Stunning save denied Maiga early on and was assured thereafter. Distribution seems to be improving, with one throw in particular setting up an attack.
Another encouraging performance from the youngster. Poor control let him down early on but he grew into game and was a decent outlet going forward.
As always was a threat going forward but continues to struggle with his final ball into the box. Also turned inside out by Jarvis on occasion but got one cross right to set up Suarez's goal.
Dominant on his return to the starting line-up as he cut out numerous through balls and made some crunching tackles. Also got himself on scoresheet after turning in Gerrard's free-kick at the back post.
Solid at the back after being beaten in the air by Maiga for an early chance. Looking more comfortable on the ball this season, though his own goal wiped some sheen off his performance.
Never stops running despite being forced into wide areas. Struggled in front of goal but few rival his work rate.
His fine range of passing allows Liverpool to spread the play, though he was guilty of misplacing some easier balls in midfield. Yet another set-piece created Sakho's goal.
Kept the ball effectively as he looks to be getting back to his best in the centre of midfield.
On another day he would have had a hat-trick but his finishing was atrocious other than the effort that was well saved by Jaaskelainen. Pace caused no end of problems.
Some neat passes but not at his best. Looked to shoot at every opportunity but saw many of his efforts either blocked or fly off target.
Not quite at his best but still managed to score one and claim assists for two more. Trickery caused problems on the occasions he was given time on the ball.
Made some good stops but really should have held Suarez effort that ricocheted in off Demel. Could also have done better with second goal.
Looked to get forward but was largely wasteful when on the ball. Troubled throughout by the pace of Johnson and Sterling.
Played Suarez well as he made some fine challenges on the in-form striker. Unlucky not to clear the Sakho effort under his own crossbar.
Did well when covering his centre-halves and looked to get forward when he could. Unfortunate to see ricochet bobble into the net for the opener.
Made blocks aplenty in the first half as the hosts fired in a number of shots. Lost possession for the opening goal though not totally his fault. Replaced in the second period.
Certainly posed a threat on the right-hand side and swung in a couple of decent crosses. Wasn't able to get the better of Flanagan as much as he would have wanted and replaced at half-time.
The best player in a white shirt as he broke up play well and went on the odd marauding run that posed a threat. His cross helped set up West Ham's goal.
Got the better of Johnson on occasions and was a real threat during the second period. A well-directed header at the back post laid on Skrtel's own goal.
Poor pass into Tomkins led to opening goal and struggled to get into the game throughout. Lucky to escape a booking after persistent fouling in the first half but deservedly sent off late on.
Shielded his defence well and didn't allow Coutinho or Suarez time on the ball. Less effective when coming forward as the visitors chased the game.
Movement caused problems early on but he was soon isolated. On another day his header would have given the visitors the lead but he was denied by Mignolet.
