Pizarro is put through but he's offside and that's the end of that. Very straightforward win for Bayern, who never looked back after striking twice in the space of four minutes just before the break.
Well, that's it from me, folks. A predictably dominant victory for Bayern, who will be anticipating a far sterner test in their likely final showdown with Atletico Mineiro. Until then, take it easy. Good luck and thanks for following the game with Goal.
There's going to be three minutes of added time but, in truth, this game's been over for quite a while now.
SO CLOSE! Lahm gets on the end of an inviting cross from Shaqiri but the skipper's volley is brilliantly tipped onto the bar by Zeng before Guangzhou manage to clear.
The sting has completely gone out of the game and even Bayern look a bit disinterested at this stage.
Martinez comes forward to try his luck from the edge of the area but the Spaniard's strike is awful. High, wide and not very handsome at all.
Bayern still searching for another goal, in fairness. Gotze sees a low strike roll just wide before Shaqiri lets fly only to slice his shot badly.
Just a case of keep-ball for Bayern at the moment. Guangzhou really need this game to end now.
Another change for Bayern now, as Pizarro takes over up front from Mandzukic, who has put in another serious shift for Guardiola's side.
Guangzhou also made a change there, with Gao coming on for Muriqui. The Brazilian did not look best pleased but I can't think why - he contributed next to nothing tonight.
Some welcome relief for Guangzhou as Ribery is replaced by Shaqiri.
Thiago takes it but it's easily saved by Zeng. Just did not get the purchase he wanted on that one.
Ribery causing all sorts of problems now, as Zhou is booked for bringing down the Frenchman. Free kick in a dangerous position.
Yellow Card Xuri Zhao
Ribery involved again, as he slips the ball through for Gotze. However, the attacking midfielder's powerful strike is brilliantly pushed away to safety by Zeng.
Much more like it from Ribery, who turns Zhang inside out before firing against the top of the crossbar. So close to a second goal for the winger.
Ribery has a couple of chances to swing a free kick into the danger area but both deliveries are poor. You'd expect better from the Frenchman but, in fairness, the edge has completely gone out of this game. All too easy for Bayern.
Another decent drive forward from Thiago, who somehow gets the ball to Gotze. The Germany international shoots early but Zeng manages to tip it over the bar. Good reaction save.
Bayern make their first change of the evening, with Javi Martinez coming on in place of Kroos.
Van Buyten gives away a free kick for a foul on Elkeson. However, Guangzhou waste one of their few chances to put some pressure on the Bayern goal.
Alaba's proving a constant menace down the left-hand side. He wins a corner, which goes short to Lahm. However, the skipper's strike is blocked. It is effectively shooting practice at the moment, though.
Bayern have had 14 shots on goal to Guangzhou's one. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about how this one is going.
Assist David Alaba
Goal Mario Götze
GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL! Gotze picks up the ball on the right-hand side and finds the back of the net with a slightly deflected effort. Definitely took a nick off the defender but that was a great hit all the same. Game over.
We're back up and running, and I've one change to tell you about, with Rong coming on in place of Huang.
We're just about to get back under way in Morocco. Expecting more of the same from a dominant Bayern side ...
The half-time whistle blows with Bayern in absolute cruise control after two goals in the space of four minutes at the end of a half they've absolutely dominated. Guangzhou seem utterly incapable of stringing more than three passes together. Could be a long second half for Lippi's men. Looks like a case of how many, as far as Bayern are concerned.
Assist Thiago Alcántara
Goal Mario Mandzukic
GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL! Thiago pounces on some poor play at the back from Guangzhou and picks out Mandzukic at the far post. The Croat takes care of the rest with a terrific diving header.
Bayern looking to put this game to bed before the break, with Mandzukic drawing a smart save out of Zeng with a well-executed volley. Guangzhou hanging on for dear life at the minute.
Goal Franck Ribéry
GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! Bayern finally make the breakthrough. Mandzukic knocks a cross down for the supporting Thiago Alcantara. The former Barcelona man is denied by Kim but the clearance drops for Ribery, who fires home on the volley. Fine finish from the Frenchman and Bayern deservedly lead.
The ball falls for Boateng, who tries his luck from distance, but that was never troubling Zeng.
Rafinha goes on the overlap but Huang is alert to the danger and restricts Bayern to a corner
Alaba and Ribery try to get something going down the left wing but the latter is ultimately crowded out. The France international has two men on him nearly every time he picks up the ball.
Thiago, who's been Bayern's liveliest player, slips the ball into the path of Ribery. The Ballon d'Or contender takes a tumble in the area but the referee is having none of it. Contact looked minimal, to be fair.
Guangzhou get a chance to break but botch the opportunity. They've not kept the ball well at all.
Finally been treated to a replay of that terrific effort from Kroos. It was a fantastic hit but bounced down a good two yards the wrong side of the line, as far as Bayern are concerned.
Bayern threaten again, this time through Ribery, who sees a low strike spilled by Zeng. But the goalkeeper manages to recover the ball. Bayern really pressing now.
OFF THE BAR!!!! Bayern should be ahead! Kroos plays a lovely one-two on the edge of the box before unleashing a sensational strike that rattles the crossbar before bouncing away to safety. So unlucky for the Germans.
Five unanswered shots on goal from Bayern so far, but Guangzhou are holding their own, in fairness.
Free kick for Bayern right on the edge of the area. It's Ribery to take it ... but the Frenchman fires it high over the bar. Poor effort from the winger.
Zhang looks to get Elkeson away down the right again but Neuer is alive to the danger and shepherds the ball out of play.
SO CLOSE!! Bayern do a wonderful job of pressurising Guangzhou, winning the ball back and working it wide to Lahm. His cross is a beauty and Thiago Alcantara controls it before firing the ball against the outside of the left post. Major let-off for the Chinese outfit.
Lahm slips the ball into Gotze on the edge of the box but the former Borussia Dortmund man is unable to get a shot away. Guangzhou defending very well, it has to be said. Not giving Bayern any space in around the area.
Guangzhou threaten for the first time as Elekson gets away down the right wing. His cross is cut out by Van Buyten, though, and the resulting corner comes to nothing.
Bayern continuing to press and they're racking up the corners. Their deliveries have been poor thus far, though.
Ribery slips the ball through to Alaba, whose effort is well stopped by Zheng. Wouldn't have counted anyway, though, as the Austria international was offside.
Unsurprisingly, Bayern dominating in terms of possession early doors, with Ribery drawing a free kick wide on the left. However, Kroos' free kick is cleared to the edge of the area. Lahm hits it first time on the volley but the ball flies over.
Bayern, playing in white, get us up and running ...
Right, we're just about to get under way in Morocco. By no means a full house, but a decent atmosphere nonetheless. Kick-off is just seconds away ...
As for Bayern, Pep Guardiola has named a very strong starting XI: Neuer, Rafinha, Van Buyten, Boateng, Alaba, Ribery, Thiago Alacantara, Lahm, Kroos, Gotze, Mandzukic.
Let's take a look at the line-ups. First, Guangzhou Evergrande: Zeng C, Zhang L P, Feng X T, Elekson, Zheng Z, Muriqui, Conca, Huang B W, Kim Y G Sun X, Zhao X R.
The Bavarians can ill afford to underestimate tonight's opponents, though. Guangzhou are coached by Italian legend Marcello Lippi and have only lost four games all year. They also coasted to an impressive 2-0 quarter-final win over Al Ahly on Saturday.
Bayern are, of course, the favourites for this one. Pep Guardiola's men may have suffered a shock Champions League defeat at home to Manchester City last week but last season's treble winners have, for the most part, been in fine form this season and are currently riding high at the top of the Bundesliga. They're going into this one on the back of a 3-1 win over Hamburg at the weekend.
Good evening, folks, my name's Mark Doyle and welcome to Goal's coverage of Bayern Munich's Fifa World Club Cup semi-final showdown with Guangzhou Evergrande.
