  • That's all from me today at Selhurst Park. I'm Alex Moretto, and I'd like to thank you all for keeping me company today. You've been great, as always. Good bye!
  • What better way for Tony Pulis to celebrate his 200th match as manager in the Premier League, than with a win against the club he spent over ten years with?
  • FULL-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 1-0 STOKE CITY. Jason Puncheon earns redemption after last week's horrible penalty miss, with the lone goal in what is a titanic win for the Eagles! Thanks to results elsewhere, Palace jump from last place in the Premier League, to 16th and out of the relegation zone. It really is a deserved win for Palace, who defended admirably. As for Stoke, their terrible form on the road continues as they continue to drop further down the table.
  • 90' + 4'
Clattenburg blows the full-time whistle, and Tony Pulis has secured a massive three points for Crystal Palace, defeating his former club!
  • 90' + 4'
GREAT SAVE BUTLAND!! It hardly matters anymore, but Puncheon is picked out by Jedinak at the far post and his effort is turned aside by a sprawling Butland. Surely that's it though...
  • 90' + 3'
Stoke back the other way and Shawcross goes down in the box. Appeals for a penalty are turned aside by referee Mark Clattenburg, and Palace break again on the counter.
  • 90' + 2'
Palace counter with 2 v 1. Puncheon picks out Wilbraham who tries to pass it into the net from 25 yards out!
  • 90' + 1'
More Stoke pressure, but they're finding it hard to get in on goal as Palace are back in numbers. Guidetti wins a corner but the ball is poor and the Eagles break on the counter.
  • 90'
Four minutes of stoppage time as indicated by the assistant referee.
  • 89'
Mark Hughes takes a page out of Tony Pulis' book, as he sends Shawcross up in attack, to give them even more height up top. Crouch and Shawcross side by side certainly won't make life easier on the Palace back four.
  • 88'
Stoke are running out of time, and it's not helping their cause. They're rushing their attacks, making life much easier on the Palace defenders.
  • 86'
    Substitution Marouane Chamakh Aaron Wilbraham
  • 86'
    Substitution Yannick Bolasie Dean Moxey
  • 86'
Pulis uses this stoppage to make a couple substitutions of his own, in the hopes of killing off every precious second he can.
  • 85'
MAGNIFICENT GOALKEEPING BY BUTLAND!! Chamakh picks out Puncheon, who finds Ward, but his shot is palmed away by a diving Butland. Puncheon is there on the follow up, but Butland is up to the task once again! Incredible stuff from the youngster.
  • 84'
    Yellow Card Steven N'Zonzi
  • 82'
    Yellow Card Marko Arnautovic
  • 82'
Stoke forward in numbers once again. They're moving well, but are lacking the final ball, which results in possession being given away more often than they would like.
  • 81'
Palace keeping possession well in the attacking third. Arnautovic chasing down the ball, and commits a hard foul on Mariappa, who has some choice words for the Austrian as he gets back onto his feet.
  • 79'
    Substitution Jonathan Walters John Guidetti
  • 79'
John Guidetti is the final substitution for Mark Hughes, as the striker who arrived at the clubon loan, less than 48 hours ago, is set to make his Potters debut. Walters is the man who gives way.
  • 77'
Palace enjoy some possession of their own, but it's given away far too cheaply. They're doing a good job of clogging the midfield, however, and win it back, forcing Stoke to concede a free kick.
  • 77'
Palace enjoy some possession of their own, but it's given away far too cheaply. They're doing a good job of clogging the midfield, however, and win it back, forcing Stoke to concede a free kick.
  • 75'
Again it's Adam, the maestro in midfield for Stoke, who tries to pick out Walters this time, but there's just too much pace on the pass and it trickles out for a goal kick.
  • 74'
Stoke with some solid build-up, and Adam picks out Crouch beautifully, who turns and has a go, but his shot curls just wide of the far post. Better, this, from Stoke.
  • 72'
    Substitution Oussama Assaidi Marko Arnautovic
  • 72'
Hughes brings Arnautovic on now, as Stoke continue to search for an equalizer. Assaidi gives way, and he has been rather quiet since half.
  • 71'
Pulis is at the edge of the touchline, shouting directions at his team. What a massive three points this would be for him and Crystal Palace.
  • 70'
Palace break forward on the counter through Mariappa, who streaks down the right and provides an excellent ball in, but it's dealt with by Stoke.
  • 68'
    Substitution Adlène Guedioura Stuart O'Keefe
  • 68'
The throw results in some good possession for Stoke in the attacking third, but it ends with a feeble attempt on target that Speroni collects easily.
  • 65'
STAT ATTACK: Stoke have now kept just one clean sheet in their last eight matches.
  • 63'
Stoke push back in numbers on attack and Adam smacks the ball towards goal but it sails just wide!
  • 62'
Incredible run by Puncheon!! He beats four defenders magnificently, but goes for goal instead of laying it off for a teammate. That could have produced a second for Palace.
  • 61'
Cameron pushes forward on the attack and some good footwork wins Stoke a throw in from an attacking position.
  • 60'
Another ball played into the box, Walters again on the end of it, and he beats Parr but can't direct his header towards goal.
  • 58'
    Substitution Glenn Whelan Stephen Ireland
  • 58'
Pieters tries to switch the play, looking for Walters down the right, but it's picked out easily by Parr and Stoke are forced to regroup.
  • 55'
N'Zonzi attempts to spread the play from the middle out to Assaidi on the left. He overhits his pass, though, and the winger is unable to keep it in pay under pressure from Mariappa.
  • 53'
Assaidi attempts to make amends for that error as he beats Mariappa down the left and sends a cross into the box. It is not the best delivery and it looks to be heading straight for Speroni's arms, but Gabbidon is taking no risks and puts his boot through it.
  • 51'
    Goal Jason Puncheon
GOOOOOOAL!! Puncheon breaks the deadlock! He recovers from that horrendous penalty miss last weekend by stealing in and intercepting Assaidi's pass to Wilson in the box. He shuffles it onto his left and picks out the bottom corner with a guided finish.
  • 50'
What was Delaney doing! The defender could have challenged for the lofted ball on the edge of the box but he instead ducked out of the way and allowed the Stoke defence to clear the danger. A very odd one there.
  • 49'
Great feet from Bolasie! He showed great feet to work his way out of a tricky spot with three Stoke players on him. He then pushed the ball down the right but Wilson came across to beat him to it down in the corner.
  • 48'
Jedinak brings the ball up through the middle of the park and begins to direct play out to the right. Mariappa eventually attempts to get in behind the defence so he can whip a cross in but the ball is shepherded out of play.
  • 46'
So close to an opener for Stoke! A long ball up top is knocked back into the path of Adam by Walters. He brings it down onto his right foot but drags his shot narrowly wide of the post from 20 yards out.
  • 46'
We are back underway at Selhurst Park.
  • HALF TIME - Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke: The two sides go into the break level and in truth there has been little from either side to suggest they deserve to be ahead. Both have lacked quality in the final third, but hopefully things can only get better.
  • 45' + 1'
    The half-time whistle goes!
  • 45'
A chance for Stoke right at the end of the half but Adam's free kick is headed away from danger by Gabbidon.
  • 42'
Not long left to go until half time now and there is still very little to separate the two sides.
  • 39'
Stoke enjoying some of their best possession at the moment, as Adam now runs down the left and does wonderfully to pick out Walters in the box, but his header is hit straight into the waiting arms of Speroni.
  • 37'
Cameron streaks down the right and gets into a good area, but is forced to cut it back to wait for support, giving Bolasie time to track back and win possession, which he does very well.
  • 35'
Both teams have had their possession, and have managed some solid build up play, but lack any sort of quality in the final third. The game could really use a goal to liven the pace and create a sense of urgency from either side.
  • 33'
Stoke again regain possession and seem content on keeping it. The ball is eventually sent long and into the box, but Walters can't bring it down and it's dealt with by Palace.
  • 31'
It's played short, the cross is blocked and cleared away. Palace are struggling to break through this seemingly impenetrable Stoke defence.
  • 29'
Palace eventually win the ball back and push forward. Bolasie is fouled by Wilson and Puncheon has another chance to whip a good ball into the box here from the ensuing free kick.
  • 27'
Stoke's negative build-up has made the crowd grow a bit restless, but they are enjoying a nice spell of possession at the moment as Palace refuse to close down gaps in the midfield.
  • 25'
Palace are really showing why they have struggled for goals this season. Stoke are backing off a bit, leaving the attackers space to run, but they seem content on building from the flanks and sending in crosses, as opposed to building up the middle.
  • 23'
Pieters is picked out now as he comes flying down the left. He takes it well and is by a defender, but his half-volley dips and swerves a few feet wide of the near post.
  • 22'
STAT ATTACK: Crystal Palace have managed a meager 13 goals through 21 matches this season, worst in the Premier League – only seven of which have come from open play.
  • 20'
Mariappa and Bolasie link up on the right now, and the former sends a great cross in that Wilson just gets to first for the clearance. Palace have caused Stoke some problems down the flanks early on in this one.
  • 18'
Gabbidon gets it again at the top of the box, and has Delaney making a nice run to his left, but telegraphs his pass and it is easily dealt with by the Stoke defence.
  • 17'
Puncheon crosses the ball in now from a free kick, and it's out behind for a corner.
  • 16'
Nearly a mess from Stoke! Cameron's back pass is weak and Shawcross just beats Chamakh there to make the clearance. Palace beginning to up the pressure now.
  • 14'
GREAT SAVE SPERONI! Charlie Adam sends a long ball into the box and Marc Wilson comes out of nowhere to attack it. His header is marked for the bottom corner, but Speroni gets down well to palm it away!
  • 12'
Palace break out thanks to a nice ball from Jedinak, and win a corner. It's played short and eventually out to Gabbidon, and the center back tries a shot from 30-yards out. Mark Hughes won't exactly love that.
  • 10'
Sloppy start to the game at Selhurst. The crowd has come out in numbers, but a clogged midfield has prevented the game from really coming to life in the early stages.
  • 8'
STAT ATTACK: Stoke City have scored only one headed goal this season, and it came last week against Liverpool (Peter Crouch).
  • 7'
Stoke cause some trouble for the first time this afternoon as Walters streaks down the left and crosses it in for Crouch. Gabbidon is there, but scuffs his clearance and the Potters have themselves a corner.
  • 5'
Close! Bolasie dances by Cameron on the left and his cross in is met by Chamakh who heads it wide. Nice build up that, though, from the Eagles.
  • 3'
It's Palace who are given the first opportunity as they win a free kick down the right flank. Puncheon takes it, but his cross is poor and easily dealt with.
  • 2'
The atmosphere is fantastic here at Selhurst Park as the teams feel each other out in the opening minutes.
  • 1'
Crystal Palace get us underway, wearing their red and blue home kits, moving from right to left. Stoke are wearing their black away jerseys.
  • Tonly Pulis follows the team out of the tunnel, and is given a warm reception by both sets of fans. Just about ready for kick-off!
  • STAT ATTACK: Stoke are unbeaten in their last three trips to Selhurst Park, managing two wins (in the League Championship) and a draw (FA Cup).
  • Mark Hughes has also only instilled one change to his XI from the team that fell 5-3 to Liverpool last week, with Marko Arnautovic sitting out in place of Oussama Assaidi who returns from injury. New loan signing John Guidetti is also in the squad, while Kenwyne Jones has been left out after refusing to play against Liverpool last week.
  • Stoke City XI (4-2-3-1): Butland; Cameron, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters; Whelan, N'Zonzi; Walters, Adam, Assaidi; Crouch. SUBS: Arnautovic, Guidetti, Ireland, Muniesa, Shotton, Sorensen.
  • Bolasie faced a late fitness test and has been deemed good to go. Cameron Jerome is ineligible to face his paret club, Stoke. Pulis has instilled only one change from the team that lost 2-0 to Tottenham last week, with Adlene Guedioura replacing Jerome.
  • Crystal Palace XI (4-4-1-1): Speroni; Mariappa, Gabbidon, Delaney, Parr; Bolasie, Ward, Jedinak, Puncheon; Guedioura; Chamakh. SUBS: Bannan, Gayle, O'Keefe, Moxey, Price, Wilbraham, Williams.
  • The teams have been announced, so let's have ourselves a look at today's starting line-ups:
  • Perhaps a date with the league's worst attack will be the cure for Stoke's defensive woes of late. The Potters have conceded 23 goals on their travels this season, bested by only Fulham and Norwich (24), while scoring only eight. Despite their road woes, a win could see them jump into the top half of the table depending on results elsewhere.
  • The visitors' season has gone very much to script in the first six months. The Britannia has remained a fortress for Stoke, but their away form has been dreadful. The Potters only away win came in the third week of the season, a 1-0 victory at Upton Park. Since then, however, Mark Hughes’ side have managed just two draws and seven defeats away from the friendly confines of the Britannia. It is because of this reason that they are looking up at the table instead of down, at the moment.
  • As if Palace needed any more motivation, Pulis will have his men ready to take on a Stoke team that he is all too familiar with. Goals have been hard to come by for the Eagles this season, but they will fancy their chances against a Potters side that have been conceding at an alarming rate in recent matches. Palace has failed to score in 11 of their 21 matches this season.
  • Despite playing better of late, Crystal Palace find themselves at the bottom of the table. They have managed just one win from their last six, but much of that can be attributed to the level of competition they have gone up against. Tony Pulis has led the Eagles to a 3-1-1 record against teams in the bottom half of the table since being appointed in late November, something he will need to continue if he hopes to avoid a first ever relegation as manager.
  • Good afternoon Premiership fans around the world, and welcome to Tony Pulis' chance at redemption, as Crystal Palace host Stoke City at Selhurst Park. I'm Alex Moretto and I'll be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
