Shots on Target
That's all that we have time for from Juventus Stadium, as a Vidal hat-trick lit up Juventus' 3-1 Champions League victory over Copenhagen, keeping the Italian side in the Champions League for the time being. I've been Simon Harrison, and I hope to see you again next time.
Pirlo and Vidal dragged Juventus through the game with their majesty, with Vidal's two expertly taken penalties and excellent header being the perfect way for the hosts to manoeuvre their way towards the knockout stages.
FULL TIME! Juventus have got the job done, dispatching of Copenhagen 3-1, with a hat-trick from Arturo Vidal providing the scoring touch for the reigning Serie A champions. Mellberg's fleeting equaliser threw a potential spanner in the works, but in the end it's a well deserved victory for the Old Lady.
90' + 3'
Into the final minute of play here in Turin, and it's going to be a well deserved win for Juventus. The away side have been on the back foot for the entire game, and a two goal lead for Juventus is the least that the Italian outfit deserve.
90' + 1'
POGBA! Pirlo breaks through the centre of midfield, before laying the ball off to the onrushing Pogba, who drags another long range effort wide of the target. It's not quite happened in terms of goalscoring for the young French midfielder tonight!
VUCINIC! The substitute tries his luck from range, turning smartly before dragging a right-footed strike narrowly wide of the post. Wiland had it covered, but that was really travelling.
Wiland is off his line quickly to punch another corner delivery clear of the danger zone, but Copenhagen are immediately put under pressure once again. They have been penned in their own half for the vast majority of the game. Pirlo then uses a gorgeous turn to completely wrongfoot Jacobsen.
Five minutes left, and it's a party atmosphere in Turin for the home side, as their qualification is seemingly sealed, with the hosts also remaining in control of the game. Copenhagen may have felt that they could be more resilient tonight, but against a star-studded side of league champions, it was always going to be tough.
Vidal gets a standing ovation of epic proportions as the hat-trick hero is pulled from the action, standing up on the substitutes bench to applaud the home support. What a game the Chilean has had, a hat-trick of the highest quality and importance.
MARCHISIO! The substitute tries a cheeky flick inside the penalty area, looking to direct Vucinic's pass towards goal. The referee pulls play back for offside however.
Into the final ten minutes, and anything other than a Juventus win looks extremely unlikely at this point. Tevez is replaced to raucous applause, and Conte appears to be giving a few rotational players a run out at the highest domestic level. Not long left for Solbakken's side to get back in this.
Wiland is exceptionally quick off his line, reading Pirlo's intended pass to race out and clear the ball off Llorente's boot on the edge of the penalty area. Excellent goalkeeping, the Swede has certainly given a good account of himself in the Champions League during this campaign.
Amankwaa's first contribution for Copenhagen is to be beaten by an audacious flick from Pogba, before blocking off the Frenchman. Not the best start, but his pace could offer Juventus a few problems on the break. Pirlo tries his luck with a long-range free-kick, but Wiland claims with ease.
Danny Kwasi Awankwaa
Both sides are looking to their options on the bench to change things in the last quarter of an hour, with Copenhagen in particular needing to take the impetus. The Danish side have no reason to defend in numbers now, the focus is getting forward and testing Buffon.
Solbakken can only look on as his team are outclassed by a Juventus team that offers so much in midfield. Pogba, Pirlo and Vidal have all made excellent contributions tonight, with Claudemir and Delaney unable to smother their creativity.
Copenhagen are struggling to string any passages of play together, with set pieces and long throw-ins being the only source of threat for the away side. Aside from dead ball scenarios, the visitors have offered little.
JORGENSEN! Another case of pinball in the Juventus penalty area, as both Sigurdsson and then Jorgensen fail to force a ball through a ruck of defenders to find the back of the net. Last ditch, scrappy stuff!
Well, what a hectic last ten minutes. From staring at the possibility of crashing out of the Champions League group stages, Juventus are now in a commanding position and look extremely likely to pick up the three points tonight. Copenhagen don't look like a side that can produce an additional two goals tonight.
TOUTOUH! Pirlo is robbed of the ball by the Dane, before a vicious effort from the Copenhagen forward forces Buffon into his first save of the game! The aging shot-stopper gets down quickly to his left to palm away the strike.
TEVEZ! The Argentine sees a shot blocked by Mellberg from only eight yards out from goal, as Juventus really are going for a fourth goal to secure their passage through to the next round. The stadium is rocking now, no sense of tension exists anymore!
Assist Paul Pogba
Goal Arturo Vidal
GOOOOOOAL! WHAT A HEADER FROM VIDAL! That's his hat-trick! A back post cross was hung up excellently by Pogba, and the Chilean headed across goal to convert! In off the bar! Juventus now have a two goal lead!
Penalty Goal Arturo Vidal
GOOOAL! VIDAL CONVERTS AGAIN! Coolly done once again, the Chilean fires the ball into the bottom left corner for the second time this evening, and the celebrations from the home crowd show exactly what that goal means! Juve lead 2-1!
Yellow Card Olof Mellberg
PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! Another penalty, and it's Mellberg who has brought down Llorente! The referee only opts to get out a yellow card, when it could easily have been a red. Great turn from Llorente!
The home crowd are silent and slightly restless once again, as the magnitude of the situation hits home. The away supporters are suddenly audible once more, and Copenhagen would certainly leave overjoyed with a point against last season's Serie A champions.
His celebrations might have been muted due to his former commitments at the club, but that goal could have huge implications on Juventus' season. Copenhagen continue their excellent recent scoring record, and another goal from the Danish side would see Juventus knocked out!
Goal Olof Mellberg
MELLBERG! What a great finish from the central defender! An almost scissor-kick finish from the Swede, who returns to Turin with a bang! Buffon's first real duty is to pick the ball out of the back of the net! Copenhagen level things at 1-1!
Great sliding challenge from Bonucci! The Italy international denies Jorgensen the chance to test Buffon, after the Dane was almost slipped in behind Juventus' lines. In fairness, I think that would have been Buffon's first task of the evening.
Despite a spirited Copenhagen resurgence at the start of the second half, Juventus now have the game back under control. The visitors are chasing things once again, and the combination of Llorente and Tevez is continuing to cause a few problems.
Good defending from Sigurdsson and Jacobsen! The former makes a good interception to steal possession from Pogba, before the latter makes an excellent block to deny the onrushing Asamoah!
TEVEZ! The Argentine balloons an effort way over the bar from 25 yards out, after good link-up play between himself and Llorente. They've managed to create plenty of half chances between themselves, but neither has really tested Wiland yet.
Close for Pogba! It's a good cross to the back post from Padoin, but Pogba misjudges his jump slightly and doesn't connect with the flight of the ball, despite his rather zany hairstyle giving him the best possible opportunity to get something on it.
SIGURDSSON! Caceres clears under intense pressure in the Juventus penalty box, and the ball strikes Sigurdsson before rebounding wide! That deflection could have gone absolutely anywhere from six yards out, and that will buoy Copenhagen!
We are back underway for the second half, with Copenhagen needing to find a goal from somewhere if they are to keep their Champions League hopes alive! If things stay as they are, Juventus won't be heading out of the competition tonight, but should Copenhagen turn this game around, the Old Lady will be dumped out.
Andrea Pirlo has been in fine form so far, picking out some defence-splitting passes and ensuring that in-form Llorente has seen plenty of the ball. Copenhagen haven't got an answer for the link-up between the duo, but still are by no means out of this game.
HALF TIME! A solid performance so far for Juventus, who lead thanks to an excellent penalty dispatched with confidence by Vidal. Conte's men can't lose tonight, and have thus far done enough to justify getting a place in the knockout stages.
Only a few minutes until half time, and Copenhagen will be keen to head into the dressing room with the score still at 1-0. The hosts have had much the better of the first half, and Solbakken will be content to have a chance of recovering in the second half. Copenhagen always tend to have a goal in them.
LLORENTE! Excellent ball from Pirlo, as can be expected, as he feeds the Spanish striker thorough on goal, but a poor touch lets him down! The pass was great, but the control was less so, allowing Sigurdsson to recover and clear the danger.
POGBA! He has whistled a ferocious effort narrowly wide of the near post, but Wiland had that covered all of the way. The France international has found pockets of space to try his luck, but is yet to test the away side's goalkeeper.
Llorente is being involved in almost every attack for Juve, holding up the ball and laying off flicks and headers to his teammates. Copenhagen don't have an answer for the intimidating Spaniard, and are once again struggling to escape from their own penalty box.
PIRLO! It's another free-kick effort from the veteran midfielder, but it's straight at Wiland! He gets the power and the dip, but fails to direct the ball away from the Swedish keeper. A few half chances for Pirlo is this game, but he's yet to showcase a wonderstrike.
VIDAL! What an effort from the Chilean! He shaped to strike the ball with his right foot, before chopping inside his marker with a smart turn. He looks to curl the ball into the far corner with his left foot, but Wiland is able to get across easily to claim. Not enough power on it.
PIRLO! The veteran maestro looks to find the top left hand corner with a dipping free-kick effort, but it's narrowly over the crossbar. Wiland had that one covered, and I'm sure that Pirlo would have liked to have done much better with that opportunity.
Yellow Card Ragnar Sigurdsson
Sigurdsson is booked for stopping a Juventus counter-attack in its tracks, clattering through the back of Llorente. Copenhagen have been able to build from the back and maintain possession just inside the opposition half, but are yet to create anything.
How things can change in a matter of minutes! The home crowd are much more settled, with the pressure momentarily lifted from the hosts' shoulders. A second goal is now the desire of the entire stadium, as Copenhagen have found the back of the net in all but one of their last 20 fixtures, Juventus need a cushion.
Penalty Goal Arturo Vidal
GOOOOAL! Excellent penalty from Vidal, who blasts the ball into the bottom left corner, beating Wiland all ends up! That was the goal that Juventus needed, the relief is tangible! Jacobsen will want to forget that incident as soon as possible. The hosts lead 1-0!
Yellow Card Lars Jacobsen
PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! Jacobsen has seemingly given away the spot-kick, and it looked to possibly strike the hand of the Copenhagen captain! He looked to shy away from a tackle from Pogba, and the ball strikes his arm!
Only a few moments until the half hour mark, and both Conte and the support inside the Juventus Stadium will probably have hoped that their side would have been in front by now. The longer Copenhagen hold out, the more the pressure and frustrations will rise, which is exactly the scenario that Copenhagen would ideally want their opposition to be in.
Copenhagen aren't to be flustered in possession, although Juventus are clearly determined to find the opening goal of the game with keen pressing. Solbakken's side are confident in their ability to be resilient, and the pressure that Juventus' restless fans are putting on their side probably won't help the hosts' cause.
Juventus are looking to Llorente at every opportunity, as neither Sigurdsson nor Mellberg can really deal with the aerial threat of the former Athletic Bilbao striker. Tevez is looking play off his strike-partner, making it important that Copenhagen look to shut down the supply line stemming from Llorente's head.
Jorgensen shows how his pace makes him a useful outlet for an away side, as the Dane outpaces Chiellini to cause Juventus a few moments of danger. Llorente then knocks down a long ball to Tevez, who sees his first time shot blocked by Mellberg!
A bit of retaliation from Vidal, as the Chilean midfielder lashes out slightly after being hassled by Bolanos in the midfield third, but the referee has a quiet word with the Juventus man rather than reaching straight for his pocket.
Good punch from Wiland! The visiting goalkeeper is quick off his line to beat a cross away from the head of Llorente, who is of course the focal point of this Juventus side. Both the Spaniard and Tevez have looked lively in the early stages, and Copenhagen will need to keep tabs on them both.
DELANEY! Half chance for the midfielder, as Mellberg's header at the back post is directed back towards the Dane! Bonucci is able to clear Juventus' lines however!
The home side are just getting into their rhythm, with Pirlo starting to see more of the ball in the centre of the field. With their heavy midfield presence, there is every reason to believe that Juventus will be the dominant side throughout, with Copenhagen needing to counter-attack.
Sustained pressure from Juventus, and Solbakken is already looking like a rather isolated figure on the sidelines. The away side are unable to push out from the edge of their own penalty area, as the Juve attacks are relentless. Whenever a clearance is made, the hosts collect possession and start again.
BONUCCI! The centre half makes his way up to meet a corner delivery at the near post, but doesn't get firm enough contact to guide it towards goal! The ball instead zips through the corridor of uncertainty!
Tevez in a good position again! The former Manchester City striker cuts inside both Jacobsen and Mellberg, but allows the ball to get away from him as he entered the penalty area. Wiland collects.
TEVEZ! The Argentine fires wide of the target, after a smart cutback from Asamoah! It whistles wide of the post after a clear deflection, but the referee gestures for a goal kick. Tevez is rightly annoyed at the decision!
Ten minutes in, and Juventus might feel as though they should be ahead through Pogba's great early chance. Copenhagen have managed to grow into the game slightly in the past five minutes, taking advantage of the excellent playing surface with some slick, patient passing.
Toutouh is brought down by Vidal, allowing for Copenhagen to whip in a free-kick from deep and load the box with physical presences. It's Mellberg who gets his head to the delivery, but the Swedish defender can only nod wide of the target.
POGBA! What a chance for the young Frenchman! Pogba made an intelligent run from deep, before being found with a chipped ball, leaving the former Manchester United midfielder in acres of space. He tries to curl the ball into the bottom right corner, but inside fires straight at Wiland!
Juventus have already shown their intent to push both Padoin and Asamoah forward, and the likes of Pirlo have been looking to open up the field by finding the wing-backs. There's every chance that the 3-5-2 system could trouble the Copenhagen full-backs.
A good interception from Mellberg prevents Llorente's clever flick around the corner from finding Tevez, but it's all pressure from Juventus early on. Copenhagen have admitted that they're here for a point, and they've certainly been prepared to drop deep and soak up the hits thus far.
Pogba gets two half chances to provide an assist from the edge of the penalty area, but the in-form Frenchman fails to get the ball out from under his feet and Claudemir dispossesses him. Positive stuff from Juventus thus far, who will be looking to stamp their authority on the game.
We are underway in this first half! Copenhagen will be hoping to frustrate and remain resilient as they have done on two occasions in the group stages, while Juventus will be hoping to keep Llorente firing upfront. Plenty of quality on offer for Juventus tonight, with particular emphasis on Pogba, Pirlo and Vidal as the midfield trio for the hosts.
The teams march out onto the field, and both sides know what is needed from them tonight. Juventus will be looking for a win on home soil, while I presume that Copenhagen will be keen to grab a point. Should this end as a draw, the last round of group games will certainly be interesting - this group is exceptionally tight!
Just under ten minutes to go until we get underway, and Juventus will presumably have to come out of the blocks in style if they are to get a breakthrough goal against a Copenhagen side that will be very well organised. Solbakken has had success against the Champions League's big boys in the past, and tonight will be no exception. Once one goal goes in, however, it's hard to say how the away side will react.
Juventus have the in-form strikeforce of Llorente and Tevez, as the former has finally looked to find his feet in Serie A. Copenhagen opt for much of the same following their home win against Galatasaray, but their goalscorer from that night, Daniel Braaten, misses out entirely.
Copenhagen substitutes: Cesar Santin, Margreitter, Kristensen, Remmer, Jensen, Awankwaa, Pourie.
Copenhagen starting line-up: Wiland; Jacobsen, Mellberg, Sigurdsson, Bengtsson; Delaney, Claudemir, Bolanos; Gislason, Jorgensen, Toutouh.
Juventus substitutes: Ogbonna, Marchisio, Vucinic, De Ceglie, Peluso, Quagliarella, Storari.
Juventus starting line-up: Buffon; Chiellini, Bonucci, Caceres; Asamoah, Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal, Padion; Llorente, Tevez.
The previous two occasions that Copenhagen have made the journey to Italy, they have been on the end of defeat, spelling out trouble for Solbakken's travelling support tonight. A 3-0 win against Napoli not too long ago signals the intent of Juventus to hunt down silverware again this season, and it remains to be seen as to whether Copenhagen can provide any kind of obstacle.
Last time a Danish team travelled to face Juventus, the Serie A outfit dispatched of FC Nordsjaelland 4-0, after being held at 1-1 in Denmark in the previous leg. Copenhagen will hope to buck the trend this evening, as a point would be invaluable towards their hopes of progressing further in European football's most prestigious competition.
Only one point separates the three teams trailing behind Real Madrid in this group, with both sides realistically having a real opportunity to push on towards the knock out stages of the competition tonight. Copenhagen have shown that they are no pushovers in Denmark, but on the road Stale Solbakken's side have been less impressive. Johan Wiland was excellent last time the visitors faced Juventus, and he's required to be in similar form this evening aswell.
I'm Simon Harrison, and I will be keeping you fully updated with all of the action from Juventus Stadium, as last season's Serie A champions look to build upon good recent form. Both sides have managed four wins in their last five matches, with Copenhagen also picking up a notable scalp against Galatasaray last time out in this competition.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of one of tonight's Champions League group games, between Juventus and Copenhagen. The visitors enjoyed success in the previous clash between these two sides, grabbing a point from the game at Parken, but it's doubtful that Antonio Conte will be satisfied with anything less than three points from his almost full strength starting line-up tonight.
