Barely tested in the first half but could do little about the three shots put past him after the break.
Effective going forward but left a lot of space behind him, which Southampton exploited for the first and third goals.
Looked strong in the opening 45 minutes, stepping up well to make interceptions, but Southampton effectively isolated him after half-time and he could not deal with their pace on the break.
Not really to blame. Played very well for the most part for a man of his age and experience but was never a match for Southampton once they really hit their stride.
Solid at left-back but did not venture forward too often. Clyne got behind him for Southampton's second but really he needed more protection.
Like Sidwell, he needs to push on a lot more now Kvist is sitting deeper. Never gave Bent the support he required, although he defended well.
Virtually non-existent. Fulham were crying out for more flair and creativity and he did not get on the ball nearly enough.
Really promising early on, playing some lovely passes as he drifted in from the right and looked the only real creative threat Fulham had. Faded in the second half, though.
Just not pro-active enough. Needs to be much more of an attacking factor now Kvist is sitting behind him.
Superb for an hour or so until things starting collapsing around him. He had not played since December 7 and perhaps tired as the game wore on, which probably contributed to Fulham's downfall. Looks very promising in the holding midfield role overall, though.
Forced one fine save from Boruc with a very difficult shot to take on but should have done better moments later when he was again denied from a much better position. Not a factor otherwise.
Superb in the first half, making three excellent saves to keep the score level. Untested after the break but he played a valuable part in this victory.
An authoritative presence at the back. Southampton will need him to play like this in Dejan Lovren's absence.
Was a little loose when marking Bent once or twice - but wasn't punished. Generally a fairly assured display and an away clean sheet is never to be sniffed at.
A few examples of his trademark bursts down the left but he sometimes held on to the ball a little too long. Completely snuffed out Duff defensively.
Endured a poor first half, making few tackles and struggling to stem Fulham's breaks. Replaced at the break.
Struggled to get his first touch right in the first half and was well marked by Kvist but started drifting to the flanks after the break and was much more effective. Finished superbly to give the Saints the lead.
Did not get his foot on things as he usually does in the first half but provided a more stable presence in the centre of the park as the game wore on. His long pass to Rodriguez for the third goal was either hopeful or inspired.
Came off injured in the second half. He had not had a great deal of joy attacking down the right flank until that point.
Something of a passenger in midfield, although he did become more involved after Clyne came on to his right.
Finished the game off with a simple strike from eight yards. Like the rest of his team-mates, did not have the greatest first half but turned it up after the interval and also provided the assist for Lallana's opener.
His physicality created space for Lallana in particular and he was one of the more effective Saints in an otherwise below-par first-half display. Grabbed a deserved goal with a brilliant curled finish.
