  • Well, what a match that was. I hope you enjoyed the action, but if you're a Liverpool fan then I would expect you didn't. Farewell.
  • 90' + 6'
FULL-TIME! What a match we have just witnessed at Selhurst Park and that could have absolutely massive consequences in the title race. Liverpool looked unstoppable as they marched into a three-goal lead and had one eye on Man City's goal-difference lead. Palace had other things in mind, however, and they raced back to steal a point and a 3-3 draw. Liverpool could not see the win out and although they go one point clear at the top, the title is Manchester City's to lose now. A truly disastrous night for Liverpool in London as the Premier League crown looks set to stay in Manchester for another year.
  • 90' + 4'
Huge chance for Liverpool!! Palace fail to clear Gerrard's corner properly and Coutinho chips it back into the danger area. Once again the hosts make a mess of getting it away and Moses has an open goal to aim at, but under pressure, he completely misses his kick.
  • 90' + 2'
Gayle - chasing a hat-trick - is causing Liverpool problems again. This time, however, he can only send his left-footed effort harmlessly-wide of Mignolet's left-hand post.
  • 90' + 1'
Five minutes of stoppage time will be played. You could see both sides scoring again before this ends!
  • 90'
Danger at the other end, meanwhile! Coutinho cuts inside from the left and sends a stinging drive in towards Speroni, who fails to catch the ball and has to nervously parry back into the danger area.
  • 88'
    Assist Glenn Murray
  • 88'
    Goal Dwight Gayle
GOAL!!!! PALACE DRAW LEVEL!! What a second-half performance from Palace! Murray produces an exquisite pass into the area for Gayle following a lofted pass from the back and the former Arsenal trainee pokes past Mignolet. He has been simply sensational since coming on.
  • 86'
    SubstitutionDaniel Sturridge Victor Moses
  • 86'
Palace take the corner quickly and Bolasie dazzles the Liverpool defence with his twinkle-toes, but his final ball into the area is agonisingly too far ahead of Gayle.
  • 86'
The free-kick drops kindly for the impressive Gayle, but his first touch is a little heavy and he ends up having to settle for a corner. This is all Palace now.
  • 85'
    SubstitutionKagisho Dikgacoi Thomas Ince
  • 85'
While Palace wait to take their free-kick, former Liverpool man Thomas Ince comes on for Pulis' men.
  • 83'
What a finish we could be in store for here! Palace are really pushing for a point now and Liverpool and clinging on. A corner goes begging for the hosts, but they now have a free-kick in an advanced position on the right.
  • 81'
    Assist Y. Bolasie
  • 81'
    Goal Dwight Gayle
GOAL!!! Palace get another!! What brilliant play by Bolasie as he picks the ball up on the edge of his own area, races away from his marker and then charges past Johnson. The Congolese winger eventually gets all the way into the visitors box and cuts a pass back to Gayle, who guides a lovely finish into the bottom-right corner. Game on!
  • 79'
    Assist Mile Jedinak
  • 79'
    Goal Damien Delaney
GOAL!!! Palace pull one back! Centre-back Delaney finds himself in an usual position; right outside Liverpool's area. The defender receives a pass from Jedinak and then sees his long-range effort deflected into the top corner off Johnson.
  • 78'
    SubstitutionRaheem Sterling Philippe Coutinho
  • 76'
Big block by Dann! Sturridge finds himself one-on-one with a defender in the area, but instead of going for goal, he produces a stepover and tees up Sterling. Dann, however, gets in the way of the winger's eventual shot.
  • 75'
Liverpool nearly craft another opening as Suarez poked a pass through to Sturridge, who could see Sterling charging into the area. However, the former Man City man stumbled just when he looked set to find the pass.
  • 73'
Lovely footwork by Bolasie as he produces a nutmeg before jinking past Gerrard and crossing, but the delivery is a little too heavy and it sails all the way through to the left flank.
  • 71'
    SubstitutionMarouane Chamakh Glenn Murray
  • 71'
Chamakh has run his race as Glenn Murray - Palace's top-scorer in their promotion campaign last season - replaces him with just under 20 minutes to go.
  • 69'
Brief moment of danger for Liverpool as Mariappa rides a challenge from Flanagan and gets into a good position to cross. His delivery is played back towards the edge of the area, but Liverpool cut it out before a Palace man can get on the end of it.
  • 67'
    Yellow Card Scott Dann
  • 67'
Clever play by Johnson as he charges in from the right, skips past two challenges and then sees his left-footed effort palmed over by Speroni. He has scored those before!
  • 65'
    SubstitutionJason Puncheon Dwight Gayle
  • 65'
Palace appear to have quietened Liverpool a little in the last few minutes, but you can bet that the visitors' urgency will be back rather sharpish if they truly are intent of getting as close as possible to City's goal-difference lead.
  • 63'
    Yellow Card Martin Skrtel
  • 63'
Skrtel unfairly brings Chamakh down in a bruising clash. The Slovakian finally gets himself a yellow card, following numerous earlier offences.
  • 62'
Few would claim this match does not look a foregone conclusion now, but by how many goals can Liverpool win? Before the match their goal difference was nine worse than Man City's, but they still have a few more to get!
  • 60'
The visitors threaten again as Johnson comes inside from the right, evading challenges to good effect before sliding a clever pass into the area for Suarez. The forward manages to skip around Ward, but the defender manages to force Suarez out of play.
  • 58'
Liverpool are throwing everyone forward at the moment and shooting on sight as they look to cut Manchester City's goal difference lead. Suarez and Sturridge have both tried their luck again, but to no avail.
  • 56'
That was Suarez's 31st Premier League goal of the season, taking him level with Cristiano Ronaldo and Alan Shearer for the division's record haul. One more and it is all his.
  • 55'
    Assist Raheem Sterling
  • 55'
    Goal Luis Suárez
  • 55'
GOAL!!! And there is number three for Liverpool! Suarez burst towards the penalty area, played Sterling in to his left and then received a return pass before squeezing a shot past Speroni.
  • 53'
    Own Goal Damien Delaney
  • 53'
GOAL!!! Liverpool double their lead! Just a few moments after being agonisingly denied by the Speroni-post combination, Sturridge cuts across the edge of the penalty area and sees a left-footed effort deflected past Speroni.
  • 52'
What a save by Speroni! Sterling, cutting in from the left, picks out Sturridge just outside the Palace area and the former Chelsea man takes a touch, before curling a shot towards the left side of the goal, but Speroni tips it on to the post and Suarez blazes the rebound over.
  • 50'
    Yellow Card Luis Suárez
  • 50'
Suarez is apoplectic with the decision not to give him a penalty there and Clattenburg gives him a yellow card for his incessant protesting.
  • 49'
More penalty claims for Liverpool. Suarez picks up possession in a deep position and charges towards the area. He lays the ball into the area for Sturridge and then looks to complete a one-two with his team-mate, but Scott Dann cynically blocks him off. Palace are lucky there.
  • 48'
Back down the other end, Bolasie is causing trouble again. He holds off Lucas, cuts inside Johnson and then charges into the area, but Skrtel is there to cover for his team-mates.
  • 47'
Good start for Liverpool as Sturridge marches down the right and gets in behind Delaney. The defender produces a good tackle to halt the forward, but Liverpool are adamant that they should have a corner.
  • 46'
The teams are back underway for the second half.
  • HALF-TIME! Clattenburg blows his whistle to end an entertaining and well-contested first half at Selhurst Park. Liverpool go into the break with a slender 1-0 lead thanks to Allen's first Premier League goal for the club and the title-hopefuls could have added a few more. However, for all their attacking potential, Liverpool have also looked troubled at the back on occasion and Palace could just have easily taken a draw into half-time. Liverpool will be pleased, but they may have to be more clinical after the break if they wish to go back to the Premier League's summit.
  • 45' + 1'
Two minutes of added time will be played here.
  • 45'
Liverpool are finishing the first half very strongly and Allen finds himself presented with another chance after a well-worked move sees Suarez cutting a pass back to the Welshman. However, the ex-Swansea City youngster skews his effort high and wide.
  • 43'
Good stop by Speroni! Allen plays Suarez into the left side of the area and although the pass is a little heavy, the Uruguayan gets to it in time. The former Ajax man moves back away from goal and back out to the left in order to give himself space and then tries an audacious attempt from that uninviting angle. It looks to be heading in, but Speroni does well to get down and palm it away.
  • 41'
Palace get themselves momentary respite as Chamakh looks to bring a lofted pass down just inside the Liverpool half, but finds himself clattered from behind by Skrtel, who claims he was looking for the ball.
  • 39'
Following a promising few minutes for Palace, Liverpool appear to have regained their focus and control of the ball. The visitors do look dangerous on almost every attack, but Palace have posed problems on the break.
  • 37'
Brilliant play by Sterling down the right as he cleverly knocks the ball inside, beating Ward and skipping into the area. The England winger cuts the ball back towards Suarez, but he sees his eventual shot go well over as he could only reach it while stretching.
  • 36'
Palace's corner comes to nothing as Mignolet impresses again, this time with a commanding punch clear. Liverpool race away with the ball as another counterattack beckons.
  • 35'
Mignolet again! Palace are growing in belief here once again and their captain is the latest to test Liverpool's keeper. Jediank is presented with significant space 25 yards from goal and unleashes a fierce drive which looks destined for the net, but Mignolet tips it over the crossbar in acrobatic fashion.
  • 33'
Great save by Mignolet! Palace find themselves invited forward by Liverpool and Puncheon drives a low effort towards the bottom-right corner from 20 yards, but the Belgian goalkeeper palms it away.
  • 31'
Wonderful effort by Suarez! The Player of the Year victor tries to curl a vicious shot into Speroni's top-left corner, but it flies just wide. Admirable effort either way.
  • 30'
    Yellow Card Adrian Mariappa
  • 30'
Mariappa is the latest player to go into the book for a cynical foul on Suarez, and the Uruguayan - who appeared to be unwell before kick-off - steps up to take the free-kick himself.
  • 29'
Ever since that promising opening 10 minutes or so, Palace have retreated into their shell a little. The areas in which they looked threatening - on the flanks - have since been deserted.
  • 27'
Liverpool's counter bodes well until they reach the Palace penalty area and Dikgacoi is there to mop up, just about. The South African almost got caught out himself, but he hurriedly booted the ball out of play.
  • 26'
Palace clip the free-kick to towards the back post, where it seems several of their men are waiting. However, the laboured delivery is dealt with easily by Liverpool, who attempt to spring a quick counterattack.
  • 25'
    Yellow Card Joe Allen
  • 25'
Goal-scorer Allen finds himself in the book now. Suarez played him into a bothersome situation with a poor pass in his own half and the Welsh midfielder stretched to steal possession back, fouling Ledley in the process.
  • 23'
Stoppage in play now as Skrtel and Delaney seek medical attention for an accidental clash off the ball in the middle of the pitch. Both look as though they will be fine, however.
  • 22'
Liverpool look to have crafted another glorious opening as Flanagan collects a long ball in the area and squares it to Suarez, but the assistant has his flag up for offside.
  • 20'
That was Allen's first goal for Liverpool in his 50th appearance. Prolific.
  • 18'
    Assist Steven Gerrard
  • 18'
    Goal Joe Allen
GOAL!!!! Liverpool take the lead at Selhurst Park! Gerrard's corner once again travels towards the far post and the unmarked Allen shows great composure to head it back across goal and into the goal.
  • 17'
Liverpool's dominance seems to have gone up a notch in the last few minutes. Sterling does well as he comes in from the right and lashes a left-footed goal towards goal, but it is deflected just past the post. Corner.
  • 16'
Great chance for Liverpool! Allen produced a fine driven pass over the Palace defence and just inside Bolasie, which Johnson duly latched on to. The full-back meets it with a header, but he agonisingly puts it over the bar, with Speroni in no-man's land.
  • 15'
Palace steal the ball back with Liverpool trying to take control and Jedinak looks straight to the left wing with a lofted pass. That should highlight their game plan, with Bolasie very nearly getting on the end of that.
  • 14'
Liverpool are enjoying what is probably their first significant spell of possession, but Palace are holding firm at the moment, with everyone but Chamakh back in the defensive third.
  • 12'
Unsurprisingly, Liverpool are looking to dictate possession here so far, but Palace are proving to be a troublesome opponent. The home side are looking particularly dangerous down the flanks and on the break.
  • 10'
Mile Jedinak's corner - like Gerrard's before - sails through towards the back post and almost goes straight out of play, but Wards manages to get his head on the end of it and subsequently puts the ball into the side netting.
  • 9'
Not for the first time, Puncheon troubles Liverpool down the right wing. He wins a corner for the hosts, who are ensuring their visitors have a battle on their hands.
  • 8'
Great chance for Liverpool! Gerrard's corner is a good one and finds its way all the way towards the back post, but Sakho nods wide. He'll be kicking himself for not at least getting that on target.
  • 7'
Tentative Liverpool penalty claims turned down! Johnson latched on to a pass into the area and went down after Bolasie swung for the ball and missed. Referee Mark Clattenburg ignored the claims, however, and Liverpool must settle for a corner as Speroni blocks Suarez's cross.
  • 6'
Palace are straight back down the other end, however. Chamakh does well to hold up play and poke a pass in towards the danger area for Puncheon, but the winger's eventual right-footed effort is extremely tame as he slices wide.
  • 5'
Liverpool create their first opening of the match. Unsurprisingly Suarez is involved as he manages to get in down the left side of the Palace defence, but his low left-footed cross is hacked away.
  • 4'
Bolasie is enjoying a lively opening. On this occasion the rapid winger chips the ball past Lucas before attempting to collect it himself, but Gerrard covered well.
  • 3'
Threatening play again by the hosts. This time Palace get forward down the right and Puncheon crosses towards the edge of the area. Chamakh tries to cushion the ball down for a team-mate, but the touch is very heavy.
  • 2'
Encouraging start by the hosts as Bolasie finds space on the left before clipping an inviting cross into the centre for Chamakh, but Sakho intercepts with a crucial header.
  • 1'
Off we go! Liverpool get the action started at Selhurst Park.
  • The players are now out on the pitch as kick-off approaches. A Liverpool win guarantees them at least a second-place finish, while Palace look to give their fans something to shout about in their final home game of the season.
  • For Palace, though, things are a little different today. While Liverpool have title aspirations, Palace are already safe and will be celebrating their final home match of the season knowing that they will be back in the Premier League next year. How many of you predicted that when Ian Holloway was still in charge?
  • Of course, all eyes will be on Liverpool tonight as they look to make first place their own once again. Brendan Rodgers' men go into this fixture level on 80 points with Manchester City, who sit top due to their goal difference being nine better than the Anfield club's. Victory at Selhurst today will put the pressure back on City ahead of their home match against Aston Villa on Wednesday.
