Wigan will be happy with a draw here, despite the goal, they haven't created much and seem to be playing for the point now.
The free-kick is whipped in by Duff, but is cleared out, the ball eventually finds it's way back into the box, and after a series of deflections, bounces off Senderos and into the side netting, with some sections of the crowd thinking it was a goal.
More intricate passing by Dembele and Dempsey on the edge of the opposition box, the ball finds it's way on to the right, but Wigan concede a foul, and the hosts now have an opportunity to put the ball in the box.
Pogrebnyak hits the post after Al Habsi parrys a Dempsey shot. A Fulham goal is looking imminent. Some very good work by the American but his strike partner just couldn't provide the finish.
Fulham retaining possession again, just looking for that killer pass, but the ball goes out for a goal kick despite some firm protesting by Riise.
Beausejour gets two opportunities to cross from the left for Wigan, but both are wasted.
The hosts are in control now, patiently moving the ball around waiting for an opportunity.
Pogrebnyak gets on the end of a good cross and forces a fantastic save from the Wigan keeper, but the Russian is deemed to have fouled Caldwell in the process.
Fulham pilling on the pressure now. Riise shapes up to take a free-kick from 25 yards out, but it's deflected and into the arms of Al Habsi.
Good movement from Riise who drives a shot across the box, Pogrebnyak gets on the end of it, and the ball strikes the woodwork and onto the line, before bouncing back into play.

This game has suddenly exploded into life.

Some good interplay between Pogrebnyak and Dembele on the edge of the box, and the ball seems to hit a Wigan hand, but the referee doesn't give it.
Another chance for Wigan, as Figueroa volleys in the box. His shot bounces off the turf and goes wide. The Latics creating more at the moment.

Caldwell lunges at Pogrebnyak and mistimes his tackle, catching the Russian forward, resulting in the game's first yellown card.
Beausejour wins a free-kick near the left corner flag, the resulting cross finds Alcaraz who nods it down to Gomez, but his shot hits the side netting.
Dembele neatly drags ball away from Figueroa with some nice skill, but his studs seemed to have scraped the face of the the Honduran who was sliding in and is now receiving medical attention. It didn't look intentional.
Dempsey gets the ball just inside the Wigan half, and runs at Figueroa who seems to bring him down, but the referee says no foul.

There is one minute of added time, but neither side is showing much urgency as the first half comes to a close.
A good break from Wigan ends with Gomez firing a shot to Schwarzer's near post, but the Australian is able to gather comfortably.
The ball eventually reaches Riise but his cross comes to nothing.
After a few tough challenges, McArthur brings down Diarra, who wins a free kick, bringing cheers from the home crowd.
Dempsey does well to dribble past two Wigan players, and lays the ball of to Duff on the right, but the final ball is lacking once more.
Fulham contiinue to pass the ball between them nicely, and it ends up wth Duff winning a throw-in near the right corner flag.
Gomez gets time and space on the ball, but he slices a shot from 25 yards horribly wide.
Dempsey gets fouled midway in the Wigan half. The American then receives the ball in another good position and puts in another dangerous cross, but Al Habsi reads it wells and just gets ahead of Pogrebnyak to gather the ball.

Di Santo seems to be struggling and Roberto Martinez decides to bring on on Connor Sammon to replace the Argentine.
Some good intricate passing from the Cottagers, John Arne Riise finds Dempsey in the box once more, who's cross flashes across the goal, but nobody is there to get on the end of it.
Another corner from Fulham is cleared by Franco Di Santo, the ball finds it way to goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi, who launches a counter attack, Jean Beausejour delivers another good cross, but it comes to nothing.
Fulham holding on to possession and frustrating the Latics. Clever play from Moussa Dembele and Dempsey results in an effort that is well blocked by Boyce.
Mahamadou Diarra fouls Jordi Gomez in a dangerous position, but the Spanish midfielder's free-kick goes straight into the wall.
Brede Hangeland gets on the end of the set-peice, but cannot direct it on target as it goes wide of the post.
Pogrebnyak receives the ball on the edge of the box, and fires his shot towards goal, but a deflection sends it out for a corner.
A long ball from midfield finds Dempsey in the box who was onside, but his first touch with his chest sends the ball out of play
Both teams stringing together passes, but not creating much by way of chances.
Victor Moses gets away from Senderos, but his shot is fired straight at Mark Schwarzer.
Fulham get a freekick to the left of the penalty area. What was a nice training ground piece, saw Danny Murphy pass the ball to Duff, who made a good run in the opposite direction of everyone else, but his shot flashes over the bar.
Damien Duff found space on the right, but his cross deflected for a corner. The resulting set-piece was taken short, with the Irish winger putting in another teasing cross, but it gets cleared by a solid Wigan defence.
Wigan attack with a deep cross from Beausejour, the ball gets headed down at the back post and falls to McCarthy, but he volleys the ball well over.
If they have any chance of claiming all the points today Wigan will have to keep Clint Dempsey quiet, the USA international has been in stunning form recently, and enjoys scoring against Wigan, with six goals in nine appearances against them.
Clint Dempsey already has a penalty shout turned down as he goes down under a Gary Caldwell challenge!
Wigan get the game underway at Craven Cottage!
The Latics have won four of their last five, with massive victories against Liverpool, Manchester United and the previously mentioned Gunners, and are the third most in-form team in the Premier League, behind Newcastle United and the Red Devils, gaining thirteen points out of a possible fifteen.
Wigan field an unchanged side from the one that beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates, as they try to move further away from the relegation zone. Three more points here will move them eight points clear of the drop zone and in a great position with three games left of the season.
Fulham have made two changes from the team that drew 1-1 to fierce west london rivals Chelsea. Phillippe Senderos replacing Stephen Kelly and striker Pavel Pogrebnyak returning from injury for Kerim Frei. The Cottagers will be hoping to end the season strongly with a top half finish, and have only lost once to the Latics in their last thirteen games against each other.
