Steven Gerrard had a penalty saved by the goalkeeper, who was tremendous throughout, and goals from McAuley and Lukaku ensured it was the Baggies who take all the points.
Brilliant away performance from West Brom. Sat back, defended well, soaked up the pressure and stunned Liverpool with two late goals. Ben Foster was outstanding.

Liverpool appeal for another penalty, but the referee waved away protests after it looked like Coutinho's shot has handled in the box.
GOAL!!! The visitors have done it again. James Morrison runs into Liverpool's half and plays in Lukaku. He brilliantly flicks it past Agger and rifles it past Reina.
Chance for West Brom. Romelu Lukaku has just ran an entire half with the ball, but he could only drag his shot wide. Daniel Agger just did not know what to do with him.
Liverpool are trying their best to try and get back ino this one, but West Brom are holding their own.
Now then. That has put a cat amongst the pigeons. It has been all Liverpool, but West Brom find themselves in front. Foster will be the hero if they manage to do so.

His first-time effort is going to Foster's right whilst the goalkeeper was going left, but he somehow punched it away from goal. Borini runs onto the loose ball, but he can only stab wide.

Gareth McAuley has just come to the rescue of the visitors. Suarez has darted into the box, but his shot is blocked by the defender.
Substitute Fabio Borini produces a fine save from Foster with his first effort since coming on. He ran into the box and drove straight at hte goalkeeper, but he got down quick and low to deny the striker.
The play has slowed down as both sides try to get on top of each other. It has turned into a midfield battle.
This time the ball comes down the left-hand side. Enrique delivers a cross into the box, but it is straight at Foster. West Brom are digging in deep at the minute.
Suarez takes the free-kick, but the ball is straight into the wall.
Luis Suarez is fouled on the edge of the box. Two substitutions are delaying the set-piece being taken.
Claudio Yacob and Steven Gerrard are enjoying a good old ding-dong tonight. Two meaty challenges from the Liverpool have left the West Brom skipper winded.
West Brom have started a lovely passing move of their own, but the ball is cleared. They are struggling to keep the ball for longer than four or five passes at the moment.
Chance for Liverpool. Johnson has been at the heart of most of the home side's attempts this evening. His low cross into the box is almost flicked in by Jordan Henderson, but Foster makes a point-blank save.
Chance for Liverpool. Downing burst into the box and has two attempts on goal, but they are both blocked.
Reina goes direct for the first time in the match, and it almost sees Suarez with a chance at goal, but the ball is just slightly overhit and Foster claims.
Liverpool get us back underway, and are straight on the attack. Johnson takes on Ridgewell, but he runs the ball out of play.
The Baggies are hanging on in there at the minute, and Liverpool are looking strong. It should be an eventful second half.
Liverpool have dominated the first half. Jonjo Shelvey thought he had opened the scoring, but it was ruled out for offside. They are pressing high up the pitch, and are causing the visitors all sorts of problems. On the otherhand, West Brom have yet to register a shot on target yet.

Steven Reid is booked after a late challenge on Suarez.
Chance for Liverpool - if you can call it that. Shelvey knocks the ball across to nobody, and Steven Reid attempts to clear the ball, facing the oppositions goal. Somehow though, he scooped the ball over his own crossbar - with Foster at full stretch. His face said it all. Very lucky.
Chance for Liverpool. Johnson and Suarez link up well, but the latter cannot get his shot on target. The game is starting to open up now.
The corner comes to nothing. For the first time in the match, the visitors are starting to get a hold of the ball - especially in Liverpool's half - and are starting to close down Pepe Reina when he has the ball.
West Brom have a won a corner, but there is a break in play as Olsson and the referee have a conversation.
The resulting the corner sees Gerrard whip a cross into the box, but Agger cannot quite get his head onto.
Johnson slips in a diagonal ball into the box for Suarez, but Jonas Olsson is on hand to nick the ball away for a corner.
West Brom are being pressed high up in their own half at the minute, and it is causing the defence a few problems.

Downing wins and takes a corner, and although nothing came of it, Suarez tried an outrageous pass - he kicked the ball with his right foot from behind his standing foot - back into the box, but the ball was cleared. Brilliant play by the Uruguayan.
The home side are trying to pass the ball in at the moment. A passing interchange in and around the box eventually sees Stewart Downing dink one in the centre, but the ball is slightly overhit and the chance comes to nothing.
West Brom cannot get a hold of the ball at the moment. The hosts are being patient with their possession, and the visitors are chasing the ball around Anfield.
The hosts are the side on top at the moment. Suarez takes on Dorrans before playing a short pass to Gerrard. The midfielder makes some room for himself, but his shot wide went of the post.
OFFSIDE GOAL: After a patient build up from the back, Glen Johnson burst into the box and unleashed a powerful left-footed shot at Foster. The goalkeeper could only palm into the direction of Jonjo Shelvey, and he slots home. Unfortunately for Liverpool, he was in an offside position.
Suarez is almost in behind the West Brom defence, but Ben Foster rushes out of his goal and clears the ball to safety.
Chance for Liverpool. Steven Gerrard played a long, searching pass and the ball dropped at Luis Suarez's feet. His attempted half-volley went wide of the post.
We have a break in play already as Graham Dorrans receives treatment after falling from a height when challenging for the ball with Jose Enrique.
