Derby could have lost by two or three more goals if it wasn't for the youngster, who put in a good shift and could arguably do little about any of Liverpool's well-executed goals.
Only featured in the first half. Looked relatively solid defensively, despite a few problems, but was replaced by Ince in an attack-minded change by Nigel Pearson.
Fared slightly better than Christie and was able to power forward on a few good runs, but his chances were few and far between, whilst at the other end he had a few problems against Clyne.
Was pegged back inside his own half of the pitch and struggled against Coutinho, who often got the better of the under-pressure right-back.
It was a really tough night for the centre-back, who never looked entirely comfortable when put under pressure and made a terrible error in the build-up to Liverpool’s opener.
Looked slightly more comfortable than Keogh, but the defender still struggled on what was a tough night for all of the Derby players and failed to track several runs from Coutinho and Firmino.
Looked bright whenever he was able to get on the ball in advanced areas, but he found his opportunities to do so severely limited and, as a result, was unable to shine.
Arguably one of Derby’s better performers. Put in a good, hard-working shift in the centre of the pitch and caused a few problems as an aerial threat inside the Liverpool penalty area.
Too often left space available in front of the Derby back line, and on the rare occasions he was able to get on the ball he did very little with it.
The Austrian had a really tough time due to Liverpool’s bossing of possession, resulting in him seeing little of the ball before being hooked for Elsnik.
It was always going to be a tough night for the striker, who was isolated for the majority of the evening. However, he did well to carve out a few chances on goal when he was presented with the opportunity to do so.
The goalkeeper had very little to deal with due to Derby’s struggles, but he still didn’t look entirely comfortable in the air, especially from set-pieces.

The Estonian had very few problems defending against Derby’s struggling front line, and he did well to pounce on an error from Keogh to fire his side into the lead.
Partnered Klavan brilliantly in the middle of a Liverpool back line that were barely tested by Derby, although he did well to frustrate Bent when the striker got near the ball.
Looked far better than he has done in recent weeks, although this was largely due to him being put under little pressure. He was able to concentrate on pushing forward and looked dangerous in advanced areas as a result.
A few poor passes caused Liverpool problems in the first half, but, bar that, the Brazilian performed well and impressed at the base of midfield.
The youngster put in a solid, if unspectacular, performance. Looked good with the ball at his feet and was always willing to track bac and help out defensively when needed.
The Brazilian was in excellent form from start to finish. The Derby defence couldn’t deal with the attacking midfielder, resulting in him scoring a lovely goal and picking up two excellent assists.
Was slightly sloppy with his passing on a few occasions in the first half, but he grew into the game after the break before being replaced by Can.
Alongside Coutinho, the number 11 was one of Liverpool’s best players. Always caused problems with the ball at his feet and set up his side's second goal with a lovely pass into the penalty area.
The Belgian looked to be one of Liverpool’s quieter forwards for much of the night, but he popped up when needed to fire in an excellent strike to give his side a two-goal lead.
Came on for Olsson and continued the Swede's good work going forward as Derby desperately tried to find a way back into the game.
Had a few good moments when motoring forward but, overall, made little impact after coming off the substitutes' bench.
Was smart with his passing in advanced areas but saw his opportunities limited due to his side's struggles.
Came on for the final 10 minutes and put in a solid display in the middle of the pitch to help see his side over the line.
Replaced Henderson for the final half an hour. Largely performed well although on a few occasions stray passes caused problems for his side.
Made his first appearance of the senior and featured for 30 minutes. Had a couple of opportunities inside the Derby box but didn't see as much of the ball as he would have liked.
