Was lambasted by Fulham fans for his distribution but made a number of important stops in what was his 500th Premier League appearance.
Dealt with crosses superbly for the most part but never had it easy after Sidwell's early sending-off. Coped well considering the circumstances.
Was creative, ambitious and full of energy - even if some of his more intricate through balls did not come off. Also showed great strength on the ball and jinked past players at will when he was in the mood. Was taken off with three minutes to go.
Made great runs from the off – almost setting up an early goal for the home side. Was quiet at times but gave the Arsenal defenders a real scare down the right-hand side on more than once occasion.
Was typically adept at cutting passes out but often hesitated when it was him who had to make a delivery. Also produced a fantastic diving block to deny Cazorla late on.
Made several important challenges and clearances to prove he is adapting very well to the left-back position.
Was sent off after a diving challenge on Mikel Arteta. Acted rashly and made the already huge task facing his team a mammoth one.
Passed and moved well, and was extremely lively on the counterattack. Was Fulham’s best player in the first half and was unlucky not to grab a goal or assist before the break. Came off with five minutes to go but can be happy with the excellent display he put in.
Displayed his battling qualities, fighting for every ball with robust challenges. Looks a promising talent but needs to show a tad more creativity to become a success in the Premier League.
Threatened throughout the first half and teamed up well with the energetic presence of Kacaniklic.
Helped out at the back but was guilty of poor service on occasion during a largely anonymous display.
Made a couple of very important saves in the first half as Fulham looked to make up for their man advantage. Was equally adept in the second, even though the Polish keeper still does not look fully comfortable quite yet.
Cut passes out effectively and popped up conveniently on the stroke of half-time to head into an empty net for what proved to be Arsenal's winner.
Made a number of key defensive headers and showed his experience in frequently shepherding Kacaniklic off the ball.
Supported the Arsenal midfielders well down the left-hand side and defended resolutely too. Was guilty of occasionally giving the ball away, though.
Came close during the opening 10 minutes and defended astutely throughout.
Won the ball well in the middle and distributed passes very neatly. Was fully in control of the midfield battle until he was replaced by Lukas Podolski half-way through the second 45.
Broke forward often and threaded typically intricate passes to those around him. Threatened with his own shots as well. Came off late on after a solid display - though it was not his best this season.
Helped Rosicky and Arteta dominate the midfield and was excellent on the ball aside from the odd misplaced pass. Went to ground easily and made some poor tackles, though, and did not endear himself to the home fans.
Metronomic as always, despite suffering a nasty tackle on his ankle from Sidwell early on.
Scored early on but from an offside position, though he continued to threaten at pace down the right-hand side.for the rest of the first half. Gave the ball away cheaply at times but whipped in the free kick for Arsenal's opener. Came off mid-way through the second half.
Showed a good first touch but was virtually anonymous in the first half. Was sent off late on for a rash challenge but at least he was present for the majority of the encounter - unlike Fulham's Steve Sidwell.
