Saved well from Hoilett and Dunn, though was at fault for the Blackburn goal. The American needs to be more commanding in those situations.
Just his second Premier League start, but the young defender looks at home in the Everton defence already. Assured in the tackle and dominant in the air; this lad has a bright future.
Defended well and never really looked under too much danger from Goodwillie. There was little more he could have done to aid his team.
Did not see as much of the ball as usual, with few crosses coming in from his left-hand side. Was by no means a poor performance, but the defender has set such high standards for himself.
Was seen as an underwhelming signing by the Everton fans, but on this display that will soon change. Gibson has an incredible passing range and isn't afraid to throw himself into tackles.
A typical performance from Neville who dealt admirably with the pace of Hoilett - and even managed to put in a couple of thumping tackles. Had a shot go just wide in the first-half which would have been the perfect birthday present.
Such a physical presence in the Everton midfield. He wins every header and makes countless tackles which makes him a real asset to David Moyes. Made himself a nuisance in the build-up to the first-goal, but was lucky to get away with the handball.
Was substituted in the second-half after a quiet afternoon, much to the frustration of the Everton fans. The Nigerian has been in good form of late, but failed to threaten today.
Came off in the 54th minute after a largely ineffective display that saw his goalless run continue. Had one glaring opportunity in the first-half, but other than that he was a passenger.
Finally ended his goal drought which will come as a huge relief for the Aussie in a performance where he looked back to his best. Always looked to support Saha and battled with N'Zonzi throughout.
Was instrumental in the first-goal as he chipped in a cross and was unlucky not to grab himself an assist when Saha spurned his chance. Still not at his best, but he was efficient this afternoon.
Made a superb save from Fellaini in injury time to give his side a valuable point. Was rarely tested, but showed his quality as he stayed alert to the final whistle.
It's a big boost for Steve Kean to have the tall defender back available for selection and will be hoping to keep hold of Chris Samba to forge a fine partnership. Did not look short of match fitness as he always looked comfortable.
Not the tallest of defenders, but coped admirably with the aerial presence of Saha and Cahill. His experience is key to Blackburn and he can be happy with today's performance.
A relatively quiet afternoon for the Swede who often had no right-winger to contend with. Should have been more of an outlet going forward, but was solid defensively.
Was afforded the space to attack this afternoon with N'Zonzi and Petrovic sat behind him and went close on a couple of occasions. A really solid display with moments of class.
The Norwegian was in poor form in the early part of the season, but has been a real force behind Rovers' recent revival. Looks to have his confidence back after a tough spell.
A confident display in the anchor role of the Blackburn midfield, allowing David Dunn to get forward. Made some stunning long passes in the first-half and rarely gave possession away.
Had the powerful Anichebe as his opponent and dealt with his threat with ease. The youngster was assured in possession and even out-muscled the Everton forward in the first-half.
The rangy midfielder is deceivingly quick and was behind many counter-attacks as he drove forward into the Everton half. Doubts remain over his future at the club ,but there is no doubt Kean will be desperate to keep hold of him.
Handed a start in the place of Yakubu, but was largely disappointing as his touch and passes often went astray. Looks dangerous running at players, although he does not do it enough. Somehow scored, but there was little skill involved.
A real live-wire with incredibly quick-feet. He was desperate for someone else upfront with him rather than Goodwillie. Always looking to take on his man and deliver a cross, but more often than not there was nobody there.
- 1 J. Mucha
- 2 T. Hibbert
- 7 D. Bilyaletdinov
Given 35 minutes to try change the game and was very lively. He continues to impress from the bench and it is a mystery why he is rarely started.
Came on for the last 10 replacing Anichebe and was given no chance to make an impact.
- 19 M. Gueye
Came on for the last five with very little time to change the game.
- 13 M. Bunn
- 39 A. Henley
- 31 G. Hanley
Was brought on with half-an-hour to play and went close with a curling effort late on.
- 29 S. Vukčević
Came on for the last 15 minutes replacing Goodwillie, however he was either unfit or intimidated as he looked uninterested.
