 season comes to an end - what was your favourite moment? Are PSG deserving winners? Who will replace Carlo Ancelotti? TWEET me @mohammedali_93.
Robert chases down Camara, with Robert unable to get the ball off Gregory van der Wiel, who expertly shields the ball to maintain PSG's attacking venture.
SUBSTIUTION - FC Lorient: Mario Lemina off for 21-year-old Enzo Reale - Lemina is still feeling the effects from that Lavezzi collision. Meanwhile, he's tripped by Verratti.
UNDERWAY! In the final 45 minutes of the 2012-13 Ligue 1 season, we have a substitution, but it's Lorient who get us started in this second half.
HALF-TIME: FC Lorient 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain. Join us again in 15 minutes for the second half.
AS IT STANDS: Lyon in the Champions League, Lille, Saint-Etienne in the Europa League, and Troyes are relegated. May all change in the next 45 minutes.
Coming upto the end of the first-half here at Stade du Moustoir, and we'll have two minutes of additional time.
Audard with another fine save to deny PSG, as he comes across off his line to race to the loose ball. Elsewhere in Ligue 1, It's Lille 1-0 Saint-Etienne - a huge goal from Salomon Kalou.
PASTORE! Poor effort. Fine move by Verratti who produces a brilliant piece of skill to feed in the Argentine. Gameiro's waiting across the goal, but the Argentine opts to shoot....misses... then is on the receiving end of a furious tirade from the striker.
Elsewhere in Ligue 1 - Bordeaux are 2-0 up against Evian, Cheick Diabate with the double. Here in Lorient, the hosts' free-kick blocked once more by Camara.
GAMEIRO! Wide. Good run from the former Lorient star, who is fed in by a neat through-ball. One on one, and under the challenge of Gassama, he lifts the ball over the rushing Audard, but with little accuracy, as the ball flies wide.
Pastore unable to link up with Ibrahimovic, whose effort is blocked, before the visitors, at the other end see the same thing occur with Robert's effort denied by Verratti.
Giuly whistled offside after great work by Maxime Barthelme, with the retiring star pulling a face towards the assistant referee. Meanwhile, Lemina, sporting a heavy bandage, wins a free-kick off Pastore's challenge.
AS IT STANDS: Troyes are 18th, still in the drop zone, on goal difference from Evian, who are safe. For them to stay up, they need Sochaux to lose, as they have a better goal-difference than Les Lionceaux.
GOALFLASH: Nancy take a 2-0 lead against Brest, though they are already relegated - Sebastien Puygrenier with his seventh league goal of the season. Yes, seven, and he's a defender.
IBRAHIMOVIC! Poor header, and that's well, well, well wide. Fantastic run from the right by Gameiro, whose cross is pinpoint. Ibra gets over Ecuele Manga, but he doesn't even trouble Audard there.
Robert unable to penetrate the Parisien defence, as Monnet-Paquet falls short under the challenge of Camara, but the hosts look to be closer to breaking the deadlock here.
AREOLA! Fine save from the young PSG goalkeeper, in his first Ligue 1 start. Shot comes in from Robert, and he parries it away well. Fantastic vision from Giuly to create that.
Le Lan with the free-kick delivery, curled in towards the far post, and headed away by Camara. Ibrahimovic begins the counter, but well stopped by Barthelme.
Barthelme again a superb influence on the right, does well to cut in and supplement the attack, but Armand concedes a free-kick for a crunching challenge on Ludovic Giuly.
Corner, taken by Monnet-Paquet, is poor, easily saved by Alphonse Areola in the PSG goal. Still 0-0 here at Stade du Moustoir.
Barthelme, into Jouffre, and subsequently Monnet-Paquet, who advances down the right wing. Stopped by Tiene, who concedes for the corner.
GOALFLASH: GOAL! Lyon 1-0 Rennes - Lisandro penalty following handball, the goal they need for Champions League qualification. Elsewhere, it's Lille 0-0 Saint-Etienne.
Long ball from Gameiro, picked up by Audard, but Lorient give possession away as soon as they reclaim it, as Ecuele-Manga halts Ibrahimovic's progress.
Lorient continue to pose problems offensively, as Barthelme lets fly with a left-footed shot, blocked by Armand, who is having a busy last few minutes or so.
Fine pass towards Gassama, with Monnet-Paquet on the overlap. Matuidi slips, but Lorient continue their pursuit. Into the area, and Armand with a fine header away.
Tiene brings the ball away after getting the better of Kevin Monnet-paquet, as Pastore reciprocates the favour back to the Ivorian. Gameiro whistled offside, however.
SUBSTITUTION: Kevin Gameiro on for Ezequiel Lavezzi - the Argentine hasn't recovered sufficiently from that collision, and is replaced. Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic is whistled offside.
Brief delay in plat as Lavezzi and Lemina are ordered off the field by Benoit Bastien, the referee, as they get cleaned up, and after two minutes, we're underway again.
Lavezzi down after a collision with Lemina on the edge of the penalty box. Nasty that, the medical staff are on. Slight delay in the game.
GIULY! It's Lorient who are threatening at the minute, with two great chances in quick succession. The forward's cross into the box is dangerously headed away by Armand in front of his own goal, with Areola beaten.
GOAL UPDATES: Troyes take a 1-0 lead against Valenciennes, but Nancy's lead against Brest means they still are in the relegation zone. Toulouse race into a 2-0 lead against Montpellier in Rene Girard's final game.
Ibrahimovic! Great tempo to this game already, as the Swede gets his first shot away, under pressure from the defence, but it's a comfortable safe for Audard who holds well.
CHANTOME! Close, just wide of Audard's goal. Great effort from the midfielder, another one tipped to leave the capital this summer. Fed in by Matuidi, he lets fly from distance, curling just wide of goal.
Pastore dispossesses the opposition and streaks forward, with Lavezzi to his right. The former Napoli star uses his pace well to sprint past Le Lan, but his cross towards Matuidi is poor, and flies out for a goal-kick.
All the pressure coming from the hosts early on here, as Barthelme comes in off the wing, feeding Lautoa in the middle, but he's unable to link up with Robert up front, as the move breaks down.
GIULY! Wide of the mark, but a great build-up from the Merlus side. The 36-year-old latches onto the loose ball in the middle of the park, races into a fine position, but drags his right footed shot wide of Areola's goal.
The game of the night takes place at Grande Stade Lille Metropole - as Lille take on Saint-Etienne, where if Lyon lose tonight, the winner of that fixture takes a place in the Champions League. Updates here, but back in Lorient, Matuidi held off the ball by Ecuele Manga with a superb block.
The likes of Siaka Tiene and Zoumana Camara handed starts tonight, and they're widely expected to depart the capital this summer, as the latter picks up possession at the back and races forward.
And it's PSG who are on the berak, as the ball is played towards Pastore, whose tame effort is picked up by Audard. Good start to the match, there's a relaxed feel to it.
It's Lorient who start the brighter here from the off, as David Beckham, newly retired, watches on. Ludovic Giuly, who is set to join him, fires a shot which is blocked by Areola.
KICK OFF! The final round of Ligue 1 matches gets underway, and here at Stade du Moustoir it's PSG who get us going.
FC LORIENT: Audard; Gassama, Ecuele-Manga, Lautoa, Le Lan (c); Monnet-Paquet, Jouffre, Lemina, Barthelme; Robert, Giuly
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN: Areola - Van der Wiel, Camara, Armand (c), Tiene - Chantome, Verratti, Matuidi, Pastore - Lavezzi, Ibrahimovic
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
Lorient themselves have nothing to play for, safely in mid-table after failing to qualify for the Europa League. Nevertheless, in scenes reminiscent of David Beckham's tearful farewell last week (he does NOT feature tonight) former Barcelona and PSG star Ludovic Giuly hangs up his boots this evening. A glittering career, indeed.
Could this be Carlo Ancelotti's swansong? Rumours continue to persist that he will leave for Real Madrid, though it has been confirmed in the past week that the Italian trainer had privately asked the club's hierarchy to allow him to leave. What kind of atmosphere can we anticipate? Who would you want as the next PSG boss? Tweet me @mohammedali_93.
PSG sit ten clear of Olympique de Marseille, who end an extraordinary season, given their financial limitations, in second place and automatic Champions League qualification. They play Stade de Reims this evening, on the 20th anniversary of their UEFA Champions League victory - the first final in 1993.
Back to Stade du Moustoir, in Lorient, where PSG can relax in Brittany as they celebrate their league triumph. It's in stark contrast to this fixture last season, where PSG had to beat Lorient and hope Montpellier lost to Auxerre to capture the 2012 title. Lorient took the lead, amidst fierce crowd trouble and stoppages, before PSG rallied to win, but Montpellier rose above their own crowd problems to pick up their maiden league title. None of that tonight, one hopes.
Round 38, the final matchday of an enthralling Ligue 1 season, and whilst the title has been sown up, there is still lots to play for. There's a full programme of Ligue 1 fixtures tonight, concerning European places and relegation battles, and I'll be on hand to convey the information as and when it happens.
As has been the norm every week, I'm Mohammed Ali, and I'll be guiding you through today's events for the next two hours. Good evening and welcome to the final Ligue 1 live commentary of the 2012-13 season on Goal.com! Tonight sees champions Paris Saint-Germain travel to FC Lorient for the third time in three years, as they aim to finish off on a high.
