With Chelsea 1-0 down at the break, things did not look so rosy for the Blues, but thanks to the likes of Juan Mata and Eden Hazard, they put on quite a show in the second half, scoring five goals. With this win, Chelsea go through to the semi-finals and they will find out who they will meet in just a few minutes. Stay tuned with Goal.com for the Capital One Cup semi-final draw.

Full-time at Elland Road as Chelsea complete their 5-1 hammering of Leeds United.
90' + 2'
Some lovely footwork and skill by Oscar on the right of Leeds' area. He jinks past Peltier like he wasn't there, only to be fouled by the defender. However, the referee seems to be the only person in the stadium he didn't think so.
Two minutes of added time confirmed at Elland Road. Considering the amount of substitutions, it is a surprise only two minutes have been awarded, but perhaps the officials just want to put Leeds out of their misery.
Leeds still looking for a consolation goal or two here, but if Chelsea can get a hold of the ball, one wouldn't bet against them getting a sixth.
Apart from the first 15 minutes, this second half has been so easy for Chelsea. The hosts have tried to attack in order to restore their original lead, but Rafa Benitez's men have just picked them off.
GOAL!!! Number five for Chelsea! Mata did well down the left, cutting the ball back to Lampard, who shot from a tight angle. Ashdown made the save to his right, but in came Hazard who squared to Torres, with the Spaniard tapping in from close range.
GOAL!!! Chelsea get a fourth and wrap up this match for good! Leeds won themselves a corner, but the visitors broke with immense pace and after an exquisite through ball from David Luiz, Hazard scooped the ball past Ashdown when through on goal. Majestic finish.
Cech does not inspire confidence at the corner as he comes to punch but connects with it poorly. Leeds then claim for a penalty, as Tonge goes down after a tackle by Oscar.
White gets free from Azpilicueta down the left and crosses, but the Spaniard does well to get back and put the attempted delivery behind for a corner.
Tonge takes the corner, but it goes no further than the near post. Such a waste, and not for the first time.
What a chance for Leeds! McCormack brilliantly twists and turns his way into space on the right and then crosses, but Becchio appears to head the ball away from the goal. Luiz then deflects a shot behind for a corner.
Ashley Cole is on for Chelsea and his first job is to help defend a Leeds free kick and he does well as he pokes the ball away from McCormack.
A few changes and an injury to Bertrand gives the players a few moments of respite. The defender looks set to be replaced.
Yellow CardRyan Bertrand
The free kick is booted into the area by Diouf, but Chelsea clear it easily before springing a counterattack. Moses gets forward down the left, passes inside for Hazard who then shoots towards the near post, just like Moses before him, but this time Ashdown makes the save.
After a manic few moments, Leeds have a free kick just inside the Chelsea half. The visitors are looking increasingly dangerous on the break.
GOAL!!! Chelsea get their second in as many minutes, potentially securing their place in the semi-finals. Victor Moses cut in from the left, skipping past a challenge before firing into the bottom corner of the net from 20 yards.
GOAL!! Chelsea take the lead at Elland Road! The resulting corner is delivered from the left with serious venom, and Branislav Ivanovic connects with a powerful header to find the net.
Lovely combination play between Mata and Hazard down the right. Mata pokes the ball through to Hazard, who returns the pass. The Spaniard then backheels the ball back to the Belgian, who then crosses brilliantly. Byram puts it behind for a corner.
Lampard tries his luck from range, and not for the first time this evening, but as with every other instance Ashdown gets down and makes the save.
Diouf whips the set-piece into the area, but despite dropping in a dangerous part of the box, Leeds cannot capitalise and Chelsea clear.
Good play by Byram down the right as he wins a free kick from Ryan Bertrand.
Chelsea making the first substitution as Eden Hazard comes on for Marko Marin, whose made his first start for the Blues this evening.
Big save by Ashdown! Azpilicueta crosses from the right and Torres meets it with a header at the far post, but Ashdown pushes it away.
The second half has been a lot more even than the first period so far, which is good news for Leeds. However, the fact the game is more open will likely play into the hands of Chelsea, with the likes of Mata and Oscar on the pitch.
Good work by Thomas on the left flank has he skips past two challenges before finding Becchio, but the Argentine's return pass is awful and Chelsea take possession.
Marin and Azpilicueta combine down the right before picking out Torres, but instead of laying the ball off to the German again, Torres tries to do too much and eventually puts the ball out for a Leeds throw-in.
A few tentative penalty shouts for Leeds this time as Diouf takes a heavy first touch and then goes down under the pressure of Luiz. Nothing given, and rightly so.
Leeds doing their best to mount some kind of response to that Mata goal, but Chelsea's defence is holding firm currently.
A few penalty shouts from Chelsea fans as Pearson appears to be all over Torres after a Mata cross, but the referee takes no notice.
Chelsea could not have wished for a better start to the second half, with Leeds already looking considerably deflated.
GOAL!!! Chelsea are level within a minute of the second half starting! The Blues put together a great passing move and after a Moses pass on the edge of the area, Mata calmly places the ball into the bottom corner. Ashdown got a hand to it, however, and should have kept it out.
We're off for the second half.
Chelsea go into the break one goal down, but would argue they had the better of that first half. The visitors have forced Jamie Ashdown into a few good saves and have generally looked far more composed in midfield, but they have not created many clear-cut chances. Leeds have been more clinical and they do look dangerous going forward, but Ashdown has bailed them out on occasion. Rafa Benitez's side have it all to do after half-time.
45' + 3'
Half-time at Elland Road and Leeds United go into the break one goal up.
45' + 2'
Great save by Ashdown! Lampard opts to shoot rather than put it into the danger area and it looked to be going towards the bottom corner, but the goalkeeper gets a hand to it, and then Peltier clears it before Moses can collect the rebound.
45' + 1'
We are into the three minutes of stoppage time now, and Chelsea have themselves a free kick in a good position after Brown fouled Oscar. Lampard to take, about 35-yards from goal.
Good work by Diouf down the left as he cuts on to his right foot and crosses, but Leeds heads over from eight yards. He'll be annoyed about not hitting the target there.
Dangerous attack by Leeds again and it ends with Tonge crossing from the right, and Azpilicueta puts it behind just before Green can get his head to it.
Victor Moses has the ball in the back of the net, but Torres was flagged offside in the build-up. It was very, very close, but probably correct.
Another good save from Ashdown as he palms away Lampard's 25-yard strike. The shot bounced just before it got to the goalkeeper, but the former Portsmouth man dealt well with it.
Chelsea are trying to get back in control following that goal, but Leeds are not giving them any time on the ball and Elland Road is roaring. "You're getting sacked in the morning" echoes out from the home support.
GOAL!!! Leeds United take the lead against Chelsea! David Luiz roamed forward and misplaced a simple pass allowing Leeds a fantastic chance to counter. The ball was immediately played out to the left where Thomas crossed with the outside of his right foot, and Becchio strokes it past Cech.
The Leeds midfield sits off Ivanovic, inviting him forward and he obliges by shooting from range, with the effort fizzing just over the bar.

Chelsea back on the front foot and they too win another corner as Moses' shot it put behind.
Quite simply, it isn't any better, as Diouf's delivery is effectively cleared by the first man.
Down the left Leeds attack again, and the match sees another corner won. Hopefully it'll be better than those previous.
After a significant period of pressure from Chelsea, Leeds are having a bit of their own possession. They don't appear to be going anywhere with it at the moment, though.
Another corner for Chelsea as Mata beats Brown with laughable ease on the edge of the area before shooting, but Pearce heads his effort behind.
Torres attacks down the right, keeping the ball in play and then beats Pearce only for Peltier to make a good covering tackle.
Good play again by Moses as he controls a Lampard pass before shooting from the edge of the area, but Ashdown flies to his left and turns it away.
Chelsea are claiming for a penalty as Victor Moses gets into the area before falling to the floor. Brown was in close proximity, but even with a replay there does not seem to be much contact.
We're back underway as Thomas knocks the ball back to Cech.
We have a stoppage in play currently as Michael Brown receives treatment. The midfielder clashed with Mata off the ball before falling into a heap on the floor.
A much better free kick from Diouf and Pearce gets his head on it, flicking it just wide, but had he left it Lees was surely going to open the scoring.
Good play by Brown as he jinks past two tackles, only to be crudely brought down by Oscar. Diouf stands over the free kick.
Leeds waste the opportunity from the free kick and Chelsea get straight back on the attack. Marin crosses from the right and Lees looks to smash it clear, but it is sent back goalwards as Lampard blocks the clearance. Luckily for Leeds, it goes out for a goal kick, rather than to Torres.
Yellow CardFrank Lampard
Free kick to Leeds just inside their own half after a rather wild tackle from Frank Lampard. The midfielder came sliding through Diouf from behind, and then complains about being given a yellow card.
Mata's corner is poor and is headed away by the first man, while Diouf tries to start a counterattack.

In goes the free kick and it is headed back across goal by Lees, but no one is on the other end and it goes harmlessly wide for a goal kick.
Leeds win a free kick on the right wing as Lampard goes flying in on Sam Byram. The 19-year-old jumps out of the way, and there was not much contact, but Lampard certainly went in with a lot of force.
After a quick and energetic start from Leeds, Chelsea look to have settled and are trying to control the tempo. Their passing has been far from perfect so far, however.
Corner comes in from the left, but Leeds deal with it rather easily.
Good save by Ashdown! Mata played Moses into the area to his left and the Nigerian winger fired, left footed towards the near post, but Ashdown puts it behind for a corner.
Oscar involved again as Marko Marin cuts in from the right and lays the ball off for the Brazilian, but Brown blocks his long range effort.
Chelsea look to spring an attack, but after a hard pass from Lampard, Oscar loses possession, unsurprisingly and the ball ends up with Ashdown in the Leeds goal.
Diouf skips away from Ivanovic and Azpilicueta on the left side before crossing from the byline, but Cech catches with ease.
Thomas trying to make progress down the left again, but Azpilicueta does well against the West Brom loanee.
Mata dwells on the ball and Diouf steals it from him, but the forward eventually goes down under a challenege from Ivanovic. The referee isn't having any of it.
Leeds already attacking down the left as Jerome Thomas does a couple of step-overs before crossing past Azpilicueta, but the delivery was poor and Chelsea clear.
Andre Marriner blows his whistle and Chelsea kick off the action.
The two teams are out on the pitch at Elland Road. The stadium is bouncing already. We could be in for quite a contest tonight.
And now for Chelsea's team: Cech; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Ivanovic, Bertrand; Lampard, Oscar; Marin, Mata, Moses; Torres. Subs: Turnbull, Cole, Ferreira, Ake, Saville, Piazon, Hazard
