  • That's your lot from me anyway, folks. It wasn't the goal fest we all was hoping for, but not every game is. Thanks for joining me and don't forget to come along next time...
  • Ventura will be disappointed with his midfield who rarely offered support to the front two of Cerci and Immobile, and although a loss at the San Siro isn't the most embarrassing of results - he will certainly feel his side have the quality to get a point here.
  • Another disappointing display against a big side by Torino, who never really looked like scoring today, or even like they wanted to score. They sat too deep and allowed Inter to control the play for too much of the match.
  • Well that's that. It certainly wasn't pretty from Inter, but they got there in the end and it could turn out to be a vital three points in their hunt for European football.
  • 90' + 4'
    Yellow Card Emiliano Moretti
  • 90' + 3'
The referee blows for full time in controversial circumstances. Cerci wants a free kick right on the edge of the Inter box, but the man in black waves away the protests and ends up booking Moretti for dissent.
  • 90' + 2'
Shocker! El Kaddouri finds himself in acres of space inside the Inter box, but the Torino man loses his head and lashes his shot well wide of the goal. Big chance right at the death there.
  • 90'
Too little, too late from Torino. The away side have decided that they want something from this game and have begun to throw players forward in the dying moments. A cross from Immobile is dealt with easily by Handanovic, though.
  • 89'
    Substitution Mauro Icardi Saphir Taider
  • 88'
That just shows what Palacio is all about. Inter break and the striker carries the ball what must be 50-yards before being brought down by a cynical tackle from Darmian. He runs so much in every game.
  • 86'
    Yellow Card Matteo Darmian
  • 86'
What a tackle by Andreolli! Torino piece together a flowing move around Inter's box, but the big man steps out and puts in a strong tackle that stops the move dead.
  • 85'
    Substitution Migjen Basha Riccardo Meggiorini
  • 84'
Inter are really toying with Torino now - the away side haven't got close to them since the hour mark and it all looks too easy in the middle of the park for Cambiasso and co.
  • 81'
Wonderful play by Hernanes. He's really looked a different player this half, one of the few Inter players that have been trying for a second. This time he skins his man on the edge of the box, then does him again before dragging his shot just wide of the post. So unlucky.
  • 79'
Saying that, who could blame them? Torino look to have all but given up on getting anything from this game. For the majority of the game they've had two bansk of four parked right outide their own box.
  • 77'
    Yellow Card Panagiotis Tachtsidis
  • 76'
Inter really look like they're main objective is to see this one out rather than looking ot kill the game with another goal. There's no real drive to get forward and are happy to play around with the ball on the halfway line.
  • 75'
    Substitution Hugo Campagnaro Marco Andreolli
  • 74'
Kovacic has looked impressive since he's come on for Guarin. The Croatian picks up the ball near the halfway line, skins Tachtsidis and drives towards goal, but his tame shot is easily gathered by Padelli. At least he's trying something, though.
  • 72'
Rodriguez has been a shining light for Torino today. The defender has bossed the back line and is one of the few players that has tried to carry the ball up the pitch. This time he takes the ball off Hernanes with ease and begins another Torino counterattack.
  • 70'
So much space in the middle of the park again. For some reason, Torino have began to sit back and are allowing Inter to control game. If they allow the home side to have the ball then they've got no chance of snatching an equaliser.
  • 69'
    Substitution Fredy Guarín Mateo Kovačić
  • 67'
Great player by Hernanes again, but he's still lacking the confidence that he showed at Lazio over the past few seasons. He gathers the ball on the edge of the box, skins a defender and should really shoot, but takes too much time an is dispossessed.
  • 65'
    Substitution Giuseppe Vives Panagiotis Tachtsidis
  • 65'
Cambiasso is looking to slow the tempo of this game by controlling the play from the centre circle. They're using him almost as a quarterback here and is the outlet for every Inter player on the pitch - he's always available and in space.
  • 63'
Great effort! Hernanes plays a cheeky free kick into the box that fools everyone and finds Palacio waiting on the penalty spot, but the striker has left his shooting boots at home and blazes way over the bar. Should have really scored there.
  • 61'
Inter are sitting very deep and it's only giving Torino more chances to find a way back into this game. They need to switch back to the intense pressing they implemented in the first half.
  • 59'
CLOSE! Torino are right back in this game now, there's no doubting that. Again, Cerci goes close with a cracking cross-cum-shot that Handanovic does well to smother.
  • 57'
Substitution Jasmin Kurtić Omar El Kaddouri
  • 56'
The game's really opened up since half time. Whatever Ventura said in there has certainly worked. Basha drives forward and fires a shot just wide of Handanovic's near post, great effort though.
  • 54'
Torino attack again, and this time it comes from their main man in Cerci - his first real chance to threaten Handanovic's goal. He cuts in onto his left foot and bends his shot towards the back post, but Handanovic is equal to it.
  • 53'
    Yellow Card Giuseppe Vives
  • 53'
PENALTY SHOUT! Guarin puts the ball into the box from the right and Icardi manages to get a touch on it to take it away from Rodriguez - the striker goes down easily and the referee waves away any calls for a spot kick.
  • 51'
Nagatomo is so underrated. He swings in a wonderful cross from the left, but again no-one is there to meet it. It's such a shame that most of his hard work is so often wasted by his team-mates.
  • 49'
It's a really positive start by the away side, who are pushing high up the pitch and look a completely different side in the opening few minutes of the second half.
  • 47'
Torino have started the second half on the front foot, and Immobile immediately tests Handanovic with a stinging effort that the goalkeeper does well to turn behind for a corner.
  • Ventura will need to change things up here and press Inter rather than allow them to control the game from inside Torino's half. Cambiasso has been given too much time on the ball and if you press him then he could be forced into making an unexpected error.
  • Torino have been equally uninspiring so far. We all knew they'd sit back and try to hit Mazzarri's men on the break, but they've really lacked an attacking quality here at the San Siro and will struggle to get anything from this game if they continue in that fashion.
  • Solid half by Inter here today, even if uninspiring. They've got plenty of players forward, but have struggled to threaten the Torino goal really. Their goal game from constant pressure rather than a moment of brilliance.
  • 45' + 1'
Torino finding their way into this game late in the half. Another ball over the top is again mopped up by Handanovic, this time it was Vives's ball that was dealt with in cool fashion by the Slovenian.
  • 44'
Handanovic very alert there. A ball over the top from Immobile almost finds Cerci, but the Inter number one is quick off his line and sweeps up at the back.
  • 41'
Inter are throwing players forward again and after a lovely move in the final third, the ball falls to Hernanes who goes close with a low drive across Padelli. Unlucky from the Brazilian, he looks to be finally finding his feet in this game.
  • 39'
Absolutely shocking from Palacio. A cracking pass from Cambiasso sees Inter hit Torino on the break following ht away side's corner, but as he's bearing down on goal the Argentina international decides to play a scooped ball into the path of no-one. What was he thinking there?
  • 37'
Torino with a chance to find a way back into the game from a dangerous free kick deep inside Inter's half. Cerci's drilled ball in is clever, but Palacio reads it and puts it out for a corner, which is cleared by Campagnaro.
  • 36'
Esteban Cambiasso is still pulling the strings for Inter at the ripe old age of 33. He drives forward and from the edge of the box plays a lovely ball into the box that is just out of Icardi's reach.
  • 34'
Inter are flooding players forward now, it seems only a matter of time before they get a second. Ventura needs to get his side in as it stands and re-assess what they want to achieve from this game.
  • 32'
If either side deserved a goal it was Inter. Torino, as organised as they've been, haven't looked like they want to win this game at any point. They're happy to sit back, which was always going to haunt them.
  • 30'
    Assist Esteban Cambiasso
  • 30'
    Goal Rodrigo Palacio
GOAAAAAAL! Rodrigo Palacio finds the back of the net in somewhat fortuitous circumstances, lobbing the ball over Padelli with a looping header from six-yards out.
  • 28'
The resulting corner comes to nothing, but you know a goal is coming sooner or later in this game. Inter have changed gear in the last few minutes and are looking confident now.
  • 26'
CHANCE! Great work by Guarin down the right sees him beat his man with a lovely bit of skill before putting in a perfect cross that finds the head of Palacio which is saved expertly by Padelli.
  • 24'
Finally a chance for Inter, but unfortunately it falls to the feet of Guarin who sees his shot from the edge of the area blocked by Rodriguez, who moments earlier had blocked another effort from Palacio.
  • 22'
TOUCH! Nagotomo pulls one out of the book of Dimitar Berbatov with an unbelievable first touch by the touchline. He brings it down and swings in a cross, but there's no-one there to meet his ball in.
  • 20'
It's a gameplan that's working a treat at the moment. Inter are struggling to create any real chances and lacking the directness of Ricky Alvarez.
  • 18'
Torino's gameplan is obvious here. They've been camped in their own half for much of the opening stages, seemingly happy to allow Inter to have the ball and create most of their chances on the counterattack.
  • 16'
Hernanes's turn to have a pop from range. Inter are awarded another free kick, this time about 25-yards out, but the Brazilian doesn't get enough loft on his effort and it goes straight into the wall. What they'd give for a certain Alvaro Recoba, eh?
  • 14'
Massive chance for Immobile. After a Torino corner falls to him on the edge of the box, you'd put your house on him finding the back of the net, but he fires it high & wide and the chance is gone.
  • 13'
Oh dear. Inter win a free kick about 40-yards out and Guarin lines it up to the dismay of the home crowd. The midfielder begins his run up and belts it at least 30-yards over the bar. Shocking effort.
  • 11'
Ooof. Rodriguez almost puts the ball in the back of his own net, but the defender gets lucky and it loops over the bar for an Inter corner kick, which in turn is wasted by the returning Hernanes. Far too deep.
  • 9'
Torino with their first notable attack of the game as an exquisite through ball finds Cerci in the Inter box, but the Italy international can't find space and is eventually forced to concede possession. Chance wasted - they'll need to support him if they're going to score today.
  • 7'
Poor ball from Guarin there - that won't earn him the new contract he's after. Inter outnumbered Torino in the away team's half, but the Colombian tries a Hollywood pass that goes straight out for a throw-in.
  • 5'
Great work by Nagotomo down the left, but no-one is willing to help him out and he's eventually hounded out by the Torino defence. He'll need support down that left side if they're to have any success today.
  • 4'
Inter are pressing high in the early stages, hoping to pin Torino back and not let there two in-form forwards anywhere near their goal.
  • 2'
A robust start to the game sees the tackles flying in right from the off. Fredy Guarin is down and feeling the power behind Farnerud's challenge - making Guarin aware of his presence.
  • 1'
After a slight delay, we're finally underway here at the San Siro! Let's hope it's an absolute cracker-jack today.
  • Torino, on the other hand, are on a dismal run of form, picking up just one win from their last five Serie fixtures – a run that sees them languishing in ninth after such a positive start to their campaign.
  • Inter are unbeaten in their last ten Serie A games at the San Siro, winning five and drawing five, and Walter Mazzarri will be hoping for another solid display today in order to keep their hopes of playing European football next season alive.
  • The only other changes for Inter are in defence, where Campagnaro and Ranocchia have come in for Juan and Walter Samuel respectively. It will be interesting to see if these changes will effect what has been a relatively solid defence of late, one that has kept three clean sheets in its last five home games.
  • The main change to Inter’s line-up comes in the form of January signing Hernanes. The Brazilian has been given a starting role for this afternoon’s game, and Mazzarri will be looking to him to produce some of the magic he’s shown at Lazio over the years – even more so with Ricky Alvarez missing through injury.
  • Giuseppe Ventura has rung the changes by bringing in no less than five faces that didn’t start in the home defeat to Sampdoria last time out. However, their star man Alessio Cerci still remains in the starting line-up and the forward will be hoping to add to his 11 goals in Serie A this season.
  • Torino subs: Gomis, Berni, El Kaddouri, Barreto, Gazzi, Gyasi, Barreca, Aramu, Meggiorini, Tachtsidis.
  • Torino starting line-up (3-5-2): Padelli; Darmian, Rodriguez, Moretti; Vesovic, Basha, Vives, Kurtic, Farnerud; Cerci, Still.
  • Inter subs: Castellazzi, Carrizo, Zanetti, Andreolli, Kovacic, Kuzmanovic, Botta, Taider, Milito, D'Ambrosio.
  • Inter starting line-up (3-5-2): Handanovic; Rolando, Campagnaro, Ranocchia; Nagatomo, Jonathan, Guarin, Cambiasso, Hernanes; Icardi, Palacio.
  • I hope you’re ready for a goal fest; the last time these two sides met in Serie A saw them both come away with a point after a thrilling 3-3 draw in Turin. Will it be the same again today?
  • Good afternoon sports fans. I’m Kevin Blundell and I’ll be taking you through all the action from Inter Milan vs Torino.
