Thanks for joining me today, I hope you've enjoyed the action.
Milan are the champions of the Supercoppa Italiana 2016 on penalties! In truth it was a poor match for the most part, with Juve a real disappointment. In the end the better side won, even if it did come down to the lottery that is a penalty shootout!

C. Marchisio
Penalty SO Goal
Juventus FC
GOAL!!! Marchisio plants it right into the top-right corner. Amazing penalty.
First up it's Donnarumma versus Marchisio...
After 120 minutes, these two sides still cannot be separated. So, you know what comes next; a penalty shootout!
120' + 2' END OF EXTRA-TIME!
G. Higuaín
Yellow Card
Juventus FC
120' + 1' NO PENALTY! Juve are furious, as Evra flicks the ball up and it appears to hit De Sciglio on the hand, but the referee ignores the protests and books Higuain for his arguing.
119' Dybala tries to do it himself, as he accelerates into the area and gets to the goal-line, but Donnarumma comes out and plays the ball against the Argentinian and out for a goal-kick.
117' WHAT A MISS! Evra does well on the left and squares the ball into the danger zone for Dybala, who seemingly has a simple tap-in, but he inexplicably blasts it over.
115' We are into the final five minutes; either the match is settled or we head for penalties. Will we have one final moment of magic? Or perhaps one last mistake...
113' Juve look encouraged by that disallowed goal, though. They remain on the attack and Dybala clips a cross into the danger zone, with Paletta forced to head it behind. It comes to nothing, though, as Rugani nods the corner delivery over.
111' NO GOAL! Evra finds the back of the net with a clever finish from a tight angle, but their celebrations are cut short by the raised flag. He was well offside.
109' Milan are straight back up the other end as they spring a rapid break. Bonaventura does well on the left and pokes a pass into the area for Pasalic, but his eventual shot is poor.
108' Better from Higuain, as he gets into the right side of the area and shoots at Donnarumma, who puts the ball behind. He then plucks the resulting corner delivery out of the air.
106' Milan get the second half of extra-time under way.
The two teams will have a very quick break and swap sides before getting things back under way. Are we headed for penalties? Stay tuned for the final 15 minutes!
105' + 1' HALF-TIME!
104' Poor from Higuain, as he tries to get into the box and then throws himself to the ground under pressure from Kucka. The referee rightly ignores his protests, though he probably could have booked him for diving.
L. Antonelli
I. Abate
AC Milan
102' And a final switch for Milan as Abate - who was suffering with cramp - is replaced by Antonelli.
G. Lapadula
C. Bacca
AC Milan
102' Second Milan change now, as Bacca's miserable outing ends and Lapadula comes on.
100' Brilliant tackle from Chiellini, as he manages to halt Suso just before Juve looked in danger of getting outnumbered.
99' Juventus enjoy something of a rare venture into the Milan half, but Evra's cross is cut out and Montella's side look to get back on the front foot.
97' Milan are giving the ball to Suso every time they attack. Again he crosses right-footed and Chiellini manages to clear it behind. Bacca then fouls the Italian at the resulting set-piece.
96' The set-piece comes to nothing, as Buffon clears. But Milan comes straight back for more.
95' Suso involved again now, this time smashing a cross against Lemina to win a corner.
93' JUVE SURVIVE! How on Earth are Milan not ahead? Suso breezes past Evra yet again, crossing right footed across the face of goal. Bonaventura gets a shot away which is parried by Buffon. It lands at the feet of Bacca, but he isn't alert and it simply hits him and the goalkeeper pounces.
91' Off we go in extra-time.
The referee brings the first 90 minutes to a close and we are heading for extra-time - and potentially penalties - after neither side could add a second.
90' + 3' END OF 90 MINUTES!
90' + 1' Suso's right-wing delivery finds Bacca at the back post, but he can't quite himself over it enough and he heads the ball comfortably over.
90' Great delivery from Bonaventura on the left, as he drops deep and crosses. Evra completely misses it and it almost falls for Kucka, but he can't react quick enough.
88' It's Milan putting on all the pressure here. Time is running out, but Montella's men are throwing everything at this.
86' Suso has absolutely destroyed Evra today. Once again he flies past the Frenchman and sends a brilliant ball right acros the face of goal, but Lichtsteiner is there to guide it away at the back post before Bonaventura can get to it.
84' BUFFON TO THE RESCUE! Yet another Suso cross causes havoc, as Milan dig deep. Bacca meets it with a header, and although he gets it wrong by putting it into the ground, it rises up and the goalkeeper has to claw it away.
82' Great delivery from Khedira, as he bends a cross in from the right towards Mandzukic, but Abate comes across to clear.
81' Milan look to have run out of steam since Dybala's entrance. It's all Juve at the moment and they're piling the pressure on.
M. Lemina
S. Sturaro
Juventus FC
79' Another Juve switch now. Lemina takes over from Sturaro.
76' CLOSE! Seemingly out of nothing Dybala goes very close, as the Argentinian sends a rasping drive just wide of the bottom-right corner from 30 yards. He had Donnarumma scrambling.
M. Pašalić
M. Locatelli
AC Milan
74' Milan change now, as Pasalic comes on to replaced Locatelli.
73' Better from Higuain. He dribbles into the edge of the box and appears to have the goal in his sights but for a last-ditch knock on the ball by Romagnoli. He is forced a little wide and he drills the ball into the goalmouth, only for Abate to hack clear.
72' Dybala's delivery is decent, but it is headed away at the near post by Kucka. The Argentinian's introduction certainly seems to have spurred Juve on a bit.
M. De Sciglio
Yellow Card
AC Milan
70' Clumsy tackle from Milan left-back De Sciglio, as he catches Lichtsteiner. Dybala wonders over to take it.
69' Poor from Higuian, as he tries to take on Paletta but shows him too much of the ball and gives him an easy tackle to make. Juve keep the pressure on and Sturaro wins a free-kick out on the left, but the set-piece doesn't come to much.
P. Dybala
M. Pjanić
Juventus FC
67' On comes Dybala now, in fact. Pjanic, who has faded badly since the first half-hour, is the one to make way.
66' It must be said, Milan look the more likely to win this at the moment. They've really improved since a dire showing in the first 30 minutes or so. Things could be about to get tougher, though; Dybala awaits.
64' Good play again from Khedira, as he rides a couple of challenges and gets a left-footed shot away from the edge of the area, with Donnarumma making a straightforward save.
62' JUVE ESCAPE! Suso runs at Evra and breezes past him, before seeing a decent delivery hacked away. Milan are straight back on the front foot and Kucka flashes an even better cross right into the goalmouth, but Bacca can't quite reach it.
60' GREAT SAVE! Khedira, who has been quiet today, explodes into life with a 25-yard drive which looks destined for the top-right corner, but the huge Donnarumma tips it over.
J. Kucka
Yellow Card
AC Milan
58' Yellow card for Kucka now, as he and Abate sandwich Evra. I'm not sure how the referee determined which one was the culprit, but he made his decision.
58' OFF THE BAR! Juve are living on the edge here! Yet another brilliant Suso cross is met by Romagnoli in the area and he diverts the ball on to the frame of the goal.
57' This is a good spell from Milan. They break forward and Bacca runs towards the defence. He feeds Suso into the right side of the box and he shoots, only for Chiellini to block it behind.
56' Good effort from Higuain! The Argentine brings the ball down near the right corner of the area and blasts it goalwards. It curls away from the far post in the end, but it was a fine attempt. Mandzukic clearly feels he should have crossed instead, though.
54' When will Juve learn? Milan are causing problems with crosses, particularly from the right. This time it is Abate who delivers from deep and Bacca almost gets to it.
52' Another wonderful cross from Suso. The Spaniard brings a lofted pass down on his chest, keeps it in and then curls a brilliant delivery into the danger zone, which Bacca can't quite get to.
50' Juve again on the front foot, as a quick move sees a three-on-three scenario develop. Higuain feeds Khedira into the left side of the area and the German looks to cut the ball back to the striker, but his return pass is awful and easily cut out by Paletta.
48' Almost a way through for Milan, as Higuain tries to poke a pass through for Sturaro and the midfielder is sent tumbling by Abate, but it was a fair tackle.
46' Off we go for the second half.
The referee brings a lively first half to a close in Doha, with the scores level at 1-1. Juve took a deserved lead after a strong start, with Chiellini finding the net. But Milan eventually grew into the game and responded with a well-crafted Bonaventura equaliser. Much more to come.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME!
45' + 1' There are to be two minutes added on here.
45' Milan are finishing the half well, as Bonaventura ties Chiellini in knots out on the left, before switching it to the right. Eventually Suso crosses back towards the Italian, but he accidentally knocks it out for a goal-kick.
A. Romagnoli
Yellow Card
AC Milan
43' Everyone's furious here. Romagnoli produces a decent tackle on Mandzukic but is booked, while Juve are angry because the referee brought their counter-attack to an end.
42' Excellent defending from Abate. Mandzukic produces a fine cross from the right and it looks set to drop kindly for Sturaro, but Milan's right-back is there to put it behind.
40' Lichtsteiner is very, very lucky to still be on the pitch. He challenges Bonaventura aerially and leads with his elbow, catching the Italian in the face. The referee stays his hand.
Suso
Assist
AC Milan
38' Assist Jesús Joaquín Fernández Sáez de la Torre
G. Bonaventura
Goal
AC Milan
38' GOAL!!! MILAN ARE LEVEL! Lovely goal by Montella's men. Suso cuts on to his left foot on the right and curls a sublime cross into the danger zone and Bonaventura delicately glances it into the left side of the goal beyond the helpless Buffon.
38' A first involvement for Evra, as Higuain feeds him into the attacking third. But the Frenchman's pass into the area for Sturaro catches the midfielder flat-footed and Paletta sees it out.
37' Buffon is finally called into action, as Kucka gets on the end of Bonaventura's free-kick delivery, but the header is extremely tame and the goalkeeper saves with ease.
S. Lichtsteiner
Yellow Card
Juventus FC
35' So the referee does have his cards with him! Lichtsteiner is the first to have the yellow flashed in his direction, as he catches Bonaventura with a late and clumsy tackle.
34' What a delivery! Bonaventura cuts in on the left and crosses right-footed towards the back post and Sturaro does just enough to put Kucka off, as he fails to connect with the ball.
P. Evra
Alex Sandro
Juventus FC
33' This is a blow for Juve. Alex Sandro has pulled up with an injury and will have to go off. But Patrice Evra isn't a bad replacement, is he?
31' Locatelli again the culprit, as he goes flying in and brings Sturaro down. By the looks it someone will have to lose a limb before a yellow card is handed out by the referee.
30' And now Locatelli gets in on the action, cynically barging Lichtsteiner and knocking him over. Again, no booking.
28' The tackles are starting to fly in now, with Mandzukic going in hard - but fair - on Paletta, before Pjanic catches Bertolacci with a nasty lunge. He escapes a booking, though.
26' This is a bit better from Milan, as they enjoy some possession out wide and get the ball into the danger zone. Bonaventura sees two cross attempts blocked, but at least Montella's side are looking a little more purposeful.
24' The crowd loved that! Alex Sandro collects a loose ball out on the left and, without looking, he flicks it back through the legs of Abate, leaving the Italian for dead. His cross is then deflected behind for a corner.
22' Free-kick to Milan on the right flank, as Alex Sandro crashes into the back of Suso. The initial set-piece causes no trouble, but the Spaniard is back on the ball shortly after, cutting on to his left foot and curling a fine cross just wide of the left-hand post. It almost went in by itself!
20' No one can have any arguments with Juve taking the lead. The Serie A champions have been so much better than Milan so far. Will they respond and become a threat themselves?
M. Pjanić
Assist
Juventus FC
18' Pjanic's set-pieces have been excellent so far and this was another, dropping the ball in the danger zone for Chiellini to guide home.
G. Chiellini
Goal
Juventus FC
18' GOAL!!! JUVE HAVE THE LEAD! Milan initially did well, as Abate cleared behind the goal after Donnrumma denied Sturaro, but from the resulting corner Chiellini rises and heads in Pjanic's dream cross.
16' Milan get themselves a free-kick in the Juve half now, as Marchisio rather clumsily trips Bertolacci from behind. They struggle to craft anything from it, though, as they end up passing all the way back to Donnarumma. Montella's men really haven't offered anything yet.
14' Pjanic can't quite get the free-kick over the wall, however, as it takes a deflection and goes over. The corner doesn't come to much either, but Juve eep the pressure on.
13' Good play by Donnarumma, as he cleverly gets away from the approaching Sturaro, but Milan come straight back after his clearance and eventually Paletta is forced into a cynical tug on Higuain 25 yards from goal. He somehow escapes a booking, but this is a great position for Pjanic.
12' The combined talents of Bacca, Suso and Bonaventura are going to be key for Milan if they are to do well today, but we've not seen much from them yet.
10' Romagnoli slices a clearance behind for a corner, as the Juve pressure increases. The delivery eventually falls for Alex Sandro 25 yards out and his shot is gobbled up by Donnarumma.
9' Poor from Mandzukic this time. Sturaro showed great awareness to duck under a bouncing pass and let it go for the Croatian, but his attempted cross is easily cleared. Nevertheless, this is a good spell of pressure from Juve, who are starting to take control.
8' Good save! Mandzukic partially brings a lofted ball down on the edge of the area and it sits up nicely for a half-volley, which Donnarumma turns around the post. Pjanic then delivers a fine ball from the resulting corner, but somehow everyone manages to miss it.
7' Good play by Abate, as he drops his shoulder and darts past Sturaro before crossing, but his delivery is pretty poor and fails to get beyond Chiellini at the near post.
6' This time Bacca does win a free-kick, as he drops deep and then spins around Chiellini, who hauls the Colombian down.
4' This time it is Juve feeling hard done by, as Pjanic lines up a shot on the edge of the box and is barged over in the process, but agan the referee allows play to continue.
3' A good free-flowing start to proceedings. Juve are quick to get back up the other end after Bacca's trip, with Pjanic finding Sturaro to his left and the midfielder shoots at Donnarumma from 20 yards.
2' Early remonstrating from Milan, as Bacca is tripped by Chiellini while trying to race on to an overhit through pass. Nothing given.
1' Off we go! Milan get us started in Doha.
But in the end Galliani backed down and things are set to go ahead as planned, with the two teams almost ready to head out of the tunnel at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, which can only hold a rather measly capacity crowd of just under 13,000.
For Juve it has all been rather smooth in their preparations. A 1-0 win over Roma was their fourth successive victory across all competitions and they encountered no issues on the trip over. The same cannot be said for Milan, however, who  were delayed massively on their journey over and have been in Qatar for a little under 24 hours, with club chief Adriano Galliani threatening to pull the plug of the match as a result of their travel woes.
Juventus booked their place in this match by virtue of winning, well, everything. Allegri's men steamrollered all comers in Serie A last term and then beat Milan 1-0 after extra-time in the final of the Coppa Italia, while Montella's side qualified due to their appearance in May's final.
Of course, Italy likes to do things a little differently to everyone else with respect to a match which is often used as a season curtain-raiser. This is the second time in three years that the contest has been played out in Qatar, while it is also taking place once again in December as opposed to the start of the season, as the more astute of you will realise.
Vincenzo Montella has made three alterations to the Milan side, though. They stuttered to an underwhelming 0-0 draw at home to Atalanta at the weekend, seeing them fall even further behind pacesetters Juve. Dropping to the bench today are Luca Antonelli, Mario Pasalic and Gianluca Lapadula, with Mattia De Sciglio, Manuel Locatelli and Carlos Bacca coming in.
There aren't too many surprises in either side toward, with Masimilliano Allegri naming the exact same starting XI as he did for Juve's 1-0 defeat of Roma on Saturday. That means Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain continue in attack, with Miralem Pjanic supporting. Paulo Dybala, who is steadily regaining fitness, is on a rather impressively stocked bench.
Milan subs: Gabriel, Antonelli, Gomez, Zapata, Honda, Mati Fernandez, Pasalic, Poli, Sosa, Lapadula, Luiz Adriano, Niang.
Milan starting XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Abate, Paletta, Romagnoli, De Sciglio; Kucka, Locatelli, Bertolacci; Suso, Bacca, Bonaventura.
Juve subs: Neto, Audero, Barzagli, Benatia, Evra, Coccolo, Hernanes, Lemina, Asamoah, Cuadrado, Pjaca, Dybala.
Juventus starting XI (4-3-1-2): Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Rugani, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Marchisio, Sturaro; Pjanic; Mandzukic, Higuain.
First of all, let's introduce the teams...
Hello and welcome to the LIVE coverage of the Supercoppa Italiana between Juventus and AC Milan. I will be describing the action for you today, as these two sides go head-to-head in Doha in what is a repeat of last season's Coppa Italia final.
