Benefited from having an excellent defence in front of him. However, when called upon he sprung into action to make a couple of fantastic saves. Spared his side the pressure of an early Turkish goal when he remained big to deny a Kazim-Richards shot in the box.
Continued his impressive form from the first leg. Was dominant in the air all match and made a few vital tackles on the edge of his own box. Showed a cool head that helped his team ease to qualification without much incident.
Constantly and cleverly stretched the play down the field whenever Turkey edged closer to the Croatia box, which took the pressure off his defence. When he got in these positions down the right he was not as adventurous as usual but he managed to intelligently keep the ball. Had a few speculative shots at goal but did not come close to hitting the target.
Certainly an impressive athletic performance this evening as the full back was up and down the right wing the whole match. Attacking play was slightly better as he linked up well with Srna but defensively was slightly rash, as proved by his very late tackle on Caner Erkin in the first half that earned him a booking.
Is definitely profiting from lining up next to Simunic. Has ironed out some of the mistakes he made in the first leg such as wandering from his position. Stayed solid all match and contributed to the impenetrable Croatia defence. A no nonsense performance.
A classy performance from the Sevilla man. Displayed neat and tidy touches all game and rarely gave the ball away. Came close to scoring when he exchanged a lovely one-two with Mandzukic on the edge of the area but saw his shot well saved by Bolat.
Was an imposing presence in the midfield for Croatia. Extremely level-headed in his defensive duties and pulled off a few excellently timed tackles on the edge of the Croatian box. Provided a perfect shield for his defence and saw that they were never really under threat.
Enjoyed the space he was awarded down the left-hand side. Drove forward dangerously a few times in the first 30 minutes and displayed moments of terrific trickery, most notably a delicious nutmeg of Serkan Balci. However, as Gokhan Tore came on and was effecting play down the right, he became more retrained and focused on his defensive duties, which he performed solidly.
Defensively he slotted in nicely next to Vukojevic and constantly barraged the Turkish midfield, trying to close them down. Offensively he made some powerful runs towards the Turkey defence and was unlucky on a couple of occasions when his lashed pass across goal was passed up by his team mates.
A decent performance that was slightly hampered by some bad decision making. He opted to shoot in an awkward position in the box when Modric was standing free and picked a few wrong passes in the final third, but grew into the match and stretched the Turkey defence with his clever runs in the box.
Played the match with immense desire despite his sides comfortable first leg advantage. Linked up impressively with Mandzukic at times but drifted out of the match as the time went on. Came closest to scoring when he dragged a shot across goal with his weaker foot that was easily saved. Was replaced on the hour mark by Perisic.
A fairly quiet performance for the Standard Liege man. Biggest moment of note was an outstanding save at the feet of Rakitic in the box in the second half. Dealt with all other incidents relatively comfortably.
Added some solidity in the defence that Turkey were sorely lacking in the first leg. Organised the team better than Friday's match despite his young age and led by example at the back.
Had a personal feud with Srna down the wing and was often bettered by the Croatia captain's speed and trickery. However, when defending narrowly his positioning was much better and he communicated with his team mates better.
A much better performance than the first leg. Made two excellent blocks in the box from a shot each by Modric and Rakitic and generally looked much more at ease. Was also more aerially imposing than the previous match.
Had a torrid opening half hour at the hands of Pranjic. The Croatian was having joy and even performed a cheeky nutmeg on the right-back. However, as the Bayern Munich man played deeper, he was able to venture forward and affect the play more.
Was a willing runner down the left hand-side and bombed into the Croatia half at times. However, his runs were without any end product and he did not offer any attacking threat. Was taken off in the first half.
Was guilty of being far too slow on the ball. Whenever he received possession the tempo of the match dropped which played into the hands of Croatia. Passed the ball neatly but did not offer any defence splitting passes or meaningful shots.
Played like a man who has not seen a lot of first team football recently. His passing was very laboured and gave the ball away on more than one occasion. Set-piece delivery was also sub-standard and wasted a few opportunities to get a good delivery into the box. However, was very unlucky when his right-footed foot struck the post in the second half.
Almost gave his side a much needed early goal in the opening minutes when his shot from outside the area clipped on to the post. Drifted in and out of the match and spent most of his time exchanging short passes with team-mates which did not offer much going forward.
Had absolutely no service for the entire duration of his time on the field. Cleverly dodged Inan's shot that hit the post but spent his match mostly being easily marked in the penalty area.
A very inept performance this evening. Nothing seemed to come off for the attacker as strived to help his side. The determination was there but he gave the ball away at crucial times, most notably receiving in a meaningful counterattack for Turkey but surrendered cheaply as he entered the opposition box.

Done what was needed after his introduction. Took the ball intelligently down the left wing which kept the play away from the Croatia goal. Also came close to scoring when his deflected shot from the right went just over the bar.
Eduardo Da Silva
Came on in the last ten minutes but failed to make an impact in his short time on the pitch.
